Set over the beautiful bird watching wetlands on the sand dunes of Moorheads Beach, "The Outlook" is a perfect little getaway in Bermagui.

The unit is on the north side of Bermagui's spectacular harbour, within 150m walking to great local shops and cafes for your morning coffee and breakfast.
The unit is a two storey duplex in a quiet and tranquil spot at the rear of the block, with a path out over the sand dunes that takes you right to the beach without even having to put your shoes on!!

The unit has been recently renovated with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. The Outlook can sleep up to 7 but is also perfect to be a cosy romantic getaway for a couple, looking for a lovely weekend or holiday away. There is 3 bedrooms including a master with large en-suite, and a mezzanine level that sleeps 3 in singles, and another bedroom downstairs that can be a queen or pushed apart to make two further single beds if needed.

The open plan kitchen/living/dining are light and airy as floor to ceiling windows lets you drink in the views over the deck of the bird watching wetlands, Mt Dromedary and the ocean over the dunes. The kitchen is fully equipped, great for those wanting to stay home and eat in after a long day of exploring, surfing or fishing. Lovely linens and towels are also provided to make your stay easy and comfortable.

The property has a lock up garage and an extra car space, as well as a laundry and outdoor washing line. The property has a fire pit on a beautiful redgum timber outdoor entertaining area that is perfect for the evening (fire restrictions permitting). Pets are allowed but please note that the property is not fenced so will need to be on a lead when not in the unit. The upstairs area is not suitable for children under the age of 3.

Bermagui has so much to offer from great cafes and bakeries, glorious ocean beaches, snorkelling, surfing, great walking trails like the horsehead rock trail, and of course the world class fishing! The harbour has wonderful wine bars & restaurants overlooking the boats and is a perfect place to unwind from the day.

A wonderful quick break away (2 adults, 2 kids and one dog) Lovely sunny spot - an easy stroll to the beach through a grassy path. Sunrise was magical. Easy walk into town (12-15 mins). Unit was clean, and had everything we needed (we enjoyed the no wifi and came prepared with lots of games & books, plus our own DVD to use in the property player) Communication & check in super easy. V happy to recommend.

Fabulous view from this cosy little unit! Disappointing not to have Wifi but I should have checked … just presume it’s a given. Also no hairdryer or milk provided! Little extras make a big difference.

Beautifully situated next to wetland reserve. A good base for the Sculpture Exhibition weekend. Disappointed that despite a venue description which included a TV, the signal for TV was so bad we couldn't watch anything incl. our favorite show of the week. Also disappointing was that the host was unresponsive to our text and voicemail and email communication efforts during our entire stay.

Stayed in Bermagui for a wedding weekend. This townhouse was an easy walk into town but away from the noise and traffic. 100m walk through the coastal scrub and dunes to the beach and best coffee right on the corner. Plenty of room for 5 adults, lovely and relaxing inside and out.

Tv did not work. No wifi. The property has dead and alive ants and spiders everywhere. We needed to use the pest spray which I do not like doing especially in the bedroom. Otherwise the location was great for our needs and the beach was just over the dunes.

Thank you for a lovely 3-night stay in Bermagui! I travelled with my husband and our two dogs, and we all enjoyed the quick walk out the back to the beach. The location was great, close to everywhere we needed to go. We had an awesome time exploring different beaches in the area. The coffee shop being only a few doors down was very much appreciated each morning. The house had everything we needed other than a fully fenced yard (we just took the pups out frequently to visit the grass out the back door).

Super conveniently placed house of us who enjoy easy access to the sea. Our family spent a week here, house is well equiped with all facilities and cooking equipment. Beds are super comfy and small details such as beach towels available are such a delightful welcome. Owners were quick to respond when we had trouble accessing the house at check in, and super helpful. We will surely book again.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at this property! It is close to all amenities with gorgeous views from the back deck onto the flora and fauna sanctuary and the beach a short stroll from the back door. So peaceful and relaxing and just whatever needed. The kitchen and bathrooms have been beautifully renovated and the beds were very comfortable. Our hosts were also very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this lovely clean Townhouse. Very comfortable beds. We watched large and small birds flying and landing it trees just outside the window. Must say the windows need cleaning. There was everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We also saw dolphins in the bay which was a bonus. Thank you

The property was comfortable practical, clean and well organised. In a great location, so close to the beach and close to town. A great size house for a family, and the kids loved playing around the wetlands out front. Visiting in winter the heating was great and the unit contained everything we needed. We will be booking again!

An enjoyable stay. Cosy, comfortable and warm accommodation ( winter time ) in a great location with good views across the wetlands and a short stroll to the beach. Bermagui is a nice and friendly town. I only wish I was brave enough to jump into the Blue Pool but that will have to wait till our next visit in the summer time.

Kitchen and bathrooms were upgraded and bed was very comfortable. Property was cold and heating was loud or inadequate. Loungeroom was not very comfortable for relaxing on holiday. Lack of internet is owners choice but no maps, guides, or instructions for appliances was an oversight.

This is the best coastal holiday rental I’ve stayed in. All I want in a rental is a good view and somewhere to sit and enjoy it, clean sheets and comfortable beds. Had all of this plus an easy walk over the dune to the beach.

This place was 100% perfect for me and my 14yr old son & his friend and our little dog. Comfortable, quiet, and with the beach at your back door it had everything we could have hoped for. Bermagui is a breathtakingly beautiful spot, where you can see dolphins, whales, seals plus an array of birds. The town is cute and friendly and full of an awareness of sustainable living. We hope to make this a yearly holiday for sure. Thank you!!

A great stay for us, 3 teenagers/young adults and dog! Property was clean, modern, equipped for the basics to eat in, and close to options to eat out. Dog friendly beach and sheltered inlet also an easy walk away. Was lovely sitting on the deck and watching the bird life and hearing the surf. Living area is not big but was fine for our party of 5. For those with dogs, the deck is gated to keep them secure but there is not a fenced yard. Bermagui is a dog friendly place - even the pub allows dogs on deck and many beaches in the area are leash free if your pooch likes a run and swim. Would happily stay here again. Thanks Holly!

We got some very average for summer weather (cold/wet), so we 4 friends were glad to be in a spacious and clean townhouse! The owners instructions were all easy to understand. Response to my question was also prompt. Kitchen: essentials are all there, and it's pot luck with some kitchen basics. If you want to take your own coffee/moka pot, it's an induction stove top :) Downstairs shower space is tiny, upstairs shower is spacious (no tub in either). We were able to enjoy the deck on afternoon. No bbq, but plenty of options around the beaches/parks. Neighbours were quiet and pleasant too. Would definitely come back! Easy walk into town. For summer peak season, Bermagui was peaceful, just bliss for this Sydneysider!

The unit was much more than we expected. Close to a magnificent dog friendly beach. Quiet area and close to supermarket, restaurant, eclectic Mexican and a very short drive into town. Lovely renovated spacious and comfortable space.

For those looking to book with their dogs: The path through the scrub from The Outlook accommodation to Moorhead beach prohibits dogs (to protect the wildlife), but I suspect there is street access further down the beach. Beares beach was a great off-leash spot for dogs. Use the left hand side path to the beach as the one on the right falls away. We checked out Hayward beach, another off leash spot, but if your dogs aren’t disciplined lead walkers, the steep path down to the beach won’t be safe.
