Lovely home, we really enjoyed ourselves, it had everything we needed.

Spacious, warm, spotless, fantastic location, lovely garden, top location, wonderful welcome pack. Could hardly be improved!

a couple of things for the dog would have been a nice touch (dog blanket, bowl); we didn't get the TV to work properly (no big issue)

House was very cold inside on arrival which wasn’t very welcoming. However, it warmed up very quickly when the heating was on, but then it got rather too hot, and we couldn’t adjust timing or temperature. Aside from this minor niggle the accommodation was perfect for us.

The house was brilliant. Had everything you could need and a lovely welcome pack. Ideally placed for touring the area.

The location was perfect for exploring the North West Highlands. The house was like a home from home, everything you could ask for and the host was very responsive. We were having such a great time that we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay. We'll definitely be back.

The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The house was comfortable and warm.

GPS took us past the house, up a small lane just beyond the house. This was on various mobile phones. In the end, there were some friendly gentlemen who told us where the house was. We did arrive in the dark which made identifying the location more difficult. A more clear house number or identification would have been appreciated. Other than that all was well. One more thing, we were asked to leave the keys in 'the back door'. Now, deciding which door was 'the back door' made for more mystery. All in all, the house proved to be a fabulous place to stay and we would like to stay there again one day.

House was perfect

We loved how clean and comfortable the house was and how close it was to the beaches. It really did feel like a home from home.

The only tiny critisism is that for the size of the house, it could have a slightly bigger fridge/freezer.

For us as a couple a one night stay worked out to be very expensive

This home is a real find - and it is a real home. I was traveling on my own but it would comfortably accommodate six people in three bedrooms. Recently renovated with everything needed for an extended stay or just a couple of days as I was. It would not be possible to be disappointed with this home. Durness is fairly remote but a wonderful place to visit with plenty to do and see. Oh, and there were rabbits in the garden - how sweet was that?

Perfect place, converted to a high standard. Very comfortable couches and cheers in the livingroom. The kitchen was fully equipped. Nice powerful showers. Close to several beaches. Etc, etc.

cosy and clean, very homely and well equipped and in a beautiful location. Ample car parking and a lovely food parcel on arrival which was very useful after a long trip up!

Only silly little thing I can think of is we couldn’t find a dustpan and brush to sweep up sand and dirt. Apart from that everything was taken care of.

Everything about Wallaby's was ab-so-lute-ly fabulous! What a find! From the first steps into the property we were so impressed by the house, the quality of the furnishings, the cleanliness, the decor, its warmth and comfort. The fact there was a downstairs bedroom and a shower room close by really helped one party member who had difficulties with stairs - so unexpected as the photos (I don't think) show that. The upstairs double facing west and the twin facing east were simply but beautifully furnished, and the beds ... oh my, so comfortable! Angela and Ewan were so helpful with the little queries we had, and overall we both wanted to stay longer. And the cherry on the top - we both saw the Aurora Borealis for the first time! This place is highly recommended, and is of exceptional quality and standards

Very comfortable and spacious with a great garden room at the back. Cosy and warm. Short run/walk/drive to the beach. Wish we’d stayed longer.

We had a great stay at Wallaby's location was great walking distance to the beach, house was lovely clean and well equipped. Loved the extra touch of complimentary local treats.. Heads up for people unfamiliar with Durness there is a spar for shopping but about it so may want to stock up before arriving the complimentary bits really came in handy.

Location close to the centre of Durness not that there is much in Durness. Near the beach. Tasteful decor, up together place, good heating and hot water. Downstairs shower was great. Well equipped kitchen. Very nice that they left us some basic food and ingredients for the "first night. FYI there is a very good shop in Durness that has pretty much everything you would want at OK prices so don't bring it all with you support the locals! Ample parking.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. Although some basic instructions on how to operate the microwave would be handy, it took me a couple of days to work out.
