Just imagine the Beach at your front door step 30 seconds walk… a patrolled beach with swimming flags 7 days a week for 7 months of the year. You just walk out the door and the most wonderful clean beach is begging for you to enjoy it. Not only is Warilla Beach amazing, but so is Lake Illawarra which is just around the corner (10 min stroll away). Lake Illawarra and Little Lake (10 min stroll in the other direction) have safe areas for little children to enjoy the water. Digital lock at property so you can go straight to accommodation. Newly installed ducted Air-conditioning & heating throughout whole house. New security screen and window screens.
Our large house can sleep up to 11 adult guests (nightly fee applies after 8 people): suitable for large families, a couple of families, a group of friends or even a work retreat. The dining room table comfortably seats 10 people. The kitchen has pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, toaster, sandwich toaster, cake tins, baking tins, Mixmaster etc…. there is even a bread machine and a weber BBQ!
Free superfast fibre WiFi available. Professional cleaners to assure you of cleanliness.
All beds are located within the four bedrooms. They include 2 Queen beds, 1 Double bed, 2 sets of single bunk beds and 1 single trundle. A porta cot is available (if needed). Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (with inbuilt wardrobes), a bathroom (Shower and a separate bath) and a toilet. The fourth bedroom is downstairs and has an en-suite bathroom/laundry (shower and toilet). Large bath towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Hire of Portacot and sheets available on request (subject to availability).

LOCATION, LOCATION!
When swimming at an Ocean Beach, it is important to always swim between the red and yellow flags. Most beaches on the NSW coast only have these flags during school holidays. Warilla Beach is patrolled for seven months a year (October to April, 7 days a week) which makes it one of the safest on the NSW Coast.
Bring your bikes or skates. The bike/walking track, located 20m from the front door, goes for km’s to the North and South, just fantastic for those evening walks.
Most water sports can be found at Warilla beach, Lake Illawarra or nearby. For example: Learn to Surf, learn to Stand-up Paddleboard, rent a boat, or even get your Scuba divers license.
Non-water sports include: Beach walks, Bushwalks, Jamberoo Action Park, Sky diving, Horse riding…there are so many activities to do.
So many things to do such as:
* Beach BBQ and Picnic Areas * Beach Shower * Opposite large Grass Reserve
* Walking/Bike track that follows Warilla Beach and continues for many kilometers in both directions * Easy walk to several Children's Playgrounds
* Explore islands
* Netted Swimming area in Lake Illawarra that is ideal for children and inexperienced swimmers - * Warilla Beach is a well-known local spot for Beginning to Intermediate Surfers, more advanced Surfing within easy walking * Snorkeling in the Lake
* Beach/lake Canoeing * Beach and Lake Fishing * Only 90 min drive from Sydney CBD * Public Transport: Train, Bus and Taxi * Short drive to Jamberoo Fun Park
Killalea National Park *Kiama Blow Hole
No car is needed. There are regular trains departing Sydney hourly, and there are buses from Oak flats railway station to Warilla. In fact, many locals choose to take the train rather than drive to Sydney. Warilla Grove Shopping Centre (Aldi, Woolworths) is close by.

For longer term stays beyond one month (4 weeks) if there is excessive electricity use, a claim will be made through VRBO/Stayz for reimbursement for user usage for the time of staying at property.
We will deem what is claimable and excessive for the term of the stay.
Illawarra Holiday Accommodation will reach out to guest BEFORE making claim through VRBO/Stayz to discuss with guest with the expectation this can be sorted out in the first instance.
