It’s a Pension, meaning the front desk isn’t continuously staffed — It’s a family business.
I emailed when i would be there. The son Peter took time off from cleaning rooms to check me in.
Great service, wonderful breakfast, and right next to Petr Novotny’s glass museum, restaurant and glass blowing factory. You should visit there too, and look at Griža’s outdoor Glass salvage shop — lovely imperfect pieces for 1€.
Decent pub next door, and an easy walk to town center, city glass museum, brewpub, and just over 1 hour up the Klič/Kleis hill with good views all around.
Highly recommend — I’ll be back.
Busy on weekends, but calm on the 2 days i visited.

We liked the pension in general and its decoration. The young man at the reception had excellent English and was helpful. Nice little terrace garden.
We had a snorer as a neighbour but the owners are not responsible for such things. 😉
4.5
Easy to find. Peter (the son) spoke good English. Plenty of space. Breakfast was very good: fried egg, plenty of fruit, granola, tea/coffee, juice, with lots of bread rolls for the ham and cheese provided. Well-equipped kitchenette outside rooms had fridge, kettle & microwave. Great restaurant (Glass Museum) just 50m away.
Limited car parking, but parking on the main street was available, just not on the immediate side road.
Restaurant was not open for dinner.

Great staff and very helpful. Loved the breakfast. Glass museum and restaurant next door
Parking was a bit tight, but on-street also possible.

Like location; proximity to other towns in northern CZ
4.0
It was cozy and the staff was lovely
The location is a bit far from the train station about 15 minutes so with luggage it can be a bit problematic

Cute and comfortable.
Well choosed interior.

Friendly owner with great local tips. Our dog felt welcome as well.
4.5
Excellent decor, plenty of space. Bathroom was modern and the property very neat and clean.
The room was noisy from the street, and the curtains were not blacking light much so sleeping in the early morning was a challenge.
4.0
Bicycle friendly (they are ready to store your bicycles inside), helpful staff, good breakfast. Our second visit, we would come again.
The room was facing a relatively busy road and hence was a bit noisy - cannot keep windows open at night.
4.0
Easily accessible with a nice staff. The breakfast is fairly traditional and simple but there is enough food and everything is tasty. Within a walking distance to the city center. Good for a night or two.
Seemed a bit old, one of the rooms did stongly smell of desinfectant. Right on the main road so a bit noisy.
4.6
A nice, clean and comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Kind staff. Possibility to make a coffee in the common kitchen. A fantastic glass gallery Novotny with the glassworks AJETO and showroom around the corner.
