Lekker, ontspannen, rustig verblijf in hectisch Bangkok

De ontspannen sfeer. Fijn zwembad in een ruime tuin, waar je je lekker kunt terug trekken om te relaxen. Grote plus, vonden wij, dat de fiets huur gratis was. En uiteraard dat het personeel heel behulpzaam was. Bij aankomst kregen we zelfs een huisje met een "stillere" airco. En bij het vertrek om 05:00 in de ochtend naar het vliegveld, werd zelfs de poort open gedaan door het personeel, incl. uitzwaaien.. Terwijl we hem ook zelf hadden kunnen openen, volgens mij.

Eigenlijk niets, het was volgens verwachting. Ik wist dat er harde bedden waren, voor mij was het geen probleem. Maar mijn partner vond de bedden wel erg hard. Verder wat ik kan bedenken is dat er niet veel restaurant in de omgeving zijn. En als ze er zijn, ze soms on aangekondigd gesloten zijn.

absolutely best place for family’s

very nice place with pool. super quiet but very close to Bangkok. Gerry is just 5 minutes walk away. pool is great. when you arrive you immediately feel welcome in the owner family. they love kids and the rooms are new and super clean. also coffee, some Softdrinks are for free in the room. the staff is also very friendly and working the whole day to make this place so beautiful. the owner and staff is very helpful and you can feel the friendliness of the real Thailand 15 years ago. bicycles are for free. the green island Bang Krachau is an bicycle island and you can do a lot of things as family here. also we went by boat every day to bkk. we lingered our stay for additional 2 days because it was so nice here. thanks to the whole team to make our stay so nice.

美しい庭とおしゃれな部屋で最高の1日を過ごせる場所

素晴らしいお部屋とお庭に感動しました！お部屋のインテリアはとてもおしゃれで広くて清潔でした。友達と四人で訪問しましたが最高の思い出になりました。朝食も美味しくて大満足です。食べきれないぐらいたくさんの朝食を頂きました。フルーツも美味しかったです。

悪い点は特にありません。全て素晴らしいと思いました。

Excellent séjour

Because we stayed during the week, the swimming pool was almost our private pool. We could jump into the swimming pool directly from our room. Swimming pool was very well maintained and clean. The room was clean and the garden was cute. The people were very nice and sweet.

As I appreciate the staff being so kind, I feel bad for giving a bad review, but it was a disappointing vacation for me. It's overcharged when you think about what you get. I've travelled all over Thailand for many years and this place should cost half. I had high expectations because of the price and good reviews, I planned to stay in the green resort doing nothing. But the place doesn't offer much, no dinner served by them so we had to order from outside (the restaurant they know) and eat with a plastic bowl and spoon. And there are no 7/11 or shops around, food delivery doesn't come there. so it was difficult to get food and things needed. No sunbeds, no comfortable seating around the swimming pool to chill and read books. Because of the lack of things and facilities, we went out of the resort to find food etc. It's not their fault but the area wasn't nice.. Garbage everywhere and the smell is everywhere. The river water is so dirty and stinky... I expected a green gateway from busy bangkok, but in reality it was very disappointing.

Great taste of Thailand to get a more rural perspective being so close to the big city.

The staff in their ability to organize the property was above par. They kept the property up, running, and fission every day.

The distance to travel into Bangkok proper was at least 45 minutes to an hour.

Superb

We loved our stay here, the garden and swimming pool are beautiful and perfect after a hot day in Bangkok. The staff doesn't speak English but are super friendly and helpful and we could communicate using Google translate. We recommend taking the free bicycles and riding in the quiet neighbourhood, we saw some varans and the kids loved it! The family room is huge, the beds are comfy and everything is very clean. The place is very quiet at night, we rested a lot from the hustle of Bangkok!

The commute to Bangkok is a bit long but the river crossing by boat in the evening is super charming!

A relaxing and fantastic good place!

It was a fantastic place! Good size and facilities in the room. Everything was clean and beautiful. The park and the garden of the property was nice. The swimming pool was clean and good! We had Tv with you tube! People working there was amazing and fantastic! We got welcome drink - juice! When we left, we got a bag with cold drinks with us as a gift! Breakfast was very good and with fresh fruits. It was possible to oder food, we did it and food was delicious, not expensive and we always got fresh fruits for free! The area around hotel was special and interesting!

We loved this place and we relaxed a lot! Everything was great!

An oasis in the local jungle that you will love

Breakfast was delicious and fresh, Pool had a great water temperature and was clean, rooms were huge and felt private, staff was friendly and helpful at ALL times, awesome for dogs as our little Pomeranian was able to roam around, neighbourhood feels very local, you need to get on a small boat with the other locals to get on the other side of the river, but it’s going 24/7 and costs only about 20baht per person, some strays in the neighbourhood that can be loud but aren’t dangerous

There was no way to darken the upper windows so when the sun came up it would wake you

Beautiful and peaceful place, away from the hustle of downtown bangkok free bicycles to use! clean room and pool

Transportation to leave this area is often difficult, since it is an hour to drive out of this peninsular location and loop back to central bangkok- many drivers using any local app are reluctant to do this especially after hours, and you may be in for a long wait.

Very nice garden and pool, delicious breakfast, helpful and very positive people. There are bicycles for rent for free and free kayak. Bicycles are ideal for discovering Phra Pradaeng. If you are with kids you should visit nearby Get Growing Community Farm. We booked this place to rest after long flight to Bangkok and it was perfect to chill few days outside the big city.

The bed mattress was too hard for us. Our last night we had very loud people behind the wall - there are two apartments per one building and the walls are super thin. But this is normal in Thailand so if you are not a heavy sleeper you will have to use ear plugs sometimes

I would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Staff were really friendly and very welcoming to our family. The bikes were great fun for my son and he loved riding all the different options available. Lovely place to stay and enjoy nature without leaving Bangkok city!

Limited food options onsite and also in the area.

Great option for getting away from the noise and chaos of Bangkok

Beautiful garden full of orchids, nice pool, spacious room, good breakfast (they happily cater for vegetarians), peaceful. Not much English spoken but communication ok with Google translate.

Quite a few ants in the bathroom.

A hidden gem for peace and quiet near Bangkok

This is a lovely getaway to nature near Bangkok. modern clean rooms, green quaint garden with pool, and if you have dogs a great place to play and relax. Free bikes to explore the island, and staff and breakfast are excellent. I rarely rested so well.

The prefect oasis.

A lush little resort tastefully decorated to detail, where you can even kayak. The kind family-owners take a great care of their guests and are very accomodating to their requests. The rooms are ample, the beds confy and they come with a smart TV, in case you fancy to watch Nexflit before going to sleep. The swimming pool is a delight, and you can start your day sorrounded by the relaxing melody of a waterfall-fountaing while enjoying a plentiful breakfast.

Lovely garden retreat

The gardens were really nice. The rooms were spacious and new. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It is within walking distance to the island’s north pier, but coming from the east pier was more difficult since there are mostly only motorcycle taxis on the island.

Only one bottle of soap/shampoo in the bathroom which had to be shared between the shower and sink.

Cannot recommend this little homestay enough. It is very close to the pier across from Khloeng Toey (roughly a 6 minute walk). The hosts were extremely accommodating, and whilst we do not speak any Thai language, they took the time to communicate with us effectively using translator. The breakfast was lovely and presented beautifully. They took into consideration that some of us were vegetarian and catered for us specifically. The rooms were clean and very comfortable - they even had a smart tv! The pool is situated in a well kept garden with fish ponds and a range of beautiful flowers. The homestay gave us bicycles to travel around on and these were well kept. We will definitely return soon - thank you!

Relaxing getaway just across the river from Bangkok, easy to get there and it's like another world.

We really enjoyed our stay in an area known as the lungs of Bangkok. A very nice property, relaxing and quiet. It says homestay but it’s really more like a small resort. The buildings seem new. Our room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower worked perfectly re: water pressure and temperature control. Bikes are available (free) to explore the nearby Bang Krachao park. The area also has a nice waterfront restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property has not been “discovered” yet by western tourists so most guests are Thai. It gets busy on weekends so book during the week if you can.

Just one word of caution - they have had a few problems with their booking.com listing. Not a big problem but just make sure to confirm exactly what room you have booked ie: one bed or two.
