Nice enough property, but the basement was unusable due to mice droppings on the top bunk of the beds in the basement and spiders on the couches down there also which posed a problem since 3 of our family members couldn't stay down there and we had to accommodate them elsewhere. All doors need maintenance - annoying squeaky hinges.

This house was an absolute gem to stay and relax in the pines. Normally would get as close to Woods Canyon Lake but were able to locate this place due to us procrastinating. Sincere gratitude from the Great Grandparents to enjoy some glamping.

This cabin is in such excellent condition; i think that we must have been the first renters after a renovation. Everything was shipshape and it looks like brand-new (except for the kitchen stove, which is a bit dated, but serviceable!) It was very clean, important in these days of Covid-19. The kitchen was very well-stocked, which was important since we cooked (almost) all our meals there. The only thing it was missing was a large knife, such as a bread knife, unless I couldn't find it. Things you might want know: the Wi-Fi signal was very strong. We had three Zoom meetings going on at the same time. It does not have central air. Instead there are three room air conditioners: one downstairs and two upstairs. I can imagine the upstairs bedrooms would need them during the summer, although we didn't need them at all during our stay. I think the master bedroom (first floor, north-facing) would never get too warm. There are neighbors on either side, which you can see from the front porch, but the back deck is very private. The setting was very quiet and private. There are good views of a mountain ridge out the back. We had elk visit us every day! I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return.
