The property was as described. it is plenty big enough and has space to spread out.
The manager/owner Hilary was helpful, when we had issues. she helped with airport transport and we used the same company for group days out.
the pool needed attention a few times and this was dealt with.
Power with all bedroom aircon on was hit and miss, but this is typical in Spain.
some updating could be beneficial.
The location is not the address on the VRBO website. it claims to be in El Campello, but is actually in the mountains at Busot some 18 KMS away. A car is needed.
Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed the facilities.

Nice place to stay for all the family. Some parts a little dated. Lots of space inside and out. Great facilities for the younger members, and adults, crazy golf, sandpit, play area, trampolines, play vehicles and lots more. Terrific size pool with plenty of sunloungers. Hilary was a great host and organised all our transport whilst on vacation as we opted for a mini bus due to numbers. Alicante and Benidorm can be reached via the tram at El Campello. Would we stay again, definitely yes. Forgot to mention, ice cold beer on tap, what more could you want.

We had a great time at Hilary's villa.
We went there with our whole family to get married. Hilary was always there when we needed her and she made a marvelous tapas diner at our wedding day.
In the villa there was everything you need for adults and children. A great swimming pool with playground and miniture golf course gave a lot of fun and enjoyment.
We recommend this place to everyone who wants a nice holiday with everything you could possibly need....last but not least...the beer-tap was the finishing touch.

Hilary was so helpful from booking to leaving. Nothing was a problem. We were a party of 14 and the villa was a brilliant size with lots to cater for all our needs including the children. It was safe and child friendly. Location was good but transportation is required to get about. Hilary was on hand throughout stay to organise taxi for us. Would definitely stay again.

We were 16 friends going to Alicante for a short after season vacation. We had a great time in the villa, with everything we could need. The host Hilary was nice, and helpfull.
The only problem, and a big one for us, is that Vrbo’s site does not show the right location. Instead of being in El campello, it is outside of Busot. That is a 15 minute longer drive away from the beach.

Our family of 17 people ( youngest aged 4, oldest aged 97) spent six days at the Villa over the Easter period. The Villa is simply superb and fully adapted to the needs of a very varied group including eight grandchildren for whom the huge pool, and great range of leisure activities, kept them excited and fully energised. We were able to adapt the range of beds and rooms to suit our party ( this was very easy indeed) and Hilary was a great host and readily on hand for help and information. We prebooked a cask of draught beer (great value) and a tapas meal on the last evening which was a highlight of our stay. We had four hire cars for our group which made for easy access to the lovely coastal fishing town of El Campello (little more than ten minutes drive to the beach, marina, shops, bars and restaurants, all very family orientated) and to local resorts and inland towns such as Alicante, Elche and Valencia. Hilary's Villa is a great holiday venue for larger groups, personably managed, excellently equipped, and brilliantly situated whether for chilled out relaxation, hiking or cycling in the surrounding hills , beach and nightlife or bags of history, culture and shopping in the nearby towns. Thanks, Hilary, for a wonderful experience and a great value holiday .

Just a quick review of Villa Abby. We've stayed in quite a few villas as a large family group over the years and I feel the whole group agreed it was the best villa we stayed in. The amenities in the villa are 2nd to none - so much to do all day every day. The crazy golf created craic for everyone and at night we could play pool etc. The young and old kids loved it and the pool is excellent. There is nothing I could find fault with regarding the actual villa itself.
The only downside is the location, it's a 15 minute drive outside of el campello near Busot. This is fine if you have a car and don't have an alcoholic drink etc when you are out and about etc. The good news is there is a minibus you can call to drop you in to town and collect you. Only once during the whole it could not collect us as it was booked, so we got taxis. So really, the only issue was the extra cost for travel in and out of town etc. VRBO website does not show the exact location. The Bus did airport return and a return to Benidorm for us. All reasonably priced when you divide the cost up among the family.
But I must stress, if you just factor that in, you will not be disappointed with the Villa. Hilary is totally sound, great offers on food and a great host. We hoped to avail of the tapas but we had to made new arrangements as we met friends.
El Campello is a stunning little town and Villa Abby is a great place to base yourself to explore the area

An ideal relaxing break
We had a fantastic stay at Villa Abby in May 2022.
Hilary and her fabulous family are so prepared for any eventuality and are willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. No request was too much!
Hilary was able to offer pre-arrival shopping, a catering service, she organised all of our taxis and transfers and was on hand to help with any issues we had, no matter how big or small. Everyone we met from Hilary's family were helpful, kind and friendly. I simply cannot recommend the services they provide enough.
The villa is very well equipped for very large groups of people to stay, so is ideal for a large family or a big group of friends. The TV was out of action when we were staying there, I'm sure this has likely been fixed since we left - this was only an issue for us as our two year old great nephew missed his cartoons very much in the evenings.
The only disappointment with the villa was that the location is much further out than the pin drop on VRBO. There is nothing within walking distance from the villa and we were not prepared for this (so did not think to hire a car), this meant that we did have to hire taxis to get around. However , as aforementioned - Hilary and Victoria were super stars in arranging these taxis for us and even on a couple of occasions drove us to the supermarket and the local bar as a favour! Really, really cannot fault their service!
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday at Villa Abby and would be more than happy to stay again!

Henos estado un grupo de 6 familias, con 10 niños entre los 3 y los 10 años.
La casa es perfecta para ese plan. Las habitaciones de la planta de arriba son perfectas. Las de abajo, muy bien para que los niños puedan estar juntos y disfrutar.
La casa cuenta con un montón de opciones para que se diviertan los peques, y bien equipada para los adultos, con dos barbacoas ( más una de gas), opción de grifo de cerveza...y claro, la piscina, con un tamaño adecuado para estos grupos.
Tanto dentro de la casa como en la terraza hay espacio y mesas suficientes para poder comer juntos.
Por la zona hay múltiples planes para hacer excursiones, y playa cerca.

Agradable puente
La casa está muy bien equipada para el ocio y en cuanto a mobiliario y utensilios. Es muy amplia en las estancias comunes de interior y exterior y en las habitaciones. Podrían cambiarse algunas literas por camas normales teniendo en cuenta el espacio (como en el dormitorio más grande de la planta de arriba).
La única posible pega es la localización, no está en el Campello, sino a unos 15-20 minutos tierra adentro en unas urbanizaciones. Necesario coger coche para ir a comprar y para cualquier cosa. Pero sabiéndolo, no es problema.

rural tour hilay vacation
La semana pasada fuimos un grupo de 17 personas a la propiedad de Hilary y desde el minuto uno fue muy atenta con nosotros. La vivienda es muy grande y nuestra estancia fue genial, además, nos ofreció un barril de cerveza y estaba riquísima! Respecto a la limpieza, el primer día nos encontramos un pájaro muerto en el salón y había un par de cosas rotas como las cisternas y la puerta de un armario. La cocina es de gas y algún fogón salta más que otro y tuvimos algún que otro percance. Respecto a la distancia a la playa, en web pone que está muy cerca de esta, en realidad se encuentra bastante lejos, y, a pesar de que se nos ofreció un servicio de autobuses (muy amables y puntuales) es bastante inviable ir sin coches. Por lo demás todo perfecto!!!! hacia mucho calor!!!!😃😃😃😃💘💘💘💘

Ideal property for large groups
There were 16 of us staying in this property and we couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience. The house itself was huge and the grounds of the house were even bigger. There was plenty of space for our entire group and we could have easily fit multiple more members. The house itself was a bit far out from everything but that didn’t really matter as we didn’t need to leave much during the day and when we did, there is a bus service that was always available to drop and collect us. Hilary was a most accommodating host, she was always on hand to help with any quieres or concerns we had. Overall, we couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience staying here.

Fuimos a pasar unos días un grupo de amigos de 17 personas y gracias al acondicionamiento de la casa para dar servicio a un amplio número de personas a la vez, no faltó de nada. Mini vacaciones
Hemos pasado unas mini vacaciones en esta casa, 12 adulto y 11 niños. Zona muy tranquila y alejada de núcleos urbanos.
Hilary se ha volcado con nosotros, llegamos en plena ola de calor, y detectamos que uno de los aires acondicionados no funcionaba, y al día siguiente vino con el técnico.
Casa bien equipada.
X destacar algo negativo, la falta de Onas de sombra ( cosa que ya tienen en mente resolver)

There are so many different facilities that no one needs to be restless.
Here you will find everything you need in bedding, towels and kitchenware.
It's really noticeable that Hilary is want her guests to enjoy there stay!! 🌟
She lives in the same area and we were told to call if we were missing or wondering about anything.
The area is very quiet and the poolarea is well protected.
If you don't want to stay in the villa all the time, you need to have access to a car.
We couldn't have had better accommodation for our joint vacation!
The beer tap was an extra plus🍺

...cuidar pequeños y grandes detalles
La casa, aunque la reservamos para 25, finalmente fuimos 20 y menos mal, porque si bien las 5 habitaciones de arriba están "correctas", aunque algún baño y ducha se atascara y las camas y alguna litera no fueran cómodas, las 2 habitaciones de abajo no dejaban de ser una habitación de servicio con entrada desde el cuarto de las lavadoras y otra era una sala de juegos con un billar en el centro y 2 literas dobles, donde apenas existía ventilación (antiguo garaje). El resto de la casa (cocina , salón, terraza y piscina) fenomenal.
La propietaria, Hllary, si bien el trato fue inicialmente cordial, creo que hay que cuidarlo un poco más y no entrar en pequeños detalles (alguna cama sin recoger las sábanas, ....) y pensar que las opiniones de los clientes es lo que realmente tiene exclusivamente que preocuparse.
En resumen, casa para no más de 20 personas y que con un pelin más de mantenimiento la casa estaría mucho mejor valorada

Family vacation
My family and I stayed in this beautiful house Villa Abby. The owner Hillary was really nice and always ready to help. My grandchildren really enjoyed the area, all this cars, trampoline, mini golf etc. We had a surprise birthday dinner and we order it from Hillary everyone was so happy about it, it was really good. Thank you so much Hillary. I can’t complain about anything, except the beds needs to be updated. We all really enjoyed our stay in Villa Abby. Thank you.

Great family holiday villa
Overall this is a great villa and Hilary was very helpful letting us check in early and check out late. If we needed anything she was quick to sort it out. The kids loved all the games, cars and play facilities. The beer tap was great too. Loads of sun loungers and beach toys and inflatables. The villa is out in the sticks but not a problem as we had hire cars. The downside was the two downstairs bedrooms didn’t have air con and although fans were provided they were really hot. Also there was a horrible smell in the master en suite from the drains and we had to keep putting water and bleach down. The location on the website is also wrong, it’s actually another 10 minutes from the airport. There was a bit of confusion trying to find it but Hilary provided the location straight away so it wasn’t too bad. We all had a brilliant time overall.

Beautiful villa with all amenities
The villa was beautiful with so much entertainment for the kids. The use of toys such as cars, play area was amazing and the pool was really beautiful! As a whole the villa was beautiful. Quite a drive away from the main city and beaches, but it was absolutely lovely!
All I was would say is that the pool due to wear and tear had some tile bits in the floor which were a little painful if stepped on.
For improvement, cleanliness needs to be made a little better, as we had to do a lot of cleaning on the bathrooms and kitchen. The villa itself is really big and beautiful, the rooms are great, but the beds were quite disappointing, some mattresses were really quite old, they made so much noise from the springs, and some beds were not comfortable to sleep in. Aesthetically the villa is lovely, a little dated with its decor, but it’s lovely, some white bed linen would be nice to just add a nice touch, as coloured bed sheets don’t look great and can appear old looking.
The pool side in the evening would be even better if there was more lighting, it was very dark outside at night if you wanted to chill by the pool, so some further lighting would be really great.
Other than this the stay was absolutely lovely, the host was really attentive and really lovely! And we would definitely book again at this villa.

Great weekend break
We loved our stay at the Villa Abby, there were ten of us celebrating my husband's birthday.
The villa was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of fridge and freezer space for all our food and drink for the weekend.
The pool area is clean, the beer tap is handy too!
The villa is full of ways to pass the time and we played all of the games available from the mini golf, hoopla, shuffleboard, basketball, table football, jenga and pool.
Hilary, our host was a lovely lady and very helpful.

Hilary was literally only one Whatsapp msg away for the full two weeks! I would specially recommend this villa when going on a holiday with children as the facilities for them are great. As a break from the pool our kids loved the mini golf, electric cars, the trampoline and the small football/soccer pitch. The icing on the cake was of course the beer tap. It's one of those things that you don't realize you need until you have it and man I want to buy one right now :) Thanks again for everything Hilary and co!

Stunning
We stayed in this villa from 9th-11th June for a hen party, there was 23 of us. The villa was stunning, plenty of room, nice and clean and Hilary (the owner) couldn't have been any more helpful.
From day 1 of booking this villa, Hilary was on WhatsApp helping me out with everything! Payment, booking cabs, advising me with anything I needed help with. Whilst we stayed there Hilary helped us so much, even to the point that one of the girls had their phone stolen, Hilary printed out paperwork and arranged for a translator to go with our friend to the nearest police station.
The villa was clean, stunning, great pool, beer on tap if you wanted.
I couldn't recommend this villa any more. Not one person has had a bad thing to say at all.
Nearest supermarket was about 10/15 minute drive but we stopped off along the way to the villa.

Great For Groups
22 Ladies for a Hen Weekend this was the perfect place, plenty of room for all, lovely swimming pool and the owner Hilary literally on call for all enquiries and obtaining rides to and from Benidorm which although was a fair distance suited us for 1 night in town. I would certainly recommend this villa for groups wanting to enjoy each others company with enough rooms and space for all.

Fantastic place!
We chose this property based on its location and size. When w arrived we were pleasantly suprised as the photos dont really do this place justice. I must admit being the one to organise the entire family´s summer holiday I was eager to know if Id made the right choice. It was relief. The owner let us in (Hilary) and she was brilliant during our holiday. My daughter hurt her arm and Hilary even came to translate for us at the doctors which was a great help. We had a great time and the villa is even more beautiful than it looks in the advert. Thanks for a lovely stay!
