We were greeted with a very warm welcome. Our room was lovely. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. The pub next door is worth a visit too. Colyton was a very friendly place. Would love to go again.

Colin & Sharon are so welcoming & friendly & the breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are very clean & comfortable.
The shower could be more powerful.
4.6
The people working there were lovely and helpful , breakfast was excellent and location was perfect.
4.6
This is a quirky property with fantastic functional facilities. The two best parts of the stay are the hosts and the bakery. They are exceptional in every way. The food and service are worth the nightly cost alone. Sharon also went out of her way to send back an item I forgot, which is beyond kind. Thank you!
Nothing - it is exceptional!

Clean and tidy, lovely location and a fantastic breakfast!
Tiny bathroom in the smaller room, but the option to use a separate bathroom if needed
4.6
Fantastic breakfasts and hosts.
Good central location for day trips
No complaints, everything was great for our stay

Hosts where fantastic and really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and it was so lovely to see the locals come in and chat with the hosts. Really great value for money when you included the breakfast! Waking up to the small of fresh bread and pastry was lovely.
The room was on the smaller side (still had a double bed though) and the window faced onto a back street so not a great view. The bathroom was small but the shower was good and it did have everything you needed.
4.6
Lovely stay with amazing breakfasts. Helpful, friendly hosts and even had Happy Birthday sung to me and candle on my pancake! Couldn't fault it, many thanks Sharon and Colin

Love the place, a lovely village and lovely room we stayed in.
Nothing it was all lovely, lovely people and great pub next door
4.6
Comfortable room. Brilliant location in a historic and interesting town with wonderful walks on the doorstep and a welcoming pub with good food right next door. The best thing was the wonderful breakfast! So delicious.
Only one minor thing…a privacy/net curtain at the lovely bay window would have made us feel less ‘on show’ but then again, it would be a shame to obscure that beautiful window.

The hosts were lovely, and the friendly vibe in the cafe in the morning was great. Loved the breakfast - the cakes were amazing.
I didn't get to meet the dog, but I respect that dog owners have to do what's best for their dog.
4.6
The bed was so comfy and the shower was a great size. As for the breakfasts, well, they were amazing! Hosts, Sharon and Colin (and Radar the dog!) were so thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble.
4.6
The breakfast menu provided a wide selection of choices, and catered for all tastes.
The hosts were very friendly and they would readily meet their customers needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The wi fi wasn’t always available, but we were warned about this. It seemed to be an issue in the village itself as opposed to the property we were staying in.
4.6
Very welcoming hosts and it was lovely to be in a place with character. We look forward to our next visit. The village is delightful. They were happy to give us an early breakfast one morning when we needed it. Everything is freshly baked.
You might be lucky to park outside but you will probably have to use the village car park but it is only a few houses away. This is NO fault of the hosts!

Lovely breakfast, various options available
4.6
the warm welcome, hospitality and location
the en suite is compact but functional, not a fan of the tiny sinks over the loo but that is just personal choice. would have liked another mirror either in the dresser.

Colin and Sharon were great hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and for me, being a lone traveller, that was important. Their B&B is fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely go back if I was in that area again.

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Good location in a delightful village.Very tasty cooked breakfast and a lovely bake from the selection of baked goods
I knew when I booked that the room would be quite small so wasn,t surprised at the compactness and it was only for one person so OK

Communication with hosts was amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted with Sharon and she was super helpful, ready to advise on dinner reservations, where best to visit during the day, and generally helpful with the accommodation. I briefly mentioned an allergy and next morning at breakfast we were presented with an allergy friendly baked good which was impeccable, along with a cooked breakfast made up of local and handmade produce. The room itself was quirky and boutiquey, and was really what we were after. All in all, a perfect long weekend. Great facilities, great accommodation and great hosts. 10/10

Charming hosts, amazing value for money and wonderful breakfast.
Perfect as it was
4.6
Really homely place, good choice of breakfasts with croissants they bake themselves which are out of this world.lovely down to earth owners, very accommodating.
Colour schemes not our preference and bedroom would benefit from blinds rather than curtains
4.6
Great village setting although very noisy with local farm traffic early in the morning.
Hosts were absolutely amazing as was breakfast, cooked by Colin.
Not the hosts fault but the early morning farm traffic was an unwelcome early wake up.
4.6
Great decoration and a really quaint bakery. Fabulous range of breakfast food, with nothing too much trouble from the genuinely connected, attentive owners.
Good location in an interesting historical town.
A definite return for us sometime in the future.
Nothing to dislike at all for us.
