Our Stay
Wonderful stay, superb location, very clean and comfortable, will certainly look to return. Only very minor criticism is the parking space as it is on grass can be muddy when wet but that does not detract.

Great location
Great location providing an excellent base for some great walks. Very clean and comfortable. (Doesn't have a DVD player)

Worth a visit .
Nice and cosy once we found the thermostat and moved it up a few degrees from 15 where it was set . Location is super , just a shame about the building works to front and right of the Beehive . Views elsewhere are lovely . Would be helpful to have a side table downstairs for drinks etc. and a second chair upstairs so the view from indoors on a colder day can be enjoyed by two people together . We really enjoyed our break and fortunately we were gifted vouchers as we found it a little expensive for a 3 night stay .

Relax and unwind
Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable, providing everything a couple could need for a relaxing stay. Not far from amenities and a short stroll to the beach.
Only criticism......need new pillows on the bed!!!

Great bolt hole
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the Beehive. The location is superb, ultra quiet but easy walk to shop, pubs beach etc.
The accommodation is excellent, very cosy and comfortable, perfect for a couple.
Would highly recommend and will try and re book ourselves soon.

A great place for relaxation and comfort
Had a lovely stay at The Beehive in February. Felt instantly at home, It was comfy, clean, warm and has lovely views over the little river. Lovely to see the ducks, geese and other birds from upstairs and downstairs. At night it was great to be able to view the sky and stars without the usual light pollution. Only 5 mins walk from the sand dunes over the golf course and lots of pubs in walking distance as well as the beach cafe. Bed was comfortable and there was everything there you needed. The kitchen equipment is good quality and it was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen. It was nice to be left wine, biscuits and milk. The only draw back for us was that there was only a net curtain across the double door downstairs and we would have preferred a curtain to proved privacy when it was dark. This is probably not much of a problem in summer when the nights are light though. Definitely hope to be back, but can see that it gets booked up well in advance!!!

Nice place
The Beehive was very warm and comfortable, nicely decorated and in a great location. However, the shower seemed a bit tired and didn’t drain properly, the plug in the hand basin didn’t seal, and the curtain over the front door is see-through, so not very private in the evenings with lights on. We enjoyed our stay, just some simple maintenance in the bathroom would have made all the difference.

A gem of a place
The Beehive was the perfect place to stay for our first trip of 2022. The location was excellent close to all our favourite areas of the North Norfolk coastline.
The accommodation is set in a quite relaxing part of Old Hunstanton easy to find and once we stepped through the door we knew we would be very happy staying here. It was spotless cosy and very comfortable.
Enjoyed so much we booked for a return visit

The beehive
Great location, near beach. Perfect for a relaxing break with long walks and access to a few local pubs that do good food and customer service. A good hourly bus service during the day to Kings Lynn and Wells next the sea. Property is highly recommended for couples break who want to relax.

as good as it looks
Spacious, well-equipped accommodation.
Having a wc on both floors is good. Loved the large windows. On one afternoon we even used the bedroom as a lounge as it boasts a wide panorama. Coast, countryside, villages all on the doorstep. Local shop 10 mins walk. Tesco 5 mins drive. First class location.

Lovely holiday accommodation
A great place to stay with a comfortable bed. The tap in the bathroom needs adjusting / replacing as it is too stiff for easy use, but otherwise the property is well equipped
The location is good -close to the beach allowing walks along the coast or into Hunstanton. The stream and the duckpond outside the house is an attractive feature.

Peace and relaxation.
My husband and I stayed at The Beehive for a weekend to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more. The location is ideal: close enough to walk to the beach easily, but also to walk to a local shop and at least one pub serving meals. We were very lucky with the weather, and sitting on the balcony or by the stream in the sun listening to the sound of the water was so relaxing and peaceful, though, it was tempting to just stay put. The accommodation is so attractive, well maintained, and equipped we could have just stayed in and fed ourselves. We met the owners, who were very friendly and had made us feel most welcome by leaving milk, shortbread biscuits and even a bottle of wine. We’d love to stay again, if only we could find a vacancy, but we can certainly understand why it’s so popular.

Beautiful property, great location
Great short break, walking distance to the beach and pubs, navigated by the stars on our way home! Comfortable well furnished property, everything we needed, even a visiting kingfisher.

The Beehive
We had a fabulous stay. What an idyllic location yet only 500m from the beach. A perfect place to relax in but easy to reach out from if you want to go exploring. We would definitely stay again but it’s already booked up for 2022.

Sandy
Excellent stay in beautiful property with perfect access to the beach and surrounding walks. Lovely outlook from bedroom balcony.
Only two very minor things which might make the property perfect.. larger bath towels for the"larger" person and the glass balustrade on balcony could have been cleaned
The host and hostess were very accommodating and helpful
We have booked again for next year.
Thank you.

Thrilled, but with one minor gripe
We really enjoyed our stay here. We'd come again, and that is surely the best test as to whether we enjoyed ourselves or not.
We had just one minor suggestion for improvement.
The velux widows upstairs definitely need blinds. One of them is directly above the bed, and even in September the daylight streams in through it long before the average holidaymaker wants to be awake.

Great location for coastal walking and evening walks to the beach
It overlooks a babbling brook and a small lake viewed from the balcony.
Well thought out design and layout inside.
Nice specification
Found it a relaxing location on the periphery of Old Hunstanton.
Handy for exploring North Norfolk.

Perfect holiday home for 2
This house is very comfortable for a couple and is in a lovely location with views over the fields. It is also so easy to walk to the beach over the golf course. The owners live next door and are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We have just re -booked for next summer which says it all.
