There were bedbugs!

Unfortunately we found bedbugs in the bed of our room after we arrived. The property owner/manager was cooperative and we received a full refund, but I can’t recommend staying there until this problem is fully resolved.

Un sejur prea scurt

Atmosfera si amabiltatea propietarilor au fost un plus peste verdeata, racoarea si linistea din jur.

Montajul agregatului exterior de la aerul conditionat ar trebui regandit, transmite vibratiile si zgomotul in structura casutei. Ar fi mers niste fotoli/scaune mai comode in veranda, e pacat sa nu poti sta prea mult afara.

אירוח נפלא, אנשים נחמדים שנמצאים לכל צורך. יש חנות נחמדה בעיר לקניית מצרכים, מקרר בביקתה. מים חמים, ומצעים נקיים. ביקתה נעימה לעצירה בדרך למנוחה, הרגשה טובה של פרטיות

אין כל כך גישה נוחה לרדת לאגם אלא רק בנסיעה. עדיין שווה את זה אם מחפשים מקום להניח את הראש

Gut, aber etwas teuer

Ruhige Lage. Nettes Personal. Keine extra Kosten für Mitnahme vom Hund. Zwei sehr nette Nachbarshunde (schwarz mit rotem Halsband) die immer vor Ort sind. Aber in dem Anwesen war auch ein großer grau gemusterter Strassenhund, der unseren Hund angefallen hat. Das Personal hat ihn mit einem Teppichklopfer verscheucht (er hat auf Rufe nicht reagiert) aber es war erschreckend.

Parkplatz kostet extra (6€). Laut booking sollte die Nacht regulär 141€ kosten, nach Abzug einiger Rabatte hat es 67€ gekostet. Das ist trotzdem noch ein hoher Preis. Das Bad hatte nur ein Duschwaschbecken.

Nice stay on Valea Doftanei with friends

The stay at Căsuțele Doftanei was very nice. The staff was very careful and called before to see what time we arrive. They were very kind and facilitated having 3 little houses one next to the other since we were traveling with a group of friends. The surroundings are really beautiful and it's very nice especially if you are travelling with children. I would definitely recommend for 1-2 nights. We also had dinner prepared by the hosts.

The portions of the food could be better adjusted to their economic value.

Cozy rustic place !!

Host was very nice. Location an the view from the property is amazing. Cozy small houses make fill you like you are back in childhood!!

The fact that they don t have rules for the guests, as i have seen in other reviews and it happened to me if some guests play loud music until very late in the evening nobody from the guesthouse does nothing. The location is not registered at the Ministry of Tourism so there are two inconviniences: they function illegally and you cannot use the invoice in the registry of your business.

Superb

The location is beautiful and the green courtyard was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were very welcoming and eager to help with everything we needed.

At the location, they are still working on improving the facilities, which is good. But there were people working and using their power tools Sunday at the early hours of the morning, making a lot of noise. Hopefully once the work is finished we can come back and enjoy the peace and quiet there.

Breakfast for 2 and 4 cups of coffee with milk was 120ron ( almost 25 euro). Expensive for what property offers.

The location was very nice The host was excellent The room was clean We had a fire camp

They had a rooster that started to make noise at 4-5 am and only stops at 11am-12pm so i came back very tired. Even if it was clean, the price was a bit to high for the given conditions but again it was full everywhere so...

Good

The property is generally very nice and comfortable. The price/quality ratio is fair and the photos presented on the website are accurate. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, they helped us prepare the barbeque (we had to pay an extra fee for it) and we even had a bonfire organized during an evening. The rooms are designed in a vintage cosy style, appropriate for a property located in the mountains. The living room is large and it's the perfect place where to dance, party, listen to music (there is a piano also) and play board games.

The bathrooms are not equipped with shower or bath and this represents a disadvantage as the shower is basically connected to the sink and there is not a proper cabin. The overall temperature in the property (bedrooms) was alright, though the living room and kitchen where we spent most of the time were rather cold. The fact that the kitchen is located in a separate building from the bedrooms and living room is another disadvantage. It can be quite uncomfortable to walk from one building to another.
