Tutto quasi perfetto; stanza, colazione, gentilezza dello staff e rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero elevatissimo

Bar menu very pricey.
Breakfast fried food was cold not helped by no heated plates.

Location, food
We had 2 rooms that didn't have windows that could open and no mechanical ventilation either. The rooms were fairly small as well. Some of the lights didn't work (same in both rooms).

The hotel was clean, the room was big enough for my family and the views were amazing. Wifi worked perfectly and it was easy to park outside. All worked well in the room and the corridors were clean.
The staff was not very friendly or available. The bar/cafe service was very slow. I had an allergic reaction to some food that I ate in the restaurant and the staff did not help at all. They told us that they did not have first aid kit.

wonderful service and prime location overlooking the mountains. would highly recommend
the only slight issue was that the rooms were quite warm and there was no AC. I understand it’s more of a winter hotel and it may have been unusually warm when we were there, but it did feel a bit too warm during the night. we had to keep the balcony door open so we could sleep.

Everything. Great location, great hotel, excellent staff. I should stay more. It is a lovely part of Spain and a great location. Nothing to complain about except from lack of time.
I was there for only a couple of days, I should stay more. It is a lovely part of Spain and a great location. Nothing to complain about except from lack of time.

The breakfast was fantastic, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed
It was 30C and there was no air con. Our room faced west with only a small window so it was stifling hot. The spa had a small indoor pool that was about 45C. I was finally told that we could use the community pool for free. The room didn’t cool down overnight. The restaurant and bar was also very warm. Great for a winter ski holiday, not in July. Ruined our treat of a night in a hotel instead of tenting while long distance hiking.

The Location around the hotel. Bar staff were very friendly. Food was good at the in house restaurant.
Not worth the money as a 4 star hotel. No pool in or at hotel. You have to walk down the road to the public pool. No gym. Room was ok, but needed updating (shower had no pressure). Breakfast was basic, and nothing to talk about.

Room and breakfast was nice, but staff was so bad.
Staff was absolutelly horrible, due to extreme weather when there was 30cm of new snow that night we got stuck (it was 1st of April who would have said) and we couldnt make it to the hotel, so we called them, if they can send transport/taxi for us as its pretty big 4 star hotel. No nothing, we were forced to stay somewhere else, but I called the hotel if its possible to maybe cancel one night at least for 1 room, since we had two rooms, they said they will try, but have to make it in the morning, next day we came in the morning and were told it was taken care off and we will only pay one night, our check in card said the same, but at check out we were forced to pay for both nights and staff denied everything and manager was extremely rude, I will never visit this hotel as this behaviour is just not ok, if you promise something and than change your mind its the worst, also they charge 25 Euros for their SPA, just for swimming pool and jacuzzi and 25 Euros per hour, This hotel is run by scammers, stay away or your vacation will be spoiled like our was, there are many more better hotels in Formigal.

The spa facilities which include swimming pool is not inclusive and at a cost of €25 per adult and €15 per child for an hour! we chose this hotel on the basis that we could use the pool as an inclusive package.
The reception staff did not explain the requirements for our stay with regards to skiing at all when checking in and at the check out process we were not asked about our stay at all.

location was great in the middle of town and the ski bus was perfect and made the trip really easy.
breakfast was brilliant, loads of choice and good quality food.
Bedrooms starting ti be a bit dated especially given the price point of the property, also they are exceptionally hot even when heating turned off…seems hard to maintain a decent temperature.
Also, it appears the default is to provide twin beds rather than doubles, the service regarding the request to change to a double bed was below par for a 4 star hotel-being told its well know in the hospitality sector that twin beds is standard unless double requested seems ridiculous….I have travelled a lot for work and double beds are always standard…possibly this is a Spanish thing? but my boyfriend who works in hotels in Spain also found this ridiculous. no room upgrade options were provided -however after checking on booking.com, upgrades were available but they lost the opportunity to offer these either to pay for it or a free upgrade. there are apparently only 4 double bedrooms on each floor-so the chances of couples staying at this 4* resort to stay in the same bed are thin!

the bar area was lovely and the staff were friendly.
We had half board and did not think the standard of the food was very good. also the TV kept turning on in the night with news flashes so we slept terribly.
