Experience the splendor of Kentucky Lake at The Chateau Relaxo, specifically designed to provide comfort, luxury, and outdoor entertainment for multiple families and groups of friends. The house features a magnificent large porch with a dining table and seating for eight. It is furnished with a cozy couch, two chairs, and a coffee table. To enhance your comfort, two fans are mounted on the porch, ensuring a pleasant breeze. Additionally, there are two 11'x14' side patios—one equipped with a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and the other adorned with two comfortable lounge chairs. We provide charcoal, and lighter fluid for your convenience. We offer complimentary firewood for the fire pit, conveniently stored in a wood holder near the house, perfect for enjoying a cozy fire or making delicious s'mores and hotdogs. Cornhole boards are also provided for your entertainment.

The Chateau Relaxo is conveniently situated just 1/10th of a mile from Moors Resort. You can easily walk or take a golf cart ride to various attractions such as a restaurant, bar, marina, boat docks, and beach area. If desired, you can rent our 4-seater golf cart for an additional fee (details available upon request). Ample parking space is available for both vehicles and boats.
As you enter the open-concept layout, you'll find a fully furnished kitchen complete with a kitchen table seating six, plus two stools at the island. The living room features a 70" smart TV for your enjoyment. A half bath. Two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms are located downstairs, with the master bedroom boasting a custom shower. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms—one with 4 full-size beds and the other with two king-size beds. Each room has its own bathroom. The balcony upstairs is an ideal spot for reading or sitting at the bar playing board games. All four bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs. Additionally, each bedroom has its own Mitsubishi wall-mounted air conditioning unit, allowing guests to control the temperature to their liking.
The Chateau Relaxo comfortably accommodates up to 16 people. There is a 100 sq ft closet upstairs for storing items out of the way, furnished with a full-size bed and an additional full-size mattress that can be relocated as needed.
For your convenience, we have deadbolt locks that make check-in easy. A unique code will be generated for each booking, ensuring security.
Clean sheets and pillowcases are provided for each bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential appliances, including a crockpot, toaster, blender, coffee maker, Keurig machine with K-Cups, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. We also provide a washer and dryer, along with laundry detergent, an iron, and an ironing board. Additionally, you will find a supply of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryers. Dishwashing liquid and trash bags are also provided.
Please note that our property does not have a dock or private access to the lake. However, Moors Marina, a full-service facility, is conveniently located just 1/10th of a mile away, allowing easy access to all your boating and water-related activities. You can reach the marina, beach, and other amenities within a short walk.

Walking distance to marina and resort. Very cute neighborhood, great for running or walking. The golf carts are a big thing there, so renting it is fun. Very friendly community. The house accommodated our 3 families just fine because it is well laid out. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay at Chateau Relaxo! The accommodations were perfect for our group of various ages. The covered patio and fire pit area were our group’s favorite gathering spots, and the kids loved the tree swing. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owner was responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

There were 10 of us, 2 men and 8 women all over 65 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were perfect. I will recommend this house to any large group.

We used this property as location to meet with friends over the New Year. The home was roomy with plenty of space for 8 children and 4 adults (ages 11-19). Bedrooms and baths were very clean. Property manager was helpful and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place, especially during the summer. The lake and boat docks are convenient. A living room fireplace for winter guests would have made it even cozier, but the Christmas tree in the living room was a nice touch.

Plenty of room and open floor plan and good for large group. Kitchen was well stocked. House is updated and the outside porch area is great for night cards. Great TV/Sitting area. Walkable to Moors Marina where we rented a boat and Ralph’s Bar which was fun.

Wonderful place to stay. Works well with my 15 adults staying on the property. Ample parking and walking distance to the Moors Marina. Could use a second fridge but a GREAT place to stay!! We’ll be back next year!!

We were in town for our family’s annual reunion at another property a block away so we didn’t cook meals at the Chateau. The property had everything our family needed - plenty of very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and multiple common areas for four families. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and quiet enough for the littles to nap. We paid for the use of the golf cart which was on the property - so convenient! It is on the street to Moors so it can be a bit noisy but nothing we didn’t expect. It didn’t deter us from using the patio which we loved! We would definitely like to come back!

Beds were comfortable, house was beautifully decorated with new furniture, was clean, well-stocked with kitchen appliances & utensils & Moors Marina was within walking distance! The house was very well stocked, had an awesome patio, and the common spaces were very comfortable. The location to the marina was ideal if you wanted to boat. The house was very clean, lots of beds for a large group and plenty of linens. This house was just fantastic, I highly recommend it!

Our stay was fantastic! The home is beautiful and feels so welcoming. We had the best time and literally did not want to leave. The house was exceptionally clean and so spacious. The owner, Carolyn was so quick to respond to any questions and messages and made the experience great. We will definitely be looking forward to staying at the Chateau again!

This was the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving gathering! Very clean, comfortable beds, and each room has its own bathroom! Carolyn was so friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home. The short walk down the street to the playground and lake for fishing was great for the kids. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Chateau Relaxo! Ample bedroom space! Walking distance to the marina and local restaurant. They have a golf cart available for rent but most of us ladies enjoyed walking so we didn't use it. The front porch area is simply amazing!!! We had dinner there every night as the weather was perfect. We did question the chainsaw running next door after dark, but the nice neighbor explained to us what he was doing. The property next door really didn't fit the area (grown up weeds and lots of "stuff" sitting around) but it really didn't bother us. Internet wasn't strong enough to operate the TV which was a disappointment as we wanted music. We will bring a speaker and use a phone next time. All in all it was a great choice for our group of eight ladies!

It was located within walking distance to the boat ramps, we spent the weekend boating on Kentucky Lake. The parking area at the house had enough room for each family’s boat (3). The house is just as the pictures show, check in was very easy, the house very clean.

This is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in for our annual family vacation. Extremely clean, and stocked with just about anything you would need. They even included things like screw drivers , batteries, and the kitchen was stocked like it was your very own home. The owner checked on us to see if we had any question. If we had a question she got back to us immediately. Highly recommend this Home.

The home is beautiful and perfect for multiple families. It was well stocked, but another cookie sheet would be helpful. We made it work and this is definitely not a deal breaker, lol! We came for my parent’s 50th anniversary and had the best time. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to use your beautiful home.

Carolyn is the ultimate hostess. Responds to emails within minutes. The details and extra amenities provided are testament to her love of sharing her home with guests. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with those extra little things you left at home. I love that it had a ‘junk drawer’ just like at home. We needed tape, scissors, etc! There were even birthday candles in case you need to celebrate! The outdoor patio was our favorite. Nice furniture and plenty of it. Firewood and charcoal were provided. Rent her golf cart—- you’ll be glad you did if you plan to go to the marina. We had 13 people and were very comfortable. The bonus bedroom was terrific for a teenager. Beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Carolyn was very accommodating and provides a beautiful venue with all the extras...and then some. She accommodated an early check-in, was attentive to our experience throughout the time and flexible with making arrangements work. We will. definitely stay again, when regathering. So many extras to make it easy and comfortable. All of the furnishings and touches were wonderful as well!

We enjoyed a relaxing time with our adult children and granddaughter. Everything was in great condition and the owner was very helpful with everything. It was the perfect place to host a few extended family members that had not not met their niece/cousin yet because of Covid. We had them come for a meal and short visit Friday. Our children and granddaughter enjoyed walking to the lake. The porch and swing were some of our favorite parts!
