About this house rental

If you are looking for a sweet, comfortable and clean home for your stay while visiting our beaches or other Calvert County attractions, look no further, we fully renovated this home just for you! Our 3 bedroom, 1 bath home accommodates 6 with a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room and dining area, with a back porch to sit and listen to the sounds of our small beach community or grill your catch of the day on the side porch. We are walking distance to the many restaurants, the beach and boardwalk, and we are only 5 minutes away from Chesapeake Beach and their amenities! Whether you are here to attend a wedding, visit family, take a winery tour (we have 5 in our county alone), come stay with us and check out the charm of Calvert County! And remember, we are only 30 minutes outside Annapolis and 45 minutes outside of DC so you can have a very peaceful stay and still visit Maryland's Capitol and our Nation's Capitol both!

The house is lovely and super clean. The location is nice with regard to North Beach, but there is not a lot to do in the area. The water park is completely shut down, and the beach is very small. We ventured into Deale several times for food and views of the marinas. All in all we had a relaxing little getaway.

My sis & I absolutely loved the location & how we were able to walk everywhere instead of driving . The cute little beach town had everything we needed. The house was exactly how it looked online . A very quiet safe neighborhood.

Clean and great house! My only changes would be it needs better pillows and if scent free laundry soap could be used. Allergies to scented soap. Have it 5. Because I loved the house!

We were visiting our son in Annapolis and came across this property in VRBO. While a bit of a drive from Annapolis it looked great. Communication with with our host Tacy was great and fast. The property is amazing and beautiful and immaculately clean. Everything was so nice and comfortable, there is parking in the driveway. The area is also very nice with a boardwalk and restaurants and coffeeshops, and very nice and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Tacy!

Our stay was short and sweet to attend a family wedding. This was the first VRBO house that we’ve stayed in that didn’t provide soap and shampoo in the bathroom and cooking necessities like oil and seasoning such as pepper. Otherwise the stay was delightful and uneventful.

Lovely Cottage with all the amenities of home in a quaint little beach town. Sweet Bamboo lived up to its description as a cottage and a beachy neighborhood. We walked everywhere except the Railroad Museum which was a less than 10 minute ride. The Saturday morning Farmer's Market has a bonus playground. We're hoping to return next year!

We had a smooth stay while in town celebrating with family for our niece’s graduation. Just needed a place to sleep and shower. Spent most of our time two blocks up at a house my sister rented for the family gathering. Cozy comfortable place to unwind at the end of the night. Better than a hotel!

We rented this home specifically because it was near DC and we wanted to visit our daughter who was still in school at AU, plus have our other 2 adult children with us, and our dog :) This lovely home did not disappoint! Check in was easy, it was clean, dog friendly with the front yard and back yard fenced in. The master bedroom has a deck access, and that was a great place to read and just be outside. There was plenty of cookware, and we cooked most of our meals there. What we all really appreciated was being able to walk to the boardwalk from the house. Every day we took several walks and discovered new things in town. What came as a pleasant surprise, was the openness and friendliness of the people there. Especially with a dog, we met so many people who just stopped to chat, pet our dog, let our dog meet theirs, etc. It was lovely. The kids enjoyed time on the beach, and time to poke their heads in a few shops and The Bakist for coffee. All in all, a wonderful place, with very accommodating hosts!

Perfect spot for the two of us and our pups! Walking distance to restaurants, the boardwalk and beach. House is immaculate and as silly as it sounds we loved the calming sounds of the wind chimes.

I recently stayed at this property as I was preparing for my wedding. The property looks like the pictures and was fairly clean. There were a couple things that didn’t cause me to give it 5 stars. One was that the neighbor was very irate with my bridal party that came over one night to have pizza and wings with me before the big day. It was very off-putting and I became more worried about getting kicked out for someone who was only there an hour to help me. Other than that, my husband and I were able to return to the home the night of the wedding with no issues.

My husband, son, sister, and I rented this house for the weekend for a wedding and baby shower in Calvert County. The house is so conveniently located to restaurants, a cute coffee shop, the beach, and stores. We walked to explore and our son got to go to the beach. The home was cutely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed for our quick weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great first experience using Vrbo! The house was very clean and made us feel comfortable. The only issue we had (and was out of the owner's control) was the neighbors were VERY nosy. They would walk down the street and stare into the driveway where we were or just watch us when we were outside.

This property is super cute, clean, and comfortable! Tacy did an amazing job of communicating with me and responded to messages right away. The house is adorable and is only a few blocks from the beach and pier, which our family enjoyed walking to each day. I would definitely stay here again if we come to North Beach! This was a get away for my 2 friends and myself. This property met our needs “to a T”! We were all impressed with the decor, the cleanliness of the house, the instructions, and the location. We were very pleased with the comfort of the home as well. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants and shops. The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet.

My sisters and I stayed at the Bamboo cottage it was very clean and the property was l wonderful. The location was not what we expected it to be. There was not a lot of shops and after arriving we read an article about swimming there and decided that may not be a good idea. The restaurants were very good with the exception of one. We would recommend the Hook and Vine. I would not recommend Neptunes Seafood Restaurant. The food was not good and the service and management were worse.

Spent 2 months in this sweet little house just a few blocks from the beach. Would really like to come back during the summer instead of our winter stay to better enjoy the lovely yard. Easy walk to boardwalk and some decent restaurants and short drive to several more. Decent tv streaming packages and our dog was happy here.
