approachable staff. the caravan was clean and had basic amenities. The picture of the cabin advert is a true reflection of the site.
Although the caravan was clean, it was full smell of cigarette smoke. The owner apologised for the inconvenience caused as this was done by the previous lodger who also had broken the oven door handle and the WiFi router.

Very affordable and very good place
Far away from lake District

The location was outstanding and easy to find.
Caravan was well equipped.
Walking distance to both Millom and Haverigg.
Weather was glorious and we enjoyed our stay.
Not enough power points in the caravan. Shower door didn't close properly so the floor got very wet.
It was a shame there were no chairs available to allow us to sit outside.
Would have been nice if there was some information on local amenities, attractions, and things to do in the area provided in the caravan. We left some for future guests.

Excellent friendly communication.
Peaceful lakeside location.
Beautiful spacious, clean, comfy caravan with every thing you could need.WI FI and good heating, very quiet at night and comfy beds make it a relaxing holiday in the most scenic location with the mountainous lake district in view and the Lake too with the beach a short walk away. One of the best caravans we 've stayed in.

The caravan was spacious and well set out, lovely view of the lagoon and well equipped for glasses, cups, utensils etc, great location on the site .
The internet is very slow, although wasn't much of an issue, the single toilet has a leak from the base, and when we arrived there was mould in the shower, so went the shop to buy some bleach and left it to soak before cleaning it off and most of it has gone now.

Caravan in Port Haverigg was very good location for Lake District attraction.
Scaffell Pike, Mickleden Valley, Cathedral Cave, Ambleside, Windermere, Coniston Water, Laurel and Hardy town - Ulverston and many more.

location and the beds were comfortable
there was no number or name on the caravan and there is no reception to ask , so took me ages to find the caravan and I was asking strangers and then when I thought I had found it the pin on the door in which I was sent was wrong and I could not get in I had to ring the owners and they gave me a different pin code .

the beds were comfy and the lay out of the caravan was nice
the kitchen utensils pots and pans were all dirty and a lot of it all needs replacing. all the wine glasses were smashed and the kitchen needed a good clean.

The caravan we stayed in was spotless and comfortable.
The location was beautiful and peaceful.
One minor issue was the steps to the caravan door was a bit wobbly.

Could do with more electric sockets

The views were fantastic, a lovely site, with plenty of walks .
Mattresses a little too soft and not many plug sockets in the bedrooms, but other than that fabulous.

All good

The unit is simple yet very practical. Quietness and the tranquility of the area in the evening! Near by the lake was a big bonus!
There was a dried up stain on the carpet. Unit numbering was a bit confusing. better if there’s a streets name.

We had a lovely stay in the caravan. There were good local facilities (ice cream place and Ski Bar). The caravan had everything we needed in it. We took own towels but it was specified in the message before arrival due to the virus. We bought hand soap in the local Tesco. Thanks so much for quickly sorting the broken tap. We are planning to visit you again.
Nothing to dislike.

Site was lovely
Property wasnt cleaned when we arrived at an agreed time. Owner soon sent cleaners round but property would benefit from a deep clean and some tlc, few maintenance issues and would also benefit from some garden furniture.

Caravan was clean and comfortable. The holiday park is in a lovely peaceful location with many beautiful walks and a nice beach nearby.

It's a good starting point for trips to Lake District if you have a car. The caravan felt bigger than we expected and was quite comfortable. There's a playground in the caravan village.
I don't mind being in a relatively small caravan with my family, however, there were too many caravans around which are quite close to each other. So, instead of the promised sea and mountain views, we could only see other caravans and just a small bit of the lagoon from the window. There was also no place to sit outside, next to the caravan. In the bedrooms, we missed some more shelves and drawers for clothes and stuff. Finally, connecting to WiFi was quite tricky (especially for the first time).
3.5
Location good, access to the lake is free for our paddleboarding if staying on park.
Delicious ice cream van round the corner.
Boys liked the PS3, but no other board games as suggested on booking.com
We were not provided with any towels!
The TV only works on WiFi so it buffered every 5 seconds.
You could do with some coat hooks or stand.
Take a double adapter, not many sockets.

We loved everything else, the van, location, all great except for the TV.
The TV would not work,
So no music in the evening , as this was our only device we had for music it spoilt our holiday.
