About this house rental

Spectacular four bedroom pool home, just off the Inter coastal Water Way. This custom home features open floor plans and high end finishes. The main floor has high ceilings and wood floors. The kitchen has granite counter tops and Bosch appliances including a gas range. The dining area seats 6 and an additional dining area outside on the balcony overlooking the pool seats 8. Living room has large screen TV and 3 more TVs are in the bedrooms. The master suite has large balcony overlooking the pool and a large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower. The backyard is a tropical paradise. Private salt water pool and spa and an outdoor shower. The deep water dock has direct access to the ICW. There is even a small dog run under the house! The beach access is just a two minute golf cart ride away for your enjoyment on our quiet, sugar sand beach. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit.
Pet Policy: This home is Pet Friendly home. This means that ONE dog is permitted to stay at the rental. No cats are permitted in any of our properties. Certain aggressive breeds as designated by the State of Florida and outlined in our rental contract are not permitted. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

The home was big. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large family. Nice decor and kitchen area. The dock was perfect for 2 boats and we were able to use the lift. The pool was very large and the kids enjoyed it. I do feel the home could use a deep clean, especially when they allow pets. There were areas of the house that were not clean, but overall, it was fine for the size home that it is. There were plenty of towels and the laundry room area was great. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

The property is wonderful. My family enjoyed the house, pool, and dock. The house was well stocked with laundry and kitchen items. The property manager is responsive and friendly. We’ll be back.

The property had everything we were looking for. Easy access (we rented a golf cart) to the beach. very nice heated pool and hot tub. Great wildlife viewing from the intercoastal dock. We saw Manatees at the dock, couple dolphins, lots of fish, crabs and ospreys eating their catch. The house was well furnished and stocked with basics. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Plus we had beautiful weather while we were there.

Really enjoyed this property - it was quite clean and was beautifully furnished. Everything was high quality. The pool was kept heated (good in January) along with the hot tub. The quiet dock was nice to look for fish swimming or the osprey catching fish. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for many guests.

This is a gorgeous property - immaculately maintained, perfect location for quiet while still an easy idle to ICW, amazing backyard/entertaining space, and pet friendly. Our new favorite rental on Palm Island!

A month next time

We very much enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. Well stocked and great lay out. Very clean. Loved the location. Kitchen has everything. Laundry room makes it nice when staying for an extended amount of time. Golf carts are a must. Boat and kayak rental not necessary.

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location was very close to the beach. The pool was wonderful. And the beds were so comfortable. I'd definitely come back again. Be forewarned there are there are lots of stairs, my calves got a great workout. Only critiques are there was no hammock, like in the picture and I wish there were cushions on the loungers by the pool, the wood isn't very comfortable. Oh and the master bedroom could use some lamps next to the beds. Otherwise, everything was amazing.
