We truly enjoyed our stay in the Garden Holiday Cottage. The house was exceptionally clean and the garden is big and very well kept. The house is in a nice quiet area and we spent a lot of time outside. The communication with the owner Tom was very pleasant, he always answered within only a couple of minutes and was super helpful and courteous. Furthermore, when we wanted to extend our stay, Trident Holiday Homes made the whole process a breeze. Thanks to Tom and Trident Holiday Homes again.

Open fire and back boiler that gave us tons of hot water so we could have a relaxing bath at night time if we wanted. Warm and cosy home. Enclosed garden for the dog. Walking distance to shop and pub. Comfy bed and pillows. Perfect location for great walks and hikes. Really comfy armchair and couch. Lots of logs for the fire. Although it was perfect for the two of us, if we were 3 or 4 people, perhaps another shelf in Kitchen to store food could be handy.

On arrival and on opening the front door, there is an overwhelming fusty smell of damp this emanates from the flat roof in the kitchen and Bathroom damp signs are visible on the ceiling and around the bath sealant. The back door does not open thereby closing off a secondary escape route, there was a note left saying that the door would be repaired that week however it was undated and there are no obvious signs of this work being done. The double bed is very small is it a ¾ bed? There are no wardrobes but there are hanging rails, no drawer units to keep your clothes in. The cleaning equipment is stored in the spare bedroom on the floor. There are very few kitchen units, where the glasses are kept was covered in cobwebs. There was 1 Wine glass, 1 pint tumbler, 1 440ml tumbler and a couple of small glasses. There is no Microwave. There is no WIFI. There is no guest comment book so there is no indication of where the Supermarkets are in the area, or whether there are any decent restaurants or Bars (none as far as I could see), where there might be walks or places of interest nearby. There were brochures for 2017 and pre pandemic. On the plus side the garden is large. There are also about 8 dogs in the other properties in the street and a couple in the street behind, so if barking dogs day and night is your thing then this is the place for you. This is a very poor location with not a lot in the area it's in the middle of a small country town with a general store and a couple of local pubs. A very poor property highly overpriced. Caveat Emptor!

I had a wonderful stay the cottage itself was both roomy and welcoming. The view was absolutely beautiful and was a very short walk to the store for any necessities. Tom was delightful and very easy to get in touch with. Internet is a must for anyone staying with teenagers like myself.

Great stay
Great stay
The cottage was cosy, great installation. Good value for money. Great communication with the landlord. Breath taking view from the back of the cottage. The Cleaning. Wi-Fi was listed under info but no Wi-Fi was available. That was a little difficult when network was low. A microwave is highly recommended for a self catered accommodation.

The Cottage was Lovely and Clean with all mods and cons available. The scenic location is perfect. If you could include the Ferry or Air Plane Booking with the Cottage and supply Brochures it would be Brilliant.
