L'emplacement dans le centre de Shawi

Le petit déjeuner proposé via des plateaux dans un frigo collectif, ne faisait vraiment envie L'absence totale de contact avec le moindre personnel

Décevant. Plus fatiguée au retour qu'à l'arrivée...

Le petit déjeuner inclus au restaurant en dessous donne beaucoup de choix et est bon. Le décor de la chambre était bien.

Stationnement petit et très mal indiqué (caché derrière la bâtiment) et peu rassurant (dans une ruelle mal éclairée et mal déneigé). Le stationnement n'était pas déneigé et pas d'aide disponible car personne sur place. On me dit de me stationner dans un stationnement public plus loin, mais pas deneigée non plus. J'ai du prendre la chance de me stationner où ce n'était pas permis au risque de me faire remorquer. Chambre mal isolée, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le bâtiment. Serrure extérieure électronique épouvantable. Fonctionne 1 fois sur 2 donc bonne chance pour entrer. Salle de bain lavée à la va vite (résidu de savon et coulisse sur les murs et sur le séchoir). Lit super dure et oreiller trop mou. Manque de sérieux, allez ailleurs.

Schlechte Sicherheit, Sauberkeit, Frühstück

Gute Lage zum Naturschutzgebiet

- nach dem die Putzfrau da war, hat sie vergessen unsere Zimmertür abzuschließen!!! Das bedeutet dass jeder einfach die Klinke runterdrücken konnte und unser Zimmer und unsere Wertsachen den ganzen Tag über ungeschützt waren!!!! Es kam keine vernünftige Entschuldigung - das elektronische Türschloss hat seine Nachteile: als wir abends ankamen funktionierte der Code für unser Zimmer nicht & die Tür blieb verschlossen. Wir mussten die Vermieterin anrufen & sie konnte von zuhause den Code zurücksetzen & uns einen neuen erstellen. Der neue Code klappte dann sofort, aber es kostete uns Nerven, Zeit und teure Roaming-Gebühren fürs Telefonieren, wenn man keine kanadische Telefonnummer hat. - Sauberkeit war nicht gut (Flecken auf der Bettdecke, alte Kaffeekapsel in Maschine) - das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe. Es wird in einer Plastikpackung in einen Kühlschrank auf dem Flur gestellt. Es gibt keinen Kaffee oder Getränke. (Siehe Foto) - die Gasse zum Parken sieht aus, als ob einen gleich jemand ausraubt - man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen und daher kriegt man keine frische Luft - im Zimmer fehlen einige Sachen: Haken für Kleidung/Schrank, Haken fürs Handtuch im WC.

L’emplacement, literie confortable

L’organisation du petit déjeuner à revoir car le plateau dans le frigo n’est jamais installé avant 8h30/9 h, ce qui est embêtant lorsqu’on souhaite profiter de la journée. Il faut aimer le café car c’est la seule boisson proposée. Chambre très sombre, juste une petite fenêtre qui ne s’ouvre pas, impossible d’aérer. Code d’accès aux chambres donné tardivement à 16h par message donc sans accès internet c’est compliqué. Rapport qualité prix vraiment mauvais ( beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations proposées)

Je n’irai plus ,

Bel endroit .

Ça prend un code pour entrée dans l’établissement, et aussi pour entrée dans la chambre , je n’avais pas reçu le code fallu que je reçoive. L’aide d’un bar près de l’établissement pour récupérer ce code . Stationnement très ordinaire , pas reçu ma facture pas de personnel, j’ai appeler le propriétaire pour faire faire la chambre et avoir des serviettes propres C médiocre.

Met my value for money and quality expectations. Perfect for a one night stay.

Location was great, liked the self check in. Hotel was good value. Surprised by breakfast being included. Parking is included.

Faucet in my room was broken - had no handle to turn it on or off. It dripped all night long - which can be heard from the bed. Room too cold upon arrival. Bedspread could have been cleaner (type of material that static/attracts hair).

Great overnight stay for a quick trip to Shawinigan

The room is in the downtown district of Shawinigan, close to many restaurants. The room is quite small, perfect for one night (no closet or drawer space available) The breakfast was great and they accommodated my husband who does not eat eggs by adding a second type of meat.

Coffee maker but no pods in the room. It was very warm in the room even with the A/C on (which is strange for April in Quebec…). No regional item was left for us that was mentioned in other reviews. The shower pressure is intense, a little too much actually LOL!

The beer waiting for us. Easy to find and central in the village. Didn't mind the stairs but be aware - no elevator and steep stairs. You get a code to get into your room so you don't rely on any particular arrival time. Nicely designed rooms... but see below.

The people designing such nice rooms should be forced to sleep there for a few nights to find out what they missed... simple things like hooks to hang your towel or the "reading lights". So the design of the rooms is modern and nice, but as they are they could be much more practical. Breakfast is in the restaurant below, opens only at eight and it took them around 40 minutes to server breakfast for the three couples that arrived at 8. Other than that, breakfast was ok, you get the choice of sausage, bacon or ham together with one egg and toasts (and potatoes). Also please don't set the AC to 18!

Superb

Our Room was very cozy and clean! besides just super close to all facilities (restaurants, depanneur etc). I would for sure recommend this stay! Furthermore our host was just amazing. We had an issue with the code of our door (technical problem) . this was solved just super fast. fast reply , problem immediately solved, amazing!

Nice location! I would go back there in a heartbeat if it weren't for the bed.

The hotel has a very good location. There were lots of restaurants to choose in the neighbourhood. Staff was very polite.

The bed was unfortunately too uncomfortable for my back. Lack of parking.

Overall wouldn’t recommend

The hallway smelled really bad, and the room smelled too strong of bleach. The sheets were ripped and there wasn’t someone we could meet/chat with. The person cleaning the rooms asked what we thought of the cleanliness of the room the minute we walked in, without even a chance to check it out. When I asked her a question about why there were two extra beds in the room, as I booked one bed, she said she didn’t speak English and could t help. The noise level was terrible as we could hear everything happening on the street and in the hallway.

Stylish bedroom. No contact check in. Staff very helpful when we had a problem with the locking the room.

Good looking but a lot of non-functional things. Shower is completely open to the bedroom, with no curtain or anything to cover, a little discomforting. No towel holder anywhere in the bedroom, not even for hand towel inside the washroom. Extremely heavy duvet for July, discomfortable to sleep and also to set room temperature, as the room is quite small and AC air hits you on the head at night.

Very good

Nice modern room, specially chose the one with the shower outside the bathroom just for fun! There was a beer bottle from Trou du Diable microbrewery in the room, but can’t tell if it was free or not, I drank it anyways! Great detail right there ;)

Seems like the cleaning had been done too quickly, there was a meal leftover in the fridge. Other than that, it was great.
