There will be construction in the community from October 2023 through the spring of 2024. There will be noise related to various projects such as roof repair, piling repair, exterior painting, and road repair, but the vacation rental will be accessible at all times.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

The house was as described. The doors for some rooms could use some tightening. The master bathroom shower head should be replaced. There is lots of mold under the silicon calking in this shower. Not all the remotes worked. They should have labels and have working batteries.

Our family has been coming to Sea Colony for the last 3 years and absolutely love it. This place was not up to par. The house is spacious, but the entire place smelled of must. My 4 year old was not able to sleep in the kids room. The smell was stronger in the kids room. The bed/mattresses should be updated. The bed in the main suite creaked everytime you turn. The other mattresses was not comfortable at all.
We also encountered an issue with the dryer. It made a loud screechy sound, therefore we did not use. The pots and pans were filthy.
Guest services was outstanding and they did try and remedy the situation. They sent a small dehumidifier, but unfortunately no help with the smell. They supplied new pots and pans.

In spite of all the craziness with the cable and the absence the some decent cooking utensils, our stay was great and the staff were very accommodating trying to address all the issues.

The Unit was great, but the process of dealing with Vacasa was awkward. They had great difficulty in processing checks, after the initial credit card deposit. I sent all checks to Delaware, but one wound up in Oregon! I'm sure other folks want to use checks instead of paying cc fees.

Nice wooded location
Great quiet wooded location close to fitness center, tennis. and just a short drive to the beach. The house did smell a little musty when you walked in.

Sea Colony is great place that our family has vacationed a few times. Very disappointed with the furnishings and cleanliness of this house. The beds and living room furniture were very uncomfortable.

Quiet and Restful
The property was very clean and the floors were new. It was nice that the "study" was a fully furnished. The 2nd bedroom has a bung bed and a twin. The unit borders on a wooded area which made coffee or wine on the deck a lovely setting. It was a bit of a walk to the tram and pool, but that's the trade off.

Spacious, private, nice and comfortable furnishings. Plenty of linens and towels. Quiet surroundings with lakes. 5 minutes to the beach.

Good for a quiet get away!
This property is very deep into the neighborhood, so getting to the beach is time consuming. But, for tennis, it was pretty good ( a 10 min walk). Property needs a good scrub down, and better lighting in the living room/dining room. But, the screened in porch was nice and it was a quiet location. Pool is close by too.

Poorly kept unit- very bad experience and will never come back. Had high expectations about Wyndham
We rented the place for a family vacation and it was very very disappointing. Fortunately the weather was too good and spend all the time between pool and beach and just went to the unit to sleep.
Old outdated rugs, smelly beds, make noise with any slight movement, fire alarm which kept going on randomly ( 4 times in one week), dusty, old worn out kitchen utensils, porch was dusty with worn out furniture. Worst place we have ever stayed in all the years of vacationing. Would have checked out the next day itself it the weather was bad too. There should be some minimum standards to be followed,,totally disappointing and starting to hate sea colony which we loved for years.

Too many mosquitos and not enough parking spaces. Tub had hair in it from previous renters. Loved the dining room table as it gave plenty of room for all guests. Check in procedures were a little confusing as we got there after 5 and didn’t know what to do. Also the grounds are confusing to navigate. Maybe color the posts in different blocks to make it easier to find where you are going (as it all looked the same in the woods). Overall the house was accommodating for our family.
