Beautiful view, functional, beach-y space. Couch cushions, bedding, and kitchen items could be improved, but overall a very nice space.

Needs a bit updated. Was clean but didn’t feel clean. Kitchen cabinets were peeling. Bathroom tile felt dirty. Furniture needed to be cleaned.
It was ok but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The house was great except the floors were very dirty and you could feel the sand on them. After going barefooted our feet were black. We called for a broom so we could sweep them ourselves. Everything else was clean. It has a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable.

This trip has been a horrible experience. I drove 6+ hours to stay at the Sea colony. After dealing with a rude security guard I was surprised to find out at check in we also needed extra badges for every guest to access the facilities at the resort we booked. This was apparently in the fine print or I would have never considered using your resorts. After crying children due to no access to the pool, and not being to get to my parking spot on other side of 6’ parking garages “ my truck sits to high” I finally was able to check into the room. There is stale popcorn on the floor , coffee cups have rings in them, and the shower head hasn't been cleaned since this place was built.
I am very dissatisfied to this point. Myself and children were thrown off the private beach we booked without our extra 55$ badges

This property was filthy. The location and amenities were fine. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere if you plan to use the living room furniture.

Is a nice rental as advertised in a great location with excellent amenities. The ocean view was fantastic.

Beautiful place, nice decor, very clean, felt like home. Right on the beach and easy parking below unit. Ample amenities available, taking the location to a step above. Minutes drive the Bethany Beach boardwalk. Loved our stay and would definitely return!

For what we paid, this place was great value for our 3 day weekend. View is great, deck chairs are nice and sturdy, and bed is super comfortable. Overall pretty good kitchen and bathrooms. The Sea Colony amenities of tennis, gym, pool, hot tub, and private beach access were great. Very few people in the building in April made it very peaceful.
That said, the place could use some updating including some of the furniture, and strangely laid out. Kitchen wares were disorganized and lacking a few minor things. We’d come back though.

The Sea Colony condo felt right at home. Very clean and well decorated with all the amenities. Close to great eateries and easy to walk into town. The bed, furniture, and fixures were modern and very comfortable. We would definitely consider this unit for future travel.

I did not love the condo owner coming around to check on the condo while we were there.

First stay in Bethany Beach. Property has nice sea view, was clean and comfortable. Washer & dryer was not available also no broom, mop, etc.. Only item for any clean up was a role of paper towels. Lucky we had no spills. Enjoyed the stay!

The beds were very comfortable. There were however several other issues that were unfavorable. Please contact me for further details.

Loved this place. Close to the beach. It was really cute and clean with a nice balcony to sit and look out at the ocean. Liked that it has a washer and dryer too.

We enjoyed the amenities of Sea Colony. The condo was very clean and decently equipped. Was short a blanket and the twin sleeper needs a minor repair. It’s a small space but we knew that coming in. Loved being on beach side to enjoy views and ease of accessing the beach. We would go back for a short trip but for a longer trip our family of four would need a bit more space. It was hard to access balcony of kids still sleeping in the sofa beds.

Chesapeake 209C needs deep cleaning
This property is not worthy of a review. Sea Colony does a beautiful job of upkeep - buildings and landscape HOWEVER it is degraded because owners are not keeping up their property.
Our unit had a filthy BR carpet , nasty mold on shower heads and bathroom floor as well as on the kitchen sink water nozzle. The coffee coffee pot was a different manufacturer from the percolator and didn’t fit properly. I wish we could attach pictures to show just how nasty they were.
The furniture was decent except porch table and chairs which were rusty.

Loved our stay. It was too short. I do wish we were given a heads up to bring beach stuff. Advice if you are driving there bring your own chairs towels coolers etc. for the beach. Bethany center is awesome. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Lovely clean condo. Absolutely wonderful. Will try to come back.

VERY NICE LOCATION........
What we really enjoyed the most was the location - 2nd floor, facing the beach. The balcony is also very nice. It's towards the end of the season so we understand some of the minor cosmetic things that need taken care of. Overall, it was very nice for just the two of us.

Great Location!
Loved the location, could see and hear the ocean from our balcony. The unit was very clean. The one complaint we had was there is no where to hang your clothes, no hangers or closet, also no ice trays in freezer to make ice! And no can opener.

Cleanliness
The living room and kitchen furniture need to be cleaned. The shower in the master had hair in the shower and the drain. The shower heads in both bathrooms need to be cleaned. The deck furniture was old and needs to be updated.

Weekend Wedding Getaway
My wife and I traveled to Bethany Beach for one of our friends weddings. This was a perfect spot for our long weekend. We enjoyed the room as well as the amenities that came along with the property. Easy beach access and amazing selection of pools to go to. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable in Chesapeake at Sea Colony.
This property was very clean, well maintained, and attractively furnished. Bathrooms and condo were updated. The 2 Bathrooms were outstanding in terms of comfort and there were beautiful tiled showers with inlaid color glass and tile with a light inside the glass shower stall and new shower head. Balcony had a good view of the beach, kitchen very attractive with lots of counter space. Sofas and bed were comfortable. Lighting in bedroom is alittle dark. The only thing missing was a washer / dryer. Parking space was convenient. Check in process with VRBO and Resort Quest was just fair. The person that greeted us couldn't seem more disinterested and barely spoke with us. He said he would send us the code to the door at the condo and never did - so we had to call and therefore got into the condo closer to 4:30 not 4 pm.

Girls getaway
Three of my friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. The condo was very clean and a great location. We ate in every day and were disappointed in the lack of a fully equipped kitchen, very few utensils and pots and pans. Our microwave was broken, so we called and a loaner was given to us. It had to sit on the already limited counter space available. Had we been traveling with family, the kitchen situation would have been a lot more inconvenient. Overall, we enjoyed the beach, balcony and our time away.

Memorial Day weekend 2019
This was a great place for our family of 4. Our 2 small kids slept on the pull out sofa. The location was amazing. We used both the private beach and the pool. We also grabbed lunch at the Ocean View deli one day and it was great. The only issue we had was that the balcony furniture was inside and there was a sign saying we couldn't use the balcony so we didn't the first day. We emailed the second day and turns out it was just leftover from some work earlier in the year. We should have just called the first day as the management team was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

It could have been perfect
The place was great but dirty. The bathrooms and the kitchen were not clean. It was a big disappointment. Otherwise we really enjoy our vacation

Great view but very uncomfortable pull out bed
The view is great and the place is well furnished apart from the pull-out couch. It could not have been more uncomfortable.
