The Secret Garden Cottage is an amazing 1880s cottage set amongst a magical garden. With two bedrooms, dining room, and a huge lounge room with 85inch TV this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

It's a short walk to the main road, many popular cafes and Serafinos making it the perfect location to base yourselves as you explore the region. Also available to book on the property is the Secret Garden Studio. You may see other guests from time to time but each have separate areas.

Perfect position for visiting the vineyards. Lovely house tucked away in its own lush garden, yet right on the edge of town. Very spacious and comfortable. We wanted for nothing and that TV! Just remember to duck your head when you enter the bathroom, it can be very painful in the middle of the night!

Thank you Renee for allowing us to stay in your cozy ,specious property. Renee was most helpful in recommendations around mclaren vale. Super speedy response nothing was a bother for her. My partner and "tag -along" baby felt comfortable, cozy, the photos don't do it justice it's beautiful in person. I will be telling my family and friends. 💖

A lovely comfortable home with a beautiful garden. The heaters created a warm environment during cold September days/ nights. The kitchen had all the equipment which we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable. Nice quiet location, and in walking distance to the town.

A wonderful place to stay. A beautiful cottage, circa1800 and has all the mod cons you need. Very spacious yet still has a cosy feel to it. It is very clean and has great heating. The garden is lovely and well looked after. Renee and Jared are great hosts and reply promptly. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage surrounded by charming country gardens with everything you need for a weekend away. Modern amenities, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and cellar doors in town. Hosts are friendly and responsive which was great.

My daughter and i had 3 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Very central to wineries, restuarants and beaches. Extremely clean and very spacious. Will definately recommend friends to stay and would love to come back and stay soon.

We had a beautiful couple of days at the cottage and honestly couldn't fault a thing. The entire home was beautifully clean and had such a relaxing feel to it. Our favourite part was sitting on the front verandah in the sun with a glass of champagne looking out over the stunning garden. Thanks to Jared and Renee for being such lovely hosts. :)

Beautiful cottage in immaculate condition - very well-appointed. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Quality linen, comfortable beds, lovely shower with quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gel (even the toilet spray was high quality). It is quite large for a cottage BnB with 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, bathroom/laundry, kitchen, sitting room and back room. Coffee pod machine with pods, milk and teabags provided. High quality oven and microwave. Beautiful garden with seating to enjoy the tranquillity. Our 5 year old loved the cubby house and slippery dip and the huge TV in the lounge room. Very quiet location despite being quite close to Main Rd McLaren Vale and short walk to cafes and shops. So many options for breakfast close-by including Mullygrub and Tin Shed and Manna Cafes. So many options for lunch and dinner, although BnB is also well fit out with pots, pans etc for cooking. Very homely feel to the BnB. Excellent communication from the host and easy check-in process. We can't fault it, one of the nicest BnB experiences we have had.

Clearly nothing is too much trouble at Jarred street.Seclusion, privacy, stunning rambling and secure garden,cosy, quiet home built what seems like centuries ago out of solid stuff to last and welcome generations of guests.Supremely cool on the hot days, ample places to relax in company or in your our space.Thoroughly prepared kitchen in which we cooked each of our three nights, brilliant bathroom, and in the room enveloped by the garden; the biggest TV in the universe.In this town centred perfectly for exploring the region's food, wine and natural surrounds. We loved Onkaparinga National Park and Maslin Beach. Great local shopping for supplies particularly at the organic health food store on Main road.

Very solid and spacious cottage, with all the trimmings of efficient kitchen appliances, lots of power points, great big TV, very comfortable beds, appropriate floor coverings. Very central to where we needed to be, from wineries to the beach and the pubs. Thank you, and highly recommended it.

Absolutely loved staying here. Came to McLaren Vale for a wedding from Melbourne and was so happy with the place and it’s features. Was so relaxing and peaceful and enjoyed the gardens too. We will be coming again for sure!

My partner and I have been travelling in and around Adelaide for the week. The Secret Garden cottage was the best accommodation we stayed in. Our hosts were incredibly helpful before and during our stay, giving us personalised local recommendations. The property was not only clean, comfortable and will equipped but beautifully decorated. The cottage is nestled in a quiet street a short walk from the McLaren Vale township. We hope we can return for a longer stay next time!

We stayed for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Beautifully decorated cottage, with luxury bedding, towels and other touches! Jared and Renee were very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again!

This property is definitely worth it! such a beautiful cottage home with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The location is perfect, wineries down every road and so close to everything. The owners are very lovely and helpful which was such a delight!
