The house is lovely and overlooks a lake - kangaroo supplied for saturday morning viewing.
Also the fire was lit for when we arrived so that house was lovely and cozy. Its our 3rd time staying here and we love it.
They have a wasp problem in the roof - i am guessing thats standard for an older house.

Warm, cosy, well located, every thought has been put in to make guests comfortable
No hose to rinse off boots after a day of hiking in the forest (very minor issue).

The house was spacious, well appointed and in a beautiful setting overlooking a lake, and catered well for young children.
A wood burning heater with plenty of wood supplied, in the living area added to t h e ambience of living in a country cottage.
The photos did not reflect how spacious the property was.

Simply amazing. Such a beautiful view to wake up at every morning.
The house had everything we needed to make our stay easy.
Arriving to a toasty warm house with the wood fire going was fantastic!
I couldn’t fault it!

A beautiful country style home with large verandahs and grassed back yard (great for kids), backing on to lovely pond. Wooden floors, thoughtful decor and wood fire are great features

I purchased this stay as a christmas gift for my sister and her family. They said it was amazing and a great little spot.
The lack of response from the owners. Email request through Booking.com, 1 text message and 2 phone calls and i am still waiting for a response. Luckily they responded to my sister when she arrived, so she could get in.

It is a lovely house and the location is spectacular. We loved drinking tea on the verandah watching the ducks.
The bed i slept in was super bouncy which I am not used to!!

Location
Upon arrive we were not given the code to the key box and had to wait for a response from owner.
We soon came to realise that the house had not been cleaned after previous guests, dirty towels, dirty linen and toilet/bathroom. We cut our holiday short after we were told we could be delivered fresh linen but we would have to change the 3 beds required unless we waited till the next morning.
Could understand if it was short noticed but book 11 months in advance.
Contacted owner of property who hads't responded my call

The view from the hall. Generous parking area, functional kitchen, and washer. Clean toilet
5.0 / 10.0
We liked the location, the large living room window looking out to the back yard, sitting on the verandah for breakfast and reading with the lovely back yard view.
No small toiletries provided -ie bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion (which is common at all accommodation in the SW), the kitchen was a groddy - sticky food stains inside the kitchen drawers. The heavy dark wooden kitchen cabinets and counter tops were sticky and just yuk. No flint to light the kitchen stove, no matches to light the fire.

Everything, the view of the wetlands is amazing, great location, clean and comfortable.
The only thing that needs to be done is to replace the toaster, as you need to hold the button down for the bread to cook.

Lovely location and outlook.
Hot water in shower hard to control temperature. Back steps need maintenance.
