Sugar Sand Retreat is a gorgeous new home with four bedrooms and four and a half baths accommodating up to twelve. Professionally decorated with a local interior designer and tastefully furnished, this new home offers an inviting open-concept floor plan maximizing already spacious areas with flexible living space adaptable to your specific needs. After a long day in the sun, the front porch is inviting, with plenty of cushioned seating for everyone to gather. Shades of sand and the sea greet you in the living and dining areas, providing a calming backdrop for rest and revitalization. The fully appointed kitchen is a lovely space with everything needed to prepare meals should you opt to stay in a night or two. Gather at the expansive breakfast bar or the extended dining table to leisurely plan your day.

With three bedrooms housing king-sized beds and the fourth bedroom filled with a tri-bunk bed for all the kids, everyone will get a good night’s rest! You’ll find each room an oasis, spacious retreat with generous closets, perfect for storing all of your belongings. Bathrooms are inviting, clean, orderly, and plentiful.

Enjoy the community pool or head over to the beach at the Seacrest beach public access point. Sugar Sand Retreat provides wristbands for all 12 guests to use the Seacrest Tram Service and Beach Access only ($20 fee for lost or missing bands). Venture out and explore wonderful restaurants and fantastic shopping at Seacrest, Rosemary, and Alys Beach. Try La Cocina for Latin-inspired lunch, brunch, or dinner or George’s for upscale casual dining featuring seafood with a coastal flair!

Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited and guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund.

Giving the home 5 stars! It’s the first house in the neighborhood with no neighbors to one side. That was great. It was clean, layout was as advertised, tram service was nice and communication with the property manager was easy. Negative- there is some wear and tear in the walls and the floors, but to be expected. Refrigerator door wasn’t closing properly, and needed some help to seal right. None of this interferes with our stay.

The house and location were very nice. There were a few minor details lacking however, all and all it was a great place. The minor things were, lack of towel bars and hooks, not enough dw pods or garbage bags, some pans were extremely scratched up.

Large newer property. Very clean. Walkable to almost everything we wanted to do. Relaxing location with a great porch. Only downside is parking can be a little tight.

Overall, this property and stay were great. The location is close to several beaches, shopping, dining. The property is spacious and the access to the private community pool was nice. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues with our stay, mostly relating to cleanliness and overall safety. The kitchen counters were dusty and there were dead spiders on them. There was dust in many other areas of the home and the fridge had crumbs. The back door handle was difficult at best to manage and would recommend a repair. Additionally, we had WiFi issues that even after maintenance came out, continued throughout the stay. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone planning to have internet to work remotely as it was lagging at best, completely unavailable at worst. Lastly, our largest concern was in the blinds chosen for the home. Unfortunately, while they are beautiful for aesthetic, they are see-through and do not offer privacy, especially in the evenings as anyone can see in when a light is on. It was especially concerning in the bathrooms. I would strongly urge the owner to update the window coverings.

Overall, we had quite a few issues. The house is large, very nice for large groups. Our issues were: 1) floors were completely uncleaned when we arrived and many dishes were broken/chipped/cracked; 2) window coverings provided absolutey no privacy in bathrooms which was horrifying as parents of small kids; 3) ammenity wristbands were not left for us; and 4) internet was practically nonexistent. The front porch was our favorite part, which we used every night. Overall, it ws fine, but left a lot to be desired.

Pros- Home was nice with modern decors with lots of room to spread out for the family. Convenient to ride bikes to both Alys Beach and Inlet beach. Cons- internet connection and Wi-Fi service at the home is horrible. We had to reset it every 2-3 times per day. No streaming service was available at the home. Construction was occurring right in front of the home. That was a missed on my part because I didn’t see it explained on the listing and they start at 8am on every weekday. Defeats the purpose of sleeping in on vacation. Beach explanation could be better on tram service, route, and which beach walk location. It was so crowded and full of beach chairs and umbrellas that we can’t even use the beach. We had to drive to another state park instead. Beach was small and restricted to just area. Not the most convenient location with the amenities offered.

We wanted to be with our grandson before he was deployed for three years overseas. It was a great time for us with lots of room for us to enjoy being together in a beautiful home. We enjoyed being outside visiting on the porch in the morning and before going to bed. Some good memories and reminiscing about the past were spent there. The area was beautiful and about halfway between Destin and Panama City. Wouldn’t it be great if we can return there after he return to hear all his great stories of what happened when he was gone.

Beautiful house, clean perfect for our 12 people (two families) trip. Bedroom’s perfect for everyone in the family all with their on full bathroom, That’s a plus+ Beach is little far then what we expected, car 6 min / 20min walking.

We loved our vacation, especially the laid back bicycle friendly town and beach access. Only drawback still lots of construction happening next door which did not bother us but may be a concern for some.

This home is perfect for a visit to the area. Loved the front porch for morning coffee. My only wish was that there was more information at the home about the area, restaurants, beach access, Internet access (which was not great, in and out), etc. No details on where to catch a beach shuttle, wrist bands, beach access. We had to call the rental place. I guess Rosemary beaches now require codes to access their beaches. We did love Inlet beach and the public parking/access was easy.

Great stay at Treetop. We enjoyed being close to the pool and ended up getting our own golf cart for the week to park closer to the beach even though a tram strop was about a quarter mile away.

AMAZING!

AMAZING!

We stayed a week in this house and LOVED it! Exceptionally clean, very close to the pool, an easy tram ride to the beach, and super close to town. The house had all the amenities we needed and more. We will definitely stay in this home again! One thing to note is the master is upstairs as well as another room with a king and the bunk room. There is a room downstairs with a king but it’s not the master. Also, this house includes 4 great bikes, a washer and dryer, and outdoor shower which were all wonderful to have. Rosemary/Seacrest area is very cute and chic. We rode our bikes to town multiple times and that was so much fun! I also recommend driving to Carillon beach if you want something more private that is close to the house. Thanks again for a fabulous stay!
