Beautiful stay in Nature

Very nice location in nature and lovely hosts. We also liked the cats and dogs they have. If you want to get out of loud and busy Tarapoto and sleep in the almost as loud jungle, this is the place.

It takes like 30-40 minutes to get there from Tarapoto and there are not a lot of options for eating out. Also It wasn't clear if we can eat at the place. Often there was no water in the afternoon until the next morning, so we could only shower in the morning.

Una experiencia inolvidable

El personal, la cabaña es preciosa y espaciosa. Los espacios comunes están limpios, hay agua caliente. Vives una experiencia natural, con el sonido del agua y las ranitas todo el día. Los perritos y gatos del alojamiento son muy mansos, incluso vienen a visitarte en la cabaña durante el día

Estaría bien alguna luz mas, el camino para llegar a la cabaña es natural con piedras y es fácil tropezar. Se debe salir de la cabaña para entrar al baño, por la noche es un poco molesto abrir la luz y la puerta de la cabaña porque entran los mosquitos

Amazing place ! Everything's perfect at Puqio! Clean, Cozy, good vibes! Mayra and Daniel are perfect hosts and they helped me a lot. I will never forget that wonderful place. 🤍🙏🏼

The place was super comfortable, beautiful and peaceful. I went with my partner and we had, honestly, the best sleep there. The location is amazing, just 5-10 min walk and you're already in the river, where's possible to swim, there are grocery shops one or two squares away and amazing nature on the surroundings (the path of almost 4 km to go to a beautiful waterfall is just 1 km away) There are super friendly animals (two dogs and some cats), in case you are an animal lover :) The owners can connect you with local mototaxis to get to the place. Thank you so much for the time, the love and dedication, Mayra and Daniel :)

Lovely lodge away from the city

This place is new and well maintained. The owners are a young artistic couple who care about the community and are working to enrich the community with art by adding murals while also building up their small business in their lodge. The cabins are as pictured and clean. Showers were hot and the hosts were accommodating and helpful. They helped us book day trips and gave us ideas of what to do in town. They also helped us with booking transport. I look forward to returning.

They were up front and be aware that they serve a yummy breakfast but no other food. You’ll need to head to town to eat or be prepared to buy groceries and prepare yourself in the community kitchen area. Again, They were clear about this at time of booking and great about offering recommendations of where to buy goods and find restaurants.
