Nice location next to start point for marathon/half marathon that started at the railway tunnel.

I try to make it up during summer with my kids and friends to ride the bike park and this is the perfect place to stay.
4.0 / 5.0
My husband and I had a nice weekend to ourselves. I could be nit-picky and find things to complain about if I wanted, but overall this place suited our needs. One drawback is that it located right next to the freeway which was pretty loud. On the plus side, the downstairs bedroom was quiet and dark; the freeway did not bother us there.

This home was beautiful and well maintained. Checking in and checking out was very smooth and the hot tub was hot and ready! We took advantage of the hiking trails close by!

We booked this place for a land survey project in the area and, honestly, we’ve never had it so good. Hoping to book again in the near future, I would highly recommend the place.

Pros: Affordable, cute, comfortable cabin, near Snoqualmie pass
Cons: Management, Traffic noise, and cleanliness
The overall cleanliness was okay. However some of the sheets did not feel clean and were very gritty with some debris and small hairs. The 10am checkout time seemed a bit early too. Vacasa wasn’t great to deal with and for some reason I didn’t pass ID verification which was a hassle to get resolved. Hot tub needs to be replaced but we weren’t planning on using it when we booked.

House was clean. Close to ski area. Even though”hot tub” was in title of rental, it had not been able to use for months. They refunded us some money.

I specifically rented a place that had a hot tub because I have a hot tub at my house in Seattle. When we got here we quickly realized that the hot tub was not functioning is actually a hole in the bottom and it was empty. I immediately reached out and let the manager know and their solution was will send someone over to fix it which I knew was impossible because he couldn't just fix the hot tub it's got a hole in the bottom. I immediately requested a refund only to be offered $75 compensation. Needless to say the power outlets didn't work in the basement, the kitchen stunk really bad like somebody had cooked something awful and nobody cared to air it out or bothered to put some air freshener in it , there's no ice or water in the machine and it was kind of dirty and very cold. The casa the people I was speaking to while they were trying to get a technician over to fix the hot tub which was ridiculous told me that the people that owned it offered me to $75 I said no I wanted a full refund they said we'll call you back in 24 to 48 hours with an answer guess what I never heard back from them!!!! Absolutely the worst service I've ever had and I've been using VRBO for years I am completely flabbergasted that they would advertise a house with a hot tub and when you get there there's no hot tub then they don't even want to give you your money back I stayed there one night and I left I came back home which was only 50 minutes from the place and got my own hot tub that actually works

The cabin so better than excepted. The freeway noise was little loud at night but we didn’t mind it. Otherwise location to ski resort was amazing. It was in a cute little cabin community.

It’s was pretty good, there are a few things that need attention… like the toilet downstairs is wobbly, the plug in’s in the downstairs bedroom did not work, the lights on the entry did not work,
The couches are pretty uncomfortable, and the kitchen could use a new set of pots and pans…
We are partial owner and cleaners of a nice vacation rental. And these are the things we noticed… we loved the house and our stay! And will definitely come back! Thank you again! The Goldmans

Great price and cabin but highway noise is loud.

The place was clean and nice but quite a few things that need improvement. Pots and pans need updated and more kitchen supplies would have been helpful. The bed downstairs is super uncomfortable but luckily there were only two of us so we were able to use the upstairs bed which was comfy. We had a hard time with the television situation downstairs and there aren't good details on that. I tried downloading another app to get into and unfortunately a Roku code was needed so I couldn't watch what I wanted. It's also very noisy from the highway. We really enjoyed the hot tub and back patio and the stars at night were amazing. All in all we had a great time and made it work.

We love this house. We stayed there twice this winter and twice last winter. Unfortunately weren't able to use the hot tub this most recent visit because the water was literally green. I got the run around from the property management company...telling me that it had been cleaned and to go ahead and use it...I sent them a picture and finally they said to not go in the water and that they would issue a partial credit for the inconvenience, which they did not. Typical disconnect when using a property management co.. I still would recommend this house and my family and I we continue renting here in the future-

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We found the cottage as advertised. I was a little apprehensive because of all the reviews but was positively surprised. The property manager touched base about 2 hours after check in via text to make sure that everything was ok. The cabin was clean with exception of the oven and a few missed spots under the sofas (therefore only 4 stars). The kitchen is fully functional with working Keurig Coffee maker and standard drip coffee maker. There is a toaster/oven appliance which comes in handy. The pots are ok, some of the pans are outdated and need to be replaced. There were a few staples (sugar, salt, pepper, flour) and spices, the fridge was clean. The bar stools don't fit the bar as they are too small. Only 4 chairs to sit at the table therefore one person had to sit on the sofa for meals. The hot tub is amazing and working well, was heated up when we arrived and ready to go. Linen/towels were fresh and plenty for our needs. And yes, obviously we did hear the highway but did not bother, the snow definitively helped to lower the level of noise and amount of traffic. Lastly, the access road and driveway was cleared promptly during snow storm and cabin is accessible if you have 4WD/4x4 or chains. Will definitively consider booking again. 3 adults and 2 kids (9/11), fyi.

Loved the house especially the kitchen & hot tub. Very clean! Beds are comfy. The location for hiking was perfect. The only challenge was being next to the highway. The truck brakes at night were really loud. We rigged up some fans to drown it out & that worked.

The cabin was very close to the ski hill, clean, and as represented on the website. But a few things could definitely be improved:
1. The hot tub was only 89 degrees when we arrived and only got up to 100 after a full day with the heater turned all the way up. It also smelled bad, so we ended up not even going in. Big bummer when the hot tub had been a big draw for after skiing.
2. The kitchen was poorly stocked/organized for cooking. No measuring cups, no foil/plastic wrap, and had an odd assortment of pans and other utensils - not functional for cooking actual meals. Also the ice and water in the fridge didn’t work/were not hooked up.
3. It was inadequately heated. There is only one electric wall heater on the main floor and the space never really warmed up our whole trip.
4. A bunch of light bulbs were burnt out, so the space was dark at night.
With a few improvements, the cabin could be great.

Great cabin just a stone's throw from the mountain
This cabin comfortably housed our family of 5 with a master suite on the ground floor and a roomy loft on the top floor (sleeps 4). The kitchen had everything we needed for our post-ski meals. The roads were clear of snow up to the house (but no recent snowfall) and it was easy to find and really close to Central. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kids like sliding down the snow hills around the house. The communication with the property manager was fantastic - they allowed us a later check out and even left us a little check-in gift. We hope to come back soon!

Not Good
The good:
I booked the spot for a week. The space was great, the kitchen was nice, and the check in process was easy.
The bad:
When I arrived the drive way had about 8" of snow in it and had not been touched. There was no shovel. There was trash scattered around the entry way and cigarette butts on the patio. The WiFi and TV did not work. After stomping out a path and putting my truck with pretty new snow tires in 4 wheel drive, I got into the driveway. Replaced the lightbulbs that were out in the entry way, kicked the trash out of the way, picked up cigarette butts, and cleaned off the satellite dish. I got the TV working, but no WiFi. I called the Vacasa number and was promised help, which I had to call the next day again to get someone on the way. They sent a very sweet person up to help out. However, the road had still not been touched, and she was driving a Honda Fit with summer tires. So I helped dig her out when she got stuck, I believe she ended up needing to call a tow truck to get her back to the main road. She did bring a shovel, but was unable to fix the internet. The folks from Vacasa told me that the internet didn't work when the weather was bad. The internet still didn't work when the skies were blue and the sun was shining. I called and was told that I was just out of luck with the internet and that I would be contacted by a manager, I still have not heard anything. I left early due to lack of internet and another storm system rolling in. I was hoping that a cabin 50 miles from a major city and tech hub would be a bit more dialed in with internet and someone to clear the driveway somewhat regularly. l was also hoping for more from the support service.

Cabin is fine, WIFI and Cell is limited-poor, winter access is bad
This cabin is well built, nicely outfitted, and a good location to Snoqualmie Central, however, I wish the listing would have been more transparent about how poor the WIFI is (none of us could get service) and the Cell Service is also very spotty. More importantly, access to the home was impossible - the road and parking spot had not been plowed. In addition, no one had removed the snow from the decks (maybe all winter) so they were unusable. There were piles of trash from the previous guests on the front porch. There wasn't a shovel to help create a walk way to the front door - which had burnt out lights. We spent all night Friday getting our car towed out and creating a walkway to the front door...not very relaxing and with limited service, tough to get a hold of anyone.

Vacasa tried canceled my reservation 2 hours before check in. The cabin was still occupied when we tried to check in. We checked in late and then spent hours cleaning and washing bedding. The previous tenants destroyed the driveway. The neighbor and plow operator were more than frustrated. We had to park 1/2 mile away.We had to get toilet paper and paper towels. We also had to deal with the previous tenants garbage including broken sleds and shovels. The cabin itself was nice. The first 2 days of this vacation was ruined. Vacasa refunded us $138.00 which was not nearly enough compensation for the inconvenience and stress.

It could have easily been 5stars but....
We have a 4wheel drive suv & many years of winter driving experience. We knew that there was a ton of recent snow. Nothing was plowed. Getting into the driveway was almost not possible. No shoveling had been done...anywhere. We got out of car to shovel driveway & there was a broken shovel and no kitty litter. My husband went later that night to buy both of those things. The decks are piled dangerously high with snow. It’s unfortunate they don’t plow/shovel their cabin. It’s beautiful. Other than that our stay was great. There was no instructions/house rules in the cabin, but we figured out what we needed to. No internet at all. It’s probably because of snow buildup and snow storm.
I have to add that I had a frustrating time getting in touch with anyone from mgt company. I sent a bunch of messages with no response-for a week. (That was regarding a pet question).
When we arrived at cabin I tried to msg and get a response from someone regarding the lack of snow tools.
Waited overnight and nothing. I called Vacasa customer service. Tim B was very helpful and kind.
I still don’t understand the lack of communication and response time. We have been renting vacation homes for years and this was the worst in communicating.
It could totally be 5 stars with little improvements!

Beautiful home with difficult winter access & poor internet
This home is clean and beautiful. However, the access road is not plowed, nor is the driveway. Given the location, it made it impossible for a 4wheel drive car with experienced winter driver to reach the house. We had to walk in through knee high snow, and calf deep puddles of water. We parked our cars, as directed in entry parking area, also not plowed but easier to get out, only to have the plow man knock angrily on our door at 9pm in the dark and yell at us. It was scary. We dug the cars out, moved them to the plowed driveway, it snowed over 16 inches and our cars were then stuck. I called Vacasa three time but no one came to plow, the snow continued and we were stuck for two days. It was infuriating.
Before coming, I asked and was told there was high speed internet, which was necessary to us on this trip for remote school and work- the internet was not just bad, it was mostly non-existent. We could never videoconference... but even email and hot spot service was almost non existent.
These factors ruined our trip.
If internet and phone are not needed and you do not plan to go anywhere - the house is beautiful... but you may never get out snd there is no followup from customer service.

This is a cute and charming cabin. The interior is very nicely done and maintained. It’s exactly what you would want out of a cabin in the woods. We had a great time!! It was exactly what we needed to get away from the city. A few things to mention for future renters: the property is facing I-90, so it’s loud. Not a huge issue but if you are noise sensitive, it might bother you. Overall, location is great, accessible and close to everything. Cabin has 3 decks, and none of them were shoveled. There was a pile up of frozen snow with patio furniture frozen into it. That includes the drive way as well: it’s not shoveled, and there is an icy snow bank to go through to enter the house. We are lucky we went the week before to check out the location otherwise we would never found it when we were checking in: it was pitch dark. Another note is regarding the management company: maybe remember to turn on the heat when people are scheduled to check in so renters can walk into a warm home. Our first night was tough- it took a while for the whole place to warm up. Our 4 years old son had to eat his supper wearing snow mittens. Part of winter charm, I guess. It was very nice and comfortable once the house got warm. Also, renters FYI- every time you send a message through your VRBO app under “messages” in case you have a question/concern, it actually opens a brand new request. While you think you are having a continuous conversation with Vacasa agent, each one of your messages actually go as a separate request with no context. Vacasa agent educated me on that. Not sure why it would be set up this way: it makes no practical sense especially since most of these situations require a follow up. Word of advice: if you need to send a follow up question, better tie it to the previous message somehow otherwise the random Vacasa agent that will get your request will have no idea what it’s related to. Bring your own condiments for cooking: we left salt and pepper, there wasn’t even that there. There are 2 coffee machines but no coffee- bring that. Bring your own detergent for laundry. We had to buy it while there. The cabin is tall and narrow, with steep wooden stairs, and no hand rails. This maybe a bit of a challenge for children or elderly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but did not feel like we just walked in and relaxed. We had to buy a few things that we anticipated to be in the house for use, like coffee and detergent.
