The Villa is located just outside the town of Scilla (about 500 m) in Pacì. A private staircase, surrounded by greenery, leads directly to the sea to a rocky cove which is impossible to access otherwise. It is completely independent; it has a private entrance with a driveway gate. The villa has parking for 5 cars and is built on three levels, two of which have a kitchen. The first level is spread over two floors and consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living room, a panoramic covered terrace, with a view of Sicily and the Aeolian Islands, kitchen equipped with all appliances and a small bathroom for guests. The other two levels have two bedrooms and a bathroom respectively. Outside there are two areas equipped for the sun, a comfortable shower and a table with a masonry seat and chairs.
The villa is equipped with independent heating with the exception of the third and fourth units.
The villa is not suitable for people with limited mobility due to the presence of stairs (110 steps from the first unit to the sea).

The owner and host is very helpful und friendly. Check-In was personal and very nice. The spacious main house is perfect for vacation with friends as the rooms are on different levels.
October was an awesome time to see the sun going down over Sicily. 100% recommend

My group of 7 adults absolutely loved staying at this villa. It is even more beautiful than the photos. The terraces are stunning and perfect for eating or admiring the view. We swam and snorkled from the house every day. Each room is comfortable and has good AC - but we didn't need it because the sea breeze kept us cool. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves on the shore. The house is on three levels with additional levels of terraces so there is room for everyone to have space or lounge together. Kitchen has everything you need. Do bring some bottles of water because the water in the house is not potable. There are fountains in town and along the road you can use to refill. Check in is at 6 so stop at the Eurospin to stock up on groceries first (stores close early so you might not get groceries otherwise). The hosts were so responsive and kind. They left us fruit, wine and bread and answered our questions during the week. It took a minute to figure out the trash but we loved how carefully it is sorted to ensure recycling and composting. The ocean in front of the house is very clear and full of fish - people are fishing and scuba diving right behind the house. The snorkeling was quite good. Bring a rash guard and swim pants to protect from sun, scrapes, and the occasional (beautiful) purple jellyfish. There can be strong currents so stay aware when swimming. Location is ideal to explore Calabria! Close to town and highway but private. Good base for day trips. Loved it!

Breathtaking views
We had an absolutely lovely week at Scilla. The house is spacious and well-equipped and the terraces are simply amazing. The views are wonderful and there are so many places to sit and look at the sea. The sea itself was often a bit rough making it quite challenging to have a swim off the rocks below the house, but it was very easy to walk into Scilla and go to the beach there, which was friendly and laid back and not especially crowded even though it was August. We went to Reggio one day to see the Riace bronzes, which are wonderful, and we had a very nice meal there; but for the most part we were happy to stay local and enjoy the peace and beauty of the place. When we arrived the owner had made us a yummy cake and there was a bottle of prosecco and some supplies in the kitchen which were very much appreciated - especially the huge platter of fruit, as well as lemons, onions etc. The only slight downside is the fact that there is no wifi at the house, which is a bit inconvenient. But we would definitely recommend this property and would happily go back.

Again a perfect week...
Once again we had a wonderful time here in Scilla. We came two years ago and we wanted to come back as the house is a so peaceful place...We highly recommend this place and the little beach located 2 minutes ago from the house with the restaurant Cala Sangrioli, perfect to eat something for lunch.
You can also rent a boat and go to Sicily.

Great house first line house
When we arrived the nice owner family gave us a detailed instruction to the house and the surroundings. The home made cake was a nice supprise.
This is a house with style and all the kitchen equipment you need. The terrace area is lovely and really give a sence of beeing close to the sea.
Don't forget to take a stroll at the cosy and charming streets around the marina.

This family house is absolutely the best you can find in Italy. Away from turists, with stunning view terraces. No need to go anywhere else during the stay, but if you like, Scilla is just a stroll away. Maria is a warm and great host.
