The staff is incredibly hospitable and professional. Interested in African culture, choose Ike's.
Ike's is an iconic cultural gem. For our purposes it is the best lodging experience money can buy. The stay itself is a cultural experience-architecture and room decorations immerse one in a true traditional African village experience. The rooms are clean, spacious, exquisitely appointed, and the beds comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to care for the needs of their guests. One of our team members forgot some personal items, they called me to alert us and arrange to have them sent to us while we were still in Accra. They even called me in the States to inquire if we did receive the said items. To add to its charm, there is an African village themed restaurant on the compound.
I liked everything.

Fabulous place to stay!
The rooms were very clean, with décor that suited the cultural centre. Each room has air conditioning and you are given bottled water with every room clean. There is a fridge in the room. The bathrooms were also in the style of the cultural centre and had electric point for razors. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food in the bar and grill is authentic Ghanaian, with good size portions, which you are able to take it away for eating later. The entertainment was good, with different areas to the bar and grill for people to sit. The craft shops sell a very good variety of things and will engage with negotiations over prices.
These are nitpicking and would not stop my overall pleasure of the cultural centre. In my room, the design of the bathroom meant I had to step over the toilet to get out of the shower. The pebbles in the shower floor take some getting used to for your feet. A kettle in the room to make a hot drink would be good too. A swimming pool is needed! Please build a pool. 🙏🏿

Mixed Feelings
The room was definitely cleaned well and decorated uniquely. I enjoyed the restaurant located onsite. The included breakfast was also great.
The air condition It took approximately 4 hours for our room to become somewhat cool, and then we wanted to tour the community but learned that if you take the key out of the door then all the electricity goes off including the air conditioning. It took so long to cool off the room we did not want to come back to a warm room. . This situation is the only thing that did not make for a comfortable stay

Excellent choice! Rooms were very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location is central to most of the tourist sites and Ike’s cafe is literally right across the parking lot with great food and entertainment. They even have ice cream! Breakfast was good, service was great, and the hotel is settled in a very quiet serene environment. We loved the tortoise garden too. Honestly you’d be hard pressed to find a better place than here.
A little confusion about the timing on breakfast. It took me a couple days to figure out that the call around 7:50 AM was only a courtesy call to let us know breakfast is ready rather than a reminder to get breakfast right away.
