Loved this property. Easy to walk every where we wanted to go (downtown, beach, antique shopping, farmers market). Also love the baby gates every where. Perfect for corralling the grandbabies. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend for a visit to Sandpoint.

Property was neat, clean and orderly on arrival. Home is lovely, spacious and well equipped. Everything we needed was there. We did not interact with our host, Randy, but no need to as he had taken care of everything. No complaints from our group. We would definitely recommend to others, and stay there again on a future ski trip.

This house is in a perfect location. It’s within walking distance to a number of places. Super quiet and safe neighborhood. Randy was a great host. We hope to stay here again. I would have one request next, with the house being able to accommodate a large number of guests I was hoping there would have been a pack and play for our baby. All in all though we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back.

We checked in on Monday and out on Saturday. This comfortable property was the perfect base for skiing At Schweitzer and relaxing in town in the evenings. The bedroom/bathroom layout worked well for our guests, which included family and friends with an age range of 18 - 62. One of the best parts of the property is Randy, who lives in the first floor and was available when we needed him.

Me and four gals took a mom's trip to Sandpoint. This home was SO homey and comfortable. It was incredibly clean. The beds were all super comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you might need. One of my favorites VRBOs I have ever stayed in!

Beautiful property with lots of amenities and great furnishings. The house is loaded with lots of things to use and we were wanting for nothing. Very nice deck at the back of the property. The only minor issues were as follows: owner lived in the basement, which is normally against VRBO rentals; the side street (Superior) was very noisy all night, early morning and throughout the day; when turning down the A/C just two degrees, the unit dripped constantly on the carpet until we raised the temperature back to the original setting; and the living room was a little small for a place that can accommodate 10 people. These are all minor issues because the home is lovely in a good location that is walkable to the town, City Beach, etc.

We were able to walk to the water and walk to downtown Sandpoint, location is perfect! House is very clean and every little detail was accommodated for, plenty of space and a big deck in the back. Would highly recommend!

We are a family of 10 and the house was great for our vacation stay. There is lots of room, it is clean, and the basics are stocked, including a first aid kit. A/C units worked well and the rooms are all nicely setup and decorated. The kids enjoyed the moose decoration above the stairs. It is also close to the Sandpoint beach park, and convenient to get back on the highway if you don’t want to deal with the crowded park right there.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's really quaint and equipped. We were in town for a family reunion an wedding and was able to have some family come to visit and it was really nice. Thank you for the lovely, stay! We'll be sure to book this again the next time we are in town.

Nice house, great neighborhood and location.
Wonderful place for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to downtown and the city beach. Good house for a dog but no fenced yard and only off leash area is a 15 min walk. Visitors should also be aware that the owner lives downstairs. We never saw him so it wasn't an issue, but it did make us more concerned about our kids being too noisy.

The Pinetree Inn was very clean and centrally located. We came in for a family wedding near Sandpoint and the 4 bedrooms worked out perfectly for our crew.

Our go to home away from home in Sandpoint
We travel to Sandpoint twice a year on average for a business meeting and bring two employees as well. This house is so close to everything, and very comfortable. After a long day in meetings, it is nice to relax by the fire or on the deck depending on time of year. We are able to relax and make dinner and start the next day rested, so much better than a hotel. The home is thoughtfully equipped, beds are very comfortable, ad we have everything we need in the well stocked kitchen to make easy dinners. Love that you can walk to the lake, walk to town, and anyplace you need. We'll be back in the summer time!

Great home in the middle of everything
Thank you for welcoming dogs! We love to travel with our pup but it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to find places to stay. We loved having such a beautiful home to enjoy AND be able to have our dog with us. Everyone was comfortable, the home is big, and had everything we needed.

Great house with wonderful location
We were in town for a business meeting with our two employees and this house made much more sense than three old, small hotel rooms. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, relax after our meetings and have plenty of privacy too. Great kitchen allowed us to cook dinner some nights instead of fighting the local crowds at restaurants. The house was clean, tidy, well appointed and very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the BBQ too. We could have walked to our meeting in town it was so close (but far too hot!) and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and walks to the lake in the evening. I would totally recommend this house and we will be back to stay again.

We had a wonderful week long stay at Pinetree Inn! Plenty of room for big family and set up to accommodate. Walking distance downtown, coffee, City Beach, trails , etc. and could watch fireworks from upper deck!
He even does a complimentary bottle of wine from local winery and a growler from McDuffs!
