This mountain condo near the slopes and downtown Stateline is perfect for that next ski-cation with your family or friends. Inside, its inviting atmosphere invites you to relax and leave all of your worries behind. Come back home from the slopes to a warm getaway thanks to the gas fireplace. Then, snuggle up in front of the large smart TV for an entertaining time with your friends–you can watch a pick a movie from the DVD library, or play one of the board games available. If hunger strikes, the well-equipped kitchen has you all covered. It features all the essentials and modern appliances to prepare everything from full-course meals to quick snacks on the go. The breakfast bar has space for two people, but if you'd like to truly make the best out of your stay, you can dine alfresco on the balcony. Wildernest is all about convenience. You'll have your own stackable washer/dryer on-site. Your body can get sore after hours and hours at the slopes, so visiting the shared hot tub wouldn't be such a bad idea, right? Whether you're visiting in the summer months or winter, the shared outdoor pool will be a great perk to have access to.
You'll be located four and a half miles from downtown Stateline. As its name suggests, this town is on the border of California and Nevada, at the southeast shore of Lake Tahoe. Heavenly Ski Resort and Montbleu Resort & Casino are both in Stateline, making it a popular destination for every time of year. Another popular destination is Lake Tahoe, less than five miles away from your doorstep. Popular activities you can try at the lake abound, but fishing, kayaking, and even summertime swimming are locals' favorites. You'll be close to a handful of slopes that range from beginner to advanced. Nearby dining options include Ridge Club Bistro and Fox & Hound (both half a mile).

I was looking for a place to stay in Heavenly that was within walking distance, unfortunately if you are wearing ski boots that is not going to be a good experience. You need a car which will require parking, another major challenge after 8:00 am as parking will be full at Stagecoach. I should mention that the entry stairs are quite treacherous. If you are a older individual or a young child, you will find it challenging climbing up and down the entry stairs in ski boots.

A very misleading description of unit. All bedding was filthy. The 3 flights of stairs up to the”first floor” unit are treacherous- making loading and unloading dangerous. Disabled persons beware. 1 roll of tp for 10 days. Almost impossible to find street it’s on- you’ll miss it at least 3 times. Worst part? The tenets above unit party from night until mid morning. It’s almost like they want you leave. Stayed 5 nights out 10 because it was so uncomfortable. Loud music and loud talking. I could go on and on - but these are worst parts. So upsetting. One income military family and this was a splurge.

This rental was clean and conveniently located for skiing/snowboarding. We were happy with the check-in and check-out process and enjoyed our stay.

Easy booking, check-in, and check-out. Just slightly over an hour from Reno airport. Clean and updated 1 bedroom close to the Stagecoach lift at Heavenly Ski Resort. Has all the essentials and a comfortable space for a couple or small group. About 10-15 minutes to town but a great location for skiing. A small market and bar/grill within 5 minutes. The Stagecoach lodge opens at 8am and has a great breakfast burrito. (Lift starts at 8:39 on the weekends) Get there early, get some carbs/protein/coffee……then your set for a day on the mountain. We had an Epic 3 day skiing weekend!

Can't complain about a thing. Great little spot near heavenly lift.

You don't mind a very hard mattress. This was the only thing that we didn't like. The location was very convenient. The place was clean and everything was provided.
Everything else was top rate but neither my husband or I slept well all week. This really impacted our skiing towards the end of the week. Maybe they could put a topper on the bed to give it some cushion.

Loves the cozy cabin feel. Unit was clean and comfortable. Location is tricky, seemed like a 15 minute drive just to get out on the main road. Also, TV is not a smart TV, and the DVD player did not work, so TV/entertainment was useless. Overall 4/5 stars, will stay again next year for the price, but will bring an HMDI cord and my own entertainment device.

Wonderful couple of days in the Condo!

Apartment by its self is good, needs improvement with the laundry machines!! They are very old and you need hours to do the laundry! The tv needs attention, no instructions how to use!!!
But overall is good.
Thanks Stanley.

This place met our needs in regards to location. It was just a few driving minutes from Heavenly village and easy to get around the lake and to other surrounding areas. The place was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities.

Amazing stay. Great hot tub! Perfect location to ski Heavenly - walking distance to Stagecoach Lift. Easy communication with Vacasa regarding key codes, things to do, and check in 👍🏼

Decent space but many issues given the price. If this place was half the cost, I probably would have given it a 5.
First, the property is listed as having a hot tub (even states this in the title the title). That's misleading and dishonest. First the hot tub and pool are about one mile and second the hot tub has been closed for about two years.
Other general issues - There's a TV but no cable. The bed was average. The property had ice sheets on the stair case leading to the condo.
This is a probably a 5/5 if the place wasn't so expensive, but it's basically a hotel room suite with a kitchen. I wouldn't recommend staying hear unless you're planning to cook in the place every night or really don't like hotels.

Ok spot
Location was good. A little hard to find in the winter. Not sure where the hot tub was. Beds a bit stiff. Comforter was ripped and had some feathers coming out. Overall a semi-cozy place.

Love this condo!
My husband and I booked this condo last minute through Vacasa. Literally we were 30 minutes away from SLT when we booked it. I was so thankful to have found a decently priced condo in such short notice. Upon arrival, someone was there to make sure the condo was in tip top shape for us! Once we walked in, we were so happy. We love condos and choose them over hotels because they feel more home-like. This one did that for us. We were able to do our laundry which had accumulated from a work trip, we cooked dinner, relaxed and enjoyed our time. The condo is a short distance away (10 min) from downtown so prepare for the extra time, however the peace and quiet makes up for it. It is so quiet in the area! Probably because it was offseason. Don’t expect this in the winter time with the lifts close by. We only had one minor issue with the tub not draining properly but I informed Vacasa and they were going to work with maintenance to check it out! Highly recommend this place :) Thanks for being so awesome!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little condo. Had all the amenities we needed aside from ac. Most evenings we were able to open the windows to cool off until the wildfire smoke arrived. Those evenings, it was pretty hot and uncomfortable. We loved that the condo even had dvds to watch and board games to play. It does include a washer and dryer. They are very small so don’t expect to wash large loads at a time and the dryer takes 2-3 cycles to dry a small load. They’re nice to have to wash a couple towels at a time, but that’s about it. We had a great view from our room and even saw some wildlife. There is a deck off of it, but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in awhile. The furniture was dirty as well so we didn’t utilize the outdoor space like we would have wanted. Overall the condo was nice. Could use a good deep cleaning. Also, if you can’t do stairs, don’t stay here. There are three sets of them to walk up to get to the door. There was a pool and hot tub, but we were so busy each day we didn’t get to check them out. It’s a lovely mountain top community with a small market and bar and grill just a short 3 minute drive away. Overall, it was a nice stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. It was very cozy and had all basic amenities. The overall cleanliness was good, but it could use some deep cleaning. Dishes and basic toiletries were provided though we only received 2 rolls of tp for a family of four for a week. We ended up having to buy more. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, but don’t expect to wash big loads. It’s large enough for 2-3 towels and that’s about it, but nice to have it for small loads or quick washes. We had a large deck off of the condo with a pretty view of the hillside. We even saw some deer walking around. The deck and deck furniture could use a good cleaning. Because of that, we didn’t hang out on the deck. Bed was comfortable and we loved that there were dvds to watch and board games to play on the downtime. The only downside was that there was no ac. I didn’t think to check for that when we made our reservations and staying in mid-July, we were very hot in there. The windows open at night cooled the room down for a couple nights, then the smoke rolled in and we had no way to cool down in the evenings. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our drive up the mountainside to get to the condo.
