Very comfortable and peaceful

The property was very quiet, and conveniently located close to Rotarua. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The horses and chickens on site delighted my children.

Loved our stay 😍

Was a cute cottage, with good facilities, not too far from Rotorua centre. Owners were super lovely, and had a booklet with information including the animals. Monty the horse came up to the fence. Would definitely stay again.

The pillows and beds were softer than I like, but that's a personal preferences.

So happy to have found this place!

Such a lovely place! Clean, well-furnished and comfy cottage. Quiet and peaceful environment away from the town centre yet conveniently near enough. Tracey and Colin are superb hosts, made us feel right at home, giving us useful tips on things to do and see. Wonderful to interact with their resident pets - dogs, chickens and horses. Highly recommended!!

Piece of heaven on earth! Loved being on the farm! So quiet and safe!

LOVED EVERYTHING!!!! This is such a beautiful cottage on a farm complete with horses, alpaca, chickens, sheep and a very wonderful dog named Lexi! Loved having the bush and stream and pond! The cottage was well-equipped with everything needed! Excellent location to all activities in Rotorua and Taupo. Luck for us, we were able to extend our stay an extra night for a total of 4 nights. Did not want to leave this piece of heaven on earth! Tracey and Colin are wonderful hosts. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Restful, slept well. Easy relaxed location. Felt safe.

Location was good, easy to find. Could cook there easily, good WiFi good tv. Super nice owners that kept their distance but offered to help when necessary.

Exceptional

Tracey and Collin are really nice . Neighbours (hens, horse and lamas!!) were a great and funny surprise. All clean and tidy . Silence at night. I recomend absolutely. Thanks for all!

Convenience, Comfort and Privacy

The location was great, only 7 mins drive to Ngongataha and 15 to Rotorua. It was very quiet and we really enjoyed the spaciousness and privacy, as well as the rural outlook and watching the chickens! The WiFi was excellent and so was the range of TV content. It was quite wet for the 3 days that we stayed and the extra space was important . We had everything we needed , it all worked well and was very comfortable , with a friendly welcome from our host to get us off to a good start !

We knew there was only one bathroom on the ground floor but getting down the stairs during the night was a reminder that we're not as young as we used to be!. It would be really useful to have a mirror in the upstairs area, though. There was only one, in the bathroom.

A wonderful time -wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a warm welcome from Tracy. The place was exceptional-enormous for the two of us and very well equipped. It was very clean and we slept so well upstairs. We loved the views from all the windows. We had a bbq and sat in our garden to watch the wild life. It was special. We particularly liked the animal vibe with chickens, ducks and Monty the horse. There were alpacas next door. We loved this.
