The bedroom has a king size bed (plus room for a travel cot), an en-suite with a large double walk-in shower, and a large fitted walk-in wardrobe. Everywhere is heated by efficient easy-to-operate electric radiators, plus an electric flame-effect log stove which creates a cosy glow to sit by in the evening.

Outside there is a private cobbled courtyard with a decked area hosting a gas barbecue, rattan sofa and drinks table, four-seater table with parasol, and a luxury touch spa hot tub which has ergonomic loungers for deliciously deep immersion. This courtyard is entirely private and secure.

Everything at West Mead is user-friendly... The kitchen has a fridge freezer, oven, microwave, slow cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Next to the cottage there is masses of private off road parking which easily accommodates bike or canoe trailers as well as vehicles. There is also secure storage for bikes or buggy and a tradition pulley airer to cope with the wettest walking gear.
