In addition, the renowned 679-acre Robinson Nature Preserve is just outside your front door for those who enjoy bird watching, walking/hiking on miles of nature trails, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and catch/release fishing. Hungry for a delicious meal or thirsting for something cold and refreshing; just 1 mile away is the exceptional Floridays Woodfire Grill & Outdoor Bar / Compass Hotel complex, which may be the finest bayfront spot around. Kayak storage tube available for use at Robinson Preserve, please inquire as to the availability at time of reservation.

Perico Island community HOA requires all renters to submit an application for residency. You will be required to complete the application at closing of rental agreement. You will also need to submit a check for $150 with your application to cover processing fees. We will be glad to assist you in this process.

Located on the eponymous island between Bradenton and Anna Maria Island — “perico” means “parakeet” in Spanish — the neighborhood is blessed by proximity and easy access to pristine Florida terrains. The 679-acre Robinson Preserve, a bird sanctuary, lies to the east, while the 176-acre Perico Preserve borders it immediately to the west. Perico Island is a flourishing tropical setting with interior lakes and ponds. Many roads are canopied by large trees that were there long before the community was developed. Our home has a nice pond out back, just a block away you will find the much larger lagoons that offer panoramic vistas of Robinson Preserve’s lush wetlands. All of Perico Island's residents enjoy resort-style amenities. A community clubhouse, fitness center, heated pool and spa and tennis courts overlook one of the lagoons.
