About this house rental
Our home “Absolutely Shore” at Deep Creek Lake is located on a quiet cove that provides lakefront access to calm waters from our private dock. The playground is next to the fire pit for hours of outdoor enjoyment in our spacious backyard. We are unique with a level yard and quiet street making it a great place for families of all ages to play inside and out.
New as of Summer 2024: we provide a MD State Park pass for your use during your stay. The MD State Park pass allows you (1 vehicle, up to 10 people) free entry to any state park, unlimited boat launching at the park, and 10% discount on all state-operated concessions items.
Firewood is included and available at the house for you to use in the fire pit!
Our home has plenty of extras inside including a well-stocked kitchen with double appliances, game room with pool table and bar, two gas fireplaces, smart TVs, k-cup machine, drip coffee maker, crock-pot, ice makers, WIFI, and plenty of seating in the living/family room and dining room. Outside we have a hot tub, basketball hoop, large private dock, off street parking, upper deck, lower patio, gas grills, porch swing, playground, fire-pit, variety of seating, and absolutely beautiful lake views. We have 2 restaurant style child's highchairs along with a plastic set of plates and cups.
Bed layout: King, King, Queen, Full+single bunk, triple single bunk, Full (Murphy bed)
Utilities: Central air conditioning, central heat, ceiling fans, cable/internet, weekly trash pickup (twice a week all summer)
Fresh linens, including beach towels, are included at no extra fee. Upon arrival all beds will be made and plush towels will be provided for each guest. Accurate guest counts are important to ensure correct supplies are provided. The driveway can easily hold 4-5 vehicles off the street. A boat trailer would count as a vehicle. Our private dock can hold 2 boats and is available through the summer months. Launch your boat at the nearby MD State Park boat launch. (4 miles away). Checkout the Oakland Farm Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays all summer.
We are renting our home directly to your family and we want to do everything possible to ensure you enjoy your stay. Any extra fees you pay are required by VRBO and not distributed to owners. Unlike most of the other properties in the area, we manage our own home and do not add resort fees, surcharges, admin fees, guest fees, or hot tub fees. We have exterior security cameras that are enabled when the house is vacant.

House was better than the pictures! Great back yard for kids! Great fire pit! And bedrooms and bathrooms were all perfect size. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Loved playing the hidden gnome game and kids loved this house. Definitely would stay again!

Our week's stay at this house went so fast with so much fun. The house is CLEAN and friendly, startomg with a nice basket of gifts and a card from the owner tp welcome us.
Our group of 12 enjoyed the dual applicances in the kitchen (especially two refrigerators).
The huge dining room table fit us all comfortably - important to us as we split up dinner duty among three families & eat in every day.
Lovely porch with an overhang with plenty of seating for us all to hang out with books and coffees and other beverages while watching the little kids enjoy the playground/playset.
A very short little path leads to the dock where we kept our rented kayaks and on a couple of different days a rental boat. We all played & swam off this dock that is protected from any fast boat traffic.
Fresh clean sheets were on the beds and beautiful fluffy towels were abundant. They even provided hotel quality robes in each room.
Big pool room (bring your own pool stick if you are serious about the game but most of us were not!)
The owners were super responsive for our booking and providing us with the access code when we arrived. They checked in with us via text and were very helpful.
The location of this house is perfect. The street is well populated on the right side (lake side) and wooded on the left, giving us lot of deer to enjoy and even a bear that meandered through the yard, much the the delight of the kids.

Beautiful home! Very clean! Everything was ready for us when we arrived. We took our 14 yr old daughter with us and she had a ball! We wish we stayed longer. I hope to visit again next year.

Had an amazing get away! House was clean upon arrival and owners were great with communication. The boat slips were a must since we had two boats for fishing. Hot tub was a great addition for the kids as well as the pool table for adults to enjoy in the evening. Will definitely be looking at renting this house again for a future stay!

It’s always a plus when your stay is even better than the pictures! This home had it all. The views were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. It felt like I was in someone’s home, not a a vacation home. The kitchen had everything to make cooking and baking easy. The house was well furnished, and the beds, in particular, were very comfortable. The hot tub was a delight! Excellent stargazing! We had two families of four stay in the house, and there was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable! The huge dining room table that we could all sit at was awesome. And the location was super convenient! We didn’t need to communicate with the hosts, but they reached out to us to make sure everything was going well. We would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great stay at this cozy 4 bedroom. Owners thought of everything making arrival really easy. Tvs and internet worked great. Location is excellent since it's quiet but 5 mins drive from main food places. We would stay here again for sure.

Totally amazing and was everything they advertised. Had some correspondence with Amy and she is wonderful to deal with. We could not have been happier and will be renting this place again next year. Waiting to coordinate dates with the family.

Fantastic, well stocked home in a great location with tons of amenities, especially for young families. Comfortable furnishings and linens, very clean, and great communication from the owners. Quiet cove was perfect for fishing and docking our boat, and kids had a blast on the swing set in the yard each day. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Absolutely Shore! The location was PERFECT - a quiet cove with easy access to the main parts of the lake and the most popular treats (pizza, ice cream, donuts - all the health foods!). The house was PERFECT as well - so clean and spacious and well appointed - everything we needed was there and the kitchen with double everything met our every need. All of the amenities - pool table, hot tub, corn hole, spacious deck, private dock, televisions, comfy beds and linens, large dining room table, plenty of bathrooms, and more - we couldn't have been happier. And the wildlife (birds, frogs, deer, groundhogs, chipmunks) just made our stay all the more wonderful. Thank you, Rick and Amy, for providing such an oasis for our precious family time.

We enjoyed our stay at Absolutely Shore. The house had everything we needed. Our family will definitely be back in the Summer time. Owners answer any questions immediately and provide towels and linens for everyone. You won’t need anything but food and your clothes. They provide everything at the house. Very spacious and right on the lake.

Rick and Amy were amazing hosts and we had a fabulous time staying at their place for a winter weekend getaway! House had everything we needed and the space was sparkling clean and very well maintained. We had little ones in our group and the house is kid friendly, the kids loved the pool table and bunk beds.. We absolutely loved the hot tub. Kitchen has double fridge and appliances so plenty of room to cook and store groceries.
Some of the finishes in the home are a little bit dated but it didn’t hinder our stay at all, overall the home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Great location as well. We had a great time and thank you!

This Holiday Get-away was a true home away from home. We own at Massanutten Four Seasons, Wyndham and are Members with Palace Resorts and we have never vacationed in a place that had everything that we needed. The only thing that we needed were groceries, toothpaste and clothes. The owners have thought of everything. Communication was great.
My family and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We hope to return in the spring or summer so that we can support the local businesses and take in the beauty.

We had a wonderful experience from the initial booking and throughout the stay. The house was clean, comfortable, situated in a quiet area, and big enough for a large group. We enjoyed all the amenities including waterfront access, hot tub, pool table, fire pit, yard space for outdoor games, and close proximity to hiking trails. Rick and Amy were amazing with communication and even checked in on us to see how the stay was going. We would definitely return.

We visited Absolutely Shore with two young families (4 kids aged 4, 3, 1, 4mo) and had a great long weekend. I couldn't think about how much fun it would be for an adult weekend as well. House has it all - waterfront, firepit, hottub, playground, billiards, TVs galore, 2x kitchen appliances. Fun weekend at Deep Creek!

this house is incredible, it is much more spectacular than what you see in the photos, we loved every detail. In this house there is always something to do, there are many board games and a pool table but without a doubt what we enjoyed the most was the jacuzzi. I am sure that whenever we travel to deep creek lake we will choose this house to stay. 100% recommended!

This is an amazing property. We have vacationed here the past 2 years. The house is beautiful and has every thing you would ever need. It's nestled along the woods and the lake. Wild life can be seen in the yards surrounding the property. It's a great place for kids to adults. We love the peacefulness of the area. The road is not busy, so biking and walking is a must. We spent every day on the lake. Absolutely wonderful!!

The house was actually nicer than the pictures. Close proximity to all the restaurants. Highly recommend Ace’s Run and Dutch’s at Silver Tree. Used the dock for a weekly pontoon boat rental from Aquatic Center. Well stocked with supplies and towels - greatly appreciated.
The Njord game was a nice touch.

We loved our stay at Paradise Point. The location is fantastic- you’re in a quiet neighborhood but only minutes from all the action. The house is beautiful and is amazingly outfitted with all you could possibly need. The beds are excellent and very comfortable. We have already booked here again!

We had a wonderful time at Paradise Point. We absolutely loved the quite cove location, it was perfect for floating and jet skiing with very little other boat traffic. The level lawn, play set and basketball hoop were a big hit with everyone. Lots of great little extras like beach towels, laundry baskets in every room, double appliances in the kitchen (super helpful) and an extra ice maker in the pool table room. The outdoor deck space with the covered awning was great since you always get a little rain on the lake and can still sit outside. The only thing we did miss was being able to eat at a table outside, but other than that … the house was a big hit!

This was a great property! The house was set up great & fully stocked. The location was perfect, it was close to the state park, restaurants & shopping yet secluded. Double stoves, ovens, dishwashers & refrigerators, perfect for multiple families. A large dining room table & plenty of seating in the family room. The bedrooms were spacious & comfortable. We really enjoyed the game room with a pool table. Outdoors was a double deck & a hot tub. Also a private dock where we swam, fished & launched our kayaks in the quiet cove.

Absolutely wonderful place
Highly recommend!!! Beautiful property! Very large yard which is perfect for the kids to play and run around. Very kid friendly house. Many hours spent fishing and swimming on the dock. Lots of wildlife! Very clean house, well stocked and organized. Owners communicated very quickly. We had no issues at all. It was a perfect place for our family vacation.
