Updated interior, comfortable beds. The pool was fantastic.

Nothing fancy but it has the amenities needed to get by. The pool was amazing for the kids and we used it for hours every day. I could hear the waves from the ocean sitting on the front porch, and it was only a few minutes to walk across the street to the ocean. Only 25 minutes from nags head which was nice if we wanted more to do but we really didn’t need that - it was nice to relax in a more calm area as opposed to the crazy rat race of Nags Head.

The house had a great location.
Area was quiet.
House was nice if maintained.
After being contacted by Ms. Sharon I was amazed that they offered to clean the house which was not cleaned.
Refridgerater, microwave, master bath were not cleaned. Mirror, faucet still had tooth brush splashes everwhere. Human hair in drawers, fridge, shower, and on toilet.
Everything was dusty! I am not talking about a little. This house has not seen a clean in a while.
Mold in bathroom, closets.
Carpets were not vacuum cleaned.
Animal hair everywhere. We own a dog as well and put her in boarding where we live, so I am used to hair, but want my vacation home normal clean upon arrival.
Outhouse was dirty.
Outside shower did not work.
Home repairs are needed with light bulbs, deck, windows, shades.
Of course we had a severe thunderstorm and it rained through the kitchen door.
Most unacceptable was the bedding smelling like the previous tenants. My younger daughter had no bedding at all.
We did find blankets etc in the closet for her.
Ms. Sharon stated someone would come by to clean. She had our permission to enter. Sadly, this never happened.
I have enough pictures as proof!
Sadly, this experience ruined all after a desparaetely needed vacation
I just wanted peace, and not run after people to make sure our quiet home is clean!
Not worth the money!
I recommend a different agency or hotel.

Cute 3 BR home with nice bathrooms And great porches for outdoor viewing. Appreciate the outdoor shower and extra hoses to wash off the sand. Adorable kitchen.

This house has an elevator, which is great. Kitchen is nicely equipped. Short, easy walk to the beach. Nice pool that can be heated.

Very clean! Probably the cleanest house we've ever rented. Elevator is great for luggage and person in our party who has trouble with steps. Pool was awesome!

Great stay in Rodanthe
We drove down from Maine to stay in Rodanthe the first week of May 2022. We were able to check in immediately upon arrival. The house smelled clean and you could tell the cleaners had just left because the person who checks their work and picks up the dirty linens pulled in behind us. My only complaint is that we didn't realize until our final day that there was a black bin with a yellow top that had additional linens in it. I actually bought kitchen towels and extra hand towels because I couldn't find any in what the cleaning crew had set out for us. We also called and asked for the pool heat to be turned on 6 days prior to our arrival. The management team forgot to tell the pool guy. I called the management company on the second day and they sent the pool guy over. The pool guy was great!
The house set up was great. I liked the open concept. I loved having decks surrounding the house. You could always find the perfect spot to sit outside. If I could make a renovation to the house, I would put a stairway from the kitchen down to the pool area. (Not a complaint... just a suggestion to the owners if they were ever going to live there.)
Our stay was amazing. The weather was sunny and in the 80s almost every day of our trip. We did lots of obvious tourist things: lighthouses, museums, wildlife sanctuary, the ferry to Okracoke Island, the Wright Brother's Museum. We also spent time at the beach and time at the pool. One morning we went to Wanchese, as my husband is a commercial fishermen and wanted to find where the "working boat" tied up. We found The Landing Grill which is more of a sit down have a full meal kinda place and O'Neal's Sea Harvest which is a seafood market and lunch place. Another favorite was the Wright Brother's Museum (our teenager loved it) and went out to eat at the Black Pelican in Kitty Hawk. Very good food, service and atmosphere. We also enjoyed going to watch the kite surfers in the evenings and ended up getting take out at Waterman's, which was okay. Our son was a big fan of Lisa's Pizza. The new bridge wasn't open yet. I suspect the neighborhood will be better suited for pedestrians once it opens. The ladies at Island Convenience were nice and had me try boiled peanuts when I asked about them. They laughed at me and said, "They taste like dirt, huh?"

Disappointing weather, soso house
Vacasa is hard to contact. Never received answers to text or call prior to arrival. Email replies were very slow, if at all. 4 different people gave 4 different answers to check in time. I tried fir 2 weeks before lur arrival date. Very confusing. No dish towels or bath mat. We had to buy them ourselves. We couldn't call Vacasa C/S because the roads were closed, so they wouldn't have been able to get to us anyway , plus phone and internet went out Friday afternoon. Weather, which you can't control, was horrible. We were stuck at the house, inside until Thursday. So basically, we had a 2 day vacation. We will NOT be dealing with Vacasa ever again !!! (Weather aside)

Home is as advertised but could’ve been cleaner upon arrival. Kitchen counters had some crumbs and the fixtures and entertainment center had a layer of dust. Not horrible, but worth mentioning for those who may be more sensitive to pet hair/dust, etc.
During our month long stay we found the home to be outfitted with everything we needed.
The good:
Master bath appeared newly remodeled.
New gas range and new grill by the pool.
Water is consistent temp and good pressure. Internet was fast and reliable.
The not so good:
Aside from the master bath and kitchen, the home and decor is dated, dusty and well worn.
Some of the blinds didn’t function properly.
There is some mold near the ceiling in the bathroom and around the windows.
The master mattress is a bit lumpy and squeaks on entry and exit.
The garbage bins were dirty throughout the home. We saw two roaches during our 30 day stay.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this home if you can overlook the few issues mentioned above.
One other note that’s not related to the home. The road leading to the home is sand/gravel and has many deep potholes. Renters with small cars or cars with low ground clearance beware.

We had a wonderful time. Property is a five minute walk to beach. Complaints are minor and some have been brought up in other reviews. Would stay here again. Thank you for opening your property to our family.

Disappointed
My family and I stayed at this property Sept 11-18 2021. When we first arrived, we unpacked and made the beds. The first discovery we made was a BANDAID stuck on the sheets that were supposed to be clean and sanitized! Next we discovered several dirty dishes left on the floor behind the night stands. There was also a large amount of dust and dirt on the headboard in the master bedroom. I took it upon myself to clean this off before we slept in the room. Clumps of dog hair surrounded the furniture throughout the house. There was what appeared to be blood spatters on the curtain in the living area ( Also saw this mentioned in a previous review). We went to use the oven and discovered that it did not work. In the bathroom of the master room there was black mold all over the celling and grime in the corners of the floor in the shower. When we made our way outside we discovered a broken board outside the living area that needs to be addressed immediately, someone could easily fall through the floor! Outside the other side of the house there was an old baby crib that contained a rusty screw and an empty corona bottle??? When we went to use the outdoor grill it was not clean and still had meant left on it from whoever used it last. the debris in the bottom also caught fire and we had to stop and remove the grates and clean it ourselves before attempting to use it again. While cleaning it we noticed a big hole in the bottom where it had rusted out and there was not a grease tray. The whole thing was / is a fire hazard and needs to be replaced amongst other things. Over all we were not satisfied with our stay nor the customer service.
*** NOTE*** I did reach out to VACASA 5 days ago and nothing has been resolved.

Beautiful home
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Seacret Paradise! The pool was amazing, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the walk to the beach was short. We had beautiful views of the July 4th fireworks from the 3rd floor deck where we also watched the sunrise, sunset, and gazed at the stars. The elevator was an added bonus to make transporting groceries up to the kitchen a breeze. The furniture was comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out. Definitely would recommend this home to others!

Great location, but not as clean as I expected.
The location is great! Nice easy walk across the street to the beach. Elevator was a huge plus for the in-laws. Overall, the house had what we needed, but it could use some maintenance, some updates, and much better cleaning. I had expected more thorough cleaning due to the pandemic. And I suppose if they did sanitize it might not be obvious and I'll have to take their word for it. But we had to do our own deep cleaning to feel comfortable. A lot more dirt from previous guests and dust collected on surfaces than I've seen at other rental properties. Too many things were broken or on the verge of breaking (wine cooler doesn't work, fridge water dispenser is hard to use without making a mess, gas grill works but legs are rusted and ready to collapse, porch screen old and coming loose, etc.).

We loved the location, comfortable furniture, awesome kitchen with anything you would need all in good condition. The beds were comfortable and had directv in all rooms. We loved the balconies with great views and ample comfortable seating, Every room had balcony access. The elevator worked well and was easy to use when needed. The pool was heated (we paid extra) and was cleaned twice while we were here. The carpet upstairs is new. The furniture was nice and all worked well. The bathrooms were not very clean. Mold was around the faucets and drains in both the sink and shower in both full bathrooms. There was no pet hair but the family room had pet stains by the door. There were what looked to be blood drops on the blinds. The Windows could use painted or replaced there is mold and water damage along the edges. Linens were provided but not explained. Some beds were made and some were not. Some had a blanket covering the mattress pad only. The sheets were in a tote on the main level which we finally found after looking through all the closets etc. some of the blankets were visibly dirty. There were dirty sheets left on the bunk bed... You are required to vacuum, sweep, empty garbage and wash the dishes before you leave- I’m not sure what housekeeping is cleaning...
Beautiful home with great amenities. I hope housekeeping improves.

Great house
We absolutely loved the many decks and spent time hanging out and reading on all of them. The house had tons of furniture and cookware, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The pool was nice and we were able to use it a few times since it was mid April and pretty chilly out. We enjoyed doing a few nearby activities like a nature walk at Pea Island wildlife refuge. One of the only downsides is there isn't much to do in Rodanthe and we had to drive 30+ minutes to get to a real grocery store or many of the Outer Banks' main attractions, like the Jockey Ridge sand dunes or the Elizebathan Botanical Gardens.

Perfect for our family of six! Furniture updates were a plus! Enjoyed porches a lot! Elevator great!
We enjoyed this house a lot! Perfect for our family of six! Had some updates that were nice! We loved the screened porch furniture and sat out each morning! The deck furniture was nice as well! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! Elevator was an added bonus! Family enjoyed pool too! Only complaint is the cleaning could have been better upon arrival. Dishwasher hinge is still broken and one blind in a sliding door needs to be repaired. Nothing major...we enjoyer our stay!! Thanks!

A Nice Stay After Hurricane Dorian
We had a great week, weather was decent even after the hurricane. Our biggest challenge were the flies after the storm they were really biting. An hour prior to our arrival the management company called to let us know the elevator still was not working (as told in a review from June) but they were nice enough to offer to help us with our luggage. The house was decent and we’ll stocked. It could have been cleaner for me but nothing out of the ordinary for a beach house. I wish they didn’t have so much carpeting it never feels clean. But the hardwood through the kitchen dining and living area made cleanup easy. The kitchen was great however the dishwasher door was still broken as mentioned in a previous review. It almost fell on my foot thank God I got out of the way in time. But they really should consider fixing it before someone gets hurt. The dining table is good for large families. We really enjoyed the pool since the ocean was so rough and couldn’t go swimming in it this week. After a lot of wind the pool had sand in it and the property managers were quick to get maintenance to the house . . But wow that water was cold! I still would not have paid for the heater though. I have noticed in other rentals with pools many are going with solar heat which is much more affordable and eco friendly. The bedrooms were on the small side and not a lot of room to stow luggage etc. One thing I would recommend to the owner is the upstairs bedroom had a bunkbed which was blocking the door. I would get rid of that bed or try and reconfigure it. The mattresses were just OK, not terrible but not great either, but I think the downstairs bedroom could use a new mattress pad. We brought our own linens for the beds and figures, one thing I forgot. Also we had difficulty getting the TVs to go on but once we did they were fine until the end the TV in the downstairs bedroom stopped working. The remotes were also missing for the DVD players. We didn’t use the screened in deck because they had been damaged during the storm and property management was aware. I wouldn’t expect them to be repaired so quickly but it would have been nice to sit out there with the flies at bay. Not a whole lot of restaurants down this way but definitely check out Watermen’s they had the best tuna bites! Fun atmosphere great drinks and amazing sunsets. We brought our pup he made new friends. Fishing wasn’t great for the hubs this time but still another great 0BX vacation!

Hatteras Reality is not a good company to help you have a good vacation
The elevator stayed broken down. The keyless entry was messed up. An left us locked out of the house a couple of times. The master bedroom door leading outside would not lock. The dish washer door fell down with no spring to support it. The bathroom sink was stopped up. It was horrible.
