Our home is amidst countless food and entertainment options within walking distance! There are multiple grocery and convenience stores within a 5-10 minute drive to take full advantage of our spacious kitchen, but if you’d rather eat out, you’re surrounded by tons of food options to delight the ‘foodie’ in your group! There are so many treasured spots, but a few of our local favorites are listed below, and almost all of the restaurants have patios with heaters for safe outdoor dining, which also creates a wonderful city ambiance to welcome you to Denver truly.
Nearby at Cheesman Park and City Park, the exploration opportunities are at your fingertips! In Cheesman Park, you can spend an afternoon at the Denver Botanic Gardens for a relaxing stroll through the grounds to find a wide variety of plant species. City Park is home to the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature and Science, with trails leading around Ferril Lake and throughout the park.
In Denver for medical reasons?... St. Joseph Hospital and Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center is a short 3 blocks away, along with a vast selection of other medical offices and institutes located within a roughly 5 block radius!
Several venues such as The Roxy, Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, Fillmore Auditorium, The Ogden Theatre, Paramount Theatre, and the Bluebird Theater are all within a 10-minute drive. You’ll also be just 15 minutes from the heart of downtown known for its trendy shopping and dining spots. Be sure to stop by Larimer Square lined with historic buildings, trendy boutiques, and restaurants.
Area recommendations:
- Atelier by Radex - "French-inspired with a casual, friendly vibe." Owned by renowned Chef Radek Cerny, known for culinary artistry. Perfect for celebrations or date nights. Always splurge on at least one serving of the Ravioli de Homard for the table. (Walking distance)
- Weathervane Cafe - Located directly across 17th street. Hipster with a dose of hominess, this gem of a cafe is not only adorably quaint but has the best coffee in the neighborhood. The Happy Camper Latte is their staple (and for good reason) and basically, everything on the menu is a must-try. You can order online for pick up!
- Chocolate Lab - Indulgent and innovative! Chocolate-centric restaurant, cocktail bar, and chocolate shop... enough said, right? Provides an entertaining culinary experience that is great for groups.
- Bruz Beers on Colfax - Creative local brews inspired by traditional Belgian beer. The downtown taproom has a patio that's the perfect laid-back oasis to Colfax's usual overload of the senses. If you're into “poppin’ bottles”, they have some of the best Champagne Beers I've ever had!
- Dos Santos - Super hip Taco Tuesday spot, but also good on any day that ends in a 'y'. The hibiscus margarita and chicken tinga nachos are a perfect pair.
- Thin Man - Named after the Dashiell Hammett novel, this place is a bit of mystery with its red lights and walls lined with catholic imagery and crucifixes. But its oddness somehow makes for good ambiance, and the place is always packed with people of all persuasions making it one of Denver's most inclusive and eclectic dive bars.

We recently spent a weekend at this Vrbo in Denver with six of my buddies and it was a fantastic spot. The location is great. Plenty of coffee shops nearby for the mornings and we were surrounded by some awesome food options, from sushi to sandwiches and solid Mexican food.
Getting to Union Square and Coors Field for the game was a breeze. The house itself had plenty of bedrooms, which was a blessing for us big, stinky middle-aged dudes. We all had our own space, which is key for a group like ours.
The place was spotless when we arrived, and the host was super communicative, which we really appreciated. Best part was how simple the check-out instructions were. No crazy list of chores—just take out the trash and lock up. In a world where so many places make you feel like you’re their cleaning crew, this was a welcome change.
Wonderful spot for families or a group of friends looking to enjoy Denver. Highly recommend it.

Five adults met in Denver to enjoy a concert at Red Rocks and take in a downtown Denver summer weekend. We wanted a rental home with four bedrooms and preferably four bathrooms located close to all major downtown venues. This home was perfect for us! Very clean and well stocked large and bright kitchen and four very nice newer remodeled baths. Huge master bath had a bidet! We had a slight delay getting into the unit after paying for early check in - which was appreciated but we did have to wait outside around 15 minutes while messaging with the host about the electronic lock pad not working. They expediently got a resolution and we were inside. It was just faulty batteries so there should be no worries about that in the near future. The home is huge - 5 levels if you include the basement extra king bedroom. All of the beds we used were comfortable. There are lots of stairs so this is a place great for people with no issues with that. Overall we all thought it was a unique and lovely place to stay and close to everywhere we went.

This was truly one of the most unique homes we have ever seen in terms of the structural layout. The 9 of us had plenty of space to spread out, over the 4+ story townhome. The location is great and was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The property was super clean and well stocked with linens and towels. I would warn any future guest to really pay attention to parking restrictions on the street, as we managed to get two parking tickets during our stay.

We had an amazing stay. It was gorgeous and so very comfortable. We would give it a 10/10 especially since there was no ridiculous or fussy clean-up instructions. Anyone going to Denver/Cherry Creek would be lucky to stay here!!!!!

Our family spent the week in this wonderful house while in Denver for my son’s wedding; he lives a couple of blocks away, so we were in a familiar neighborhood.
Everyone had private space, and we especially loved sunsets on the rooftop patio.
Parking is easy, the house is well appointed, and the neighborhood is close to everything.
It really was the perfect place for us.

Couldn't ask for a more accommodation property, every dish you can imagine in the property and even lots of extra towels, blankets! Nice, clean and welcoming...perfect for our snowy getaway!

Obviously, we love staying at this bright and airy home in a great location and quiet neighborhood because it was our second time staying here. We loved walking to a local coffee shop that had fresh pastries every morning!
The bedrooms are all very private, the house is very clean and well kept. The kitchen has everything you can possibly need and I love how there were spices and essentials you need for cooking a few basis.
We were confused on how to adjust the heat and the property manager responded within 5 minutes and helped us understand how to operate the thermostat.
We can not say enough positive things about the house and location. So convenient to many places in Denver. Also walkable to a few local restaurants.
Only side note is be prepared for a lot of stairs in this townhome.

Staying at this property was a dream from start to finish. The property manager was communicative leading up to and throughout the stay without being bothersome. The home was spacious, beautiful and spotless. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds were comfortable and the location was convenient. My only complaint was that the space was a little drafty (and we couldn’t figure out how to turn up the heat lol) but it was winter so that’s to be expected. This is definitely a property I would revisit if I’m ever back in Denver with a group of friends.

We were so close and convenient to downtown, the 16th Street Mall and Coors Field. There are so many wonderful places to eat within walking distance. We felt very comfortable walking to any one of them! The house was large and everyone had their own space to sleep and the kitchen/dining area was a nice place for us to gather as a family and plan our day. The beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet at night. Our vacation was perfect! This house and location felt very safe and were a big part of the success of our trip! Thank you!

Relaxing Metro Tower
The space was newer, well maintained, and very posh! Located on a quite street, but close to some of the liveliest parts of Denver & great restaurants on 17th st.. Though it was on the street, parking was plentiful right in front of the building every day we stayed. Plenty of space between bed rooms so it was very private anywhere in the home. I loved how the congregation spaces (living room and kitchen) were both on the middle floor of the house! It felt like that space was the HEART of the home! Very nice and I'll utilize it again.

Nice downtown rental for family stay.
Nice rental with separate baths for each sleeping room. Accommodates three couples easily with space for younger children. Has a nice rooftop sitting area, which we did not use since it was fairly cold during our stay. Very close to downtown and City Park area. Some bistros and coffee shops within walking distance. The unit is very multi level, which was fine for us but may be an issue for some. Figuring out the lighting was a challenge and some of the window blinds did not work. Kitchen/dining/sitting area was very group friendly. Overall a good stay.

Interesting house, lacking communication.
The house was nestled into a walkable community by an nearby school. Even though the only parking was street parking, we never had much issue finding a spot close to the house.
The house was gorgeous with nice decoration. Be prepared of lots of stairs! Sound didn’t travel much between floors or bedrooms which was really nice. Plenty of kitchen equipment and dishes available as well. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our party of 7.
However, we realized the Wednesday night when we arrived that the fridge wasn’t working. It was hovering between 55-60 degrees, preventing us from fully utilizing it. We reached out that night to alert the host, but the proceeding communication with the host over this was slow and lacked a sense of urgency. We didn’t get a visit from the maintenance crew until Friday when it was discovered that the part required wouldn’t be available until Monday (the day we left.)
After not hearing from the host, I reached out to inform them of what the maintenance crew had told us. A partial refund was offered, but I had to regularly follow up regarding the amount and status. As of this review, I have yet to receive it though I am assured it is in the mail.

Wedding Weekend
I rented this home for my family to stay in for the weekend of my wedding and it was great!! So spacious. Enough room for my parents, 2 sisters and their husbands and children, and myself for one night! The common areas were so open and spacious and there was still enough room for everyone to go to their own corners of the home to have their space! We couldn’t have asked for a better place! We also used this home for me and my bridesmaids to all get ready in the day of my wedding. I’m telling you, this home is SO spacious! Beautifully decorated as well. My parents wished the amount of steps in this house was better advertised. There are A LOT! You have to go to a different floor to use the restroom if you are in the kitchen/living area. The home could have been cleaned a *little* better. If you walk barefoot in the home the bottom of your feet turn black- not sure if it’s the hard wood that needs better cleaning or maybe the carpet. But if you keep slippers on, it’s no problem!
Over all a great place to stay! And ps- the views from the rooftop are AMAZING! Would rent again! Thanks! The Harvey Family

Great Location and Service
We had a great time staying in Denver at this property. The house is spacious with plenty of space to accommodate a large group, and it is just a short walk or Uber ride away from pretty much everything in the city. We had a few issues with the Wifi in the house, but other than that our stay was easy and the service we received was great.

The neighborhood is quasi historic with a lot of neat restaurants within walking distance.
Overall, it was a great place to stay with many amenities within walking distance and not a far drive to downtown. We had plenty of space for everyone.

Want to go back!
We looked specifically for a VRBO with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. I couldn't believe our good fortune to find this one! It was incredible. It was clean, modern, uncluttered, and provided all of the amenities we needed. It was very spacious -- there was ample room for all of us to be together and also privacy when needed. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed to make meals. Beds, pillows and bed linens were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice; towels and soaps provided. There are lots of steps, but it wasn't a problem for anyone in our group. There was a baby gate that we used for the kids. There were outside spaces that we used, including grilling on a small deck. We didn't have any parking issues with our two vehicles. This VRBO is close to many of the places we wanted to go. We would definitely recommend this VRBO and hope we can return someday. Communication with the property manager was great -- our questions were answered quickly.
