Recent Updates to the home include 3 fully renovated bathrooms, recently painted throughout, ocean facing outdoor bar seating, new outdoor fully wooded common areas (walkways and driveway to the beach side).
As renters of many homes over the years, some truly amazing and others less so, we have taken the best of those experiences and applied them here so you have an exceptional vacation from initial booking through your stay. Should you book our home, we hope you make as many memories, smiles, and laughs as we have. Now, about the house...
- Reverse floor plan, open concept kitchen and living spaces with elevated ceilings and most importantly, expansive 180 degree ocean views.
- Located directly across from a beach access (if you have never been to BHI, many houses, even those near the ocean, require you to load a cart and drive to a beach access. Our home is located directly in front of beach access #17, no loading and driving necessary!).
- Centrally located on the island, making trips to any attraction easy (BHI Club, Shoals Club, East Beach, the Market, the Marina), no trekking across the full island for anything.
- New beds, pillows and linens: 1 king, 2 queens (one with a twin trundle underneath), 1 bunk bed (with a full bed, twin bunk above, and twin trundle below).
- Each bedroom has its own dedicated full bathroom (three baths renovated in 2023), with a 1/2 bath upstairs.
- Both club memberships (BHI and Shoals Club) are available to purchase for your stay. * While typically not an issue, some new rules we do not control, established by each club, are in place to limit guest memberships week to week. Please contact the respective clubs to inquire about availability for your desired stay.
- Newer carts (see pics): 4 passenger lifted and 6 passenger high speed limo (Old or bad carts can make for a less than ideal experience on the island. While any machine can have moments and issues, ours are clean, safe, and regularly professionally maintained reducing hassles for you as much as we can control).
- New smart TV's in all the bedrooms (youtube TV and Netflix are included, you can load your account for Hulu, Disney+, etc).
- High speed internet and access points to help with Zoom or Teams meetings, remote learning, and streaming entertainment. We have NetGear Orbi WiFi 6 Mesh Routers in place and the highest internet speeds available on the island.
- Elevator servicing all floors.
- Over 1,500 square feet of decking, with screened porch off the master bedroom.
- Renovated kitchen with quartz counters, wine fridge, gas stove top, high end cutlery, Keurig AND drip coffee maker.
- Beach towels, sand toys for kids, 8+ beach chairs (high and low), and a no fuss Shibumi Shade are provided to lighten the travel load of our guests.
- Laundry on the main level (the bedroom level).
- Adirondacks on all decks for relaxing moments.
- Hi power hair dryers in bathrooms so you can pack a little lighter.
- Special secondary commercial grade HVAC filtration (in addition to the usual HVAC filtration) to help fight/kill more airborne contaminants.

We go to BHI each Thanksgiving with a large group of family and friends. This house was awesome for us and our adult children as well as to entertain about 20 people for dinner. The outdoor living space is set up perfect! Kitchen is excellent for cooking for a crowd. Thanks again!

The house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and the location is perfect! September weather on Bald Head Island never disappoints - Cat 1 storm for a couple days and then blue skies after that. We will most certainly be back!

This house was everything it appears to be and more! It's beautifully decorated, with an open floor plan, incredible views of the beach and so many porches!
The house was equipped with everything we needed. Although we visited in the winter, several in our party want to go back and visit next summer!
The ease and use of golfcarts was so convenient to getting around the island. We had a group of 4 couples and were in town for a friend's wedding. The location was just a few minutes drive from everything.
Don't hesitate - book this home! The owner is incredibly kind and super responsive. We had a wonderful experience!

Such a beautiful house and the space was perfect for the five of us. Everyone had their own bathroom/shower. Also, the two golf carts came in handy for the five of us. The owner was super accommodating because we were scheduled to arrive during a tropical storm. Would stay here again! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Searenity! It was the ideal home for our group which included a 3 and 21 month old. Very well stocked in all areas, from the kitchen to the beach supplies! Jaime was very helpful and always quick to reply, although we had minimal needs, she made it all very easy and we had all info well in advance. The beach access is so convenient and we would return in a heartbeat!

I’ve vacationed on the island since I was a kid and stayed all over the island. This house by far is my favorite. The location is perfect and the house has everything you could possibly need including lovely owners. Best money spent on a vacation rental - you’ll be thrilled to stay here.

The home is newly renovated and so very well equipped and organized. The sunset views were spectacular and we could see the ocean from the front porch. We truly were able to have a vacation because everything was in working order and available for us to use. Beautifully decorated too. This home is a gem.

The upper level was great for meal prep, family dinners (we loved the round table for 8) and morning coffee or evening sunsets on the deck. The bedrooms were perfect for our two families with comfy beds, lots of private space and overall great decor/technology. The house had everything we could possibly need and the owners were super responsive and wonderful throughout the entire process. Simply the best...

The top porch offers the best unconstructed views of the ocean on the island and the adults each night sat out there telling stories and enjoying a glass of wine. We have been coming to Bald Head since 1998 and have rented all over the island but this view, location within the island and the decor of this home makes it a must to stay at. The new golf carts and bikes were a great touch and the elevator helped us with our crates of food and other supplies to bring up to the top floor where the kitchen and common space are located. Great gas grill added to the luxury as we cooked at home most nights to take advantage of the views. I suggest joining both clubs if you golf and have young kids as the pools are wonderful. Please enjoy a happy hour drink at Shoals Club to view one of my seven wonders of the world the shoals. Jamie the owner is fantastic and provides a ton of information and was very easy to communicate with. Enjoys this great escape on Bald Head Island.

Bald Head Island perfection
Had an incredible stay at this property on BHI. The house was very clean and all decor was tasteful and peaceful. Layout of the house worked well for group hangs and getting solo time. Outstanding views of the ocean from the entire top floor (living kitchen dining). We ate take out al fresco on the top porch every night (our best meal was from Jules). House came with everything you could need (great kitchen supplies, beach towels, chairs, sand toys)...so you really don't need to pack hardly anything. The location was ideal. Walk right across the street to the beach access without having to load up a gold cart. Beach was clean and huge and the waves were tame enough for the young kids to swim in them (being not directly on the east coast of the island helped). Brand new gold carts were great for zipping around the island. Great communication with owner. All around a perfect rental experience and we will be staying here again if we have the chance!

Our family has been visiting Bald Head regularly for about 15 years. This was a great house to rent. There are no problems to speak of and the house was extremely well equipped. The owners have stocked it with way more supplies than you usually see in a rental. Everything was as represented in the description and photos. The golf carts were top notch! Those were the nicest golf carts we have ever used. The location is superb and views across the street to the ocean are beautiful. Highly recommend. We would happily stay here again!!
