About this house rental
Description: Please read entire ad**
Typical mid century Florida Block home built in 1956 during the Kennedy Space Center's original construction. Lush yard and surroundings. Corner lot providing relative privacy. Comfortable but not fancy. I offer Affordable family accommodations and am working on updating as I can.
**Please note : I and my 2 sweet and quiet dogs Peanut and Brownie live in an attached "In-Law" apartment next door. There is a door but you have a 1/4" Dead bolt lock on your side and it's locked on my side as well.
It is only used between guests for Housekeeping Services. Separate entrances ensure your privacy. I had a 4.8 out of 5 star rating on a comparable site. I communicate via text, ensuring your safety, and can happily recommend restaurants, viewing sites, etc, if requested.

Easy access. Only stayed one night before cruise. Maybe not the cleanest in certain areas but it was great for the price! We enjoyed the artwork and the quiet.

Perfect for what we needed to do the night kayak tour, All we needed was a place to sleep with a bathroom. Also it was a 6 minute drive to the kayak meeting spot. Good a/c, no bugs, and quiet.

We only stayed one night, but you could easily spend more. House was very clean and comfortable. Tom was very helpful answering questions prior to our stay and was accommodating with our changes in the number of guests we brought. He also has a few notes up inside the house with helpful information and instructions about linens and trash bags. I would definitely rent this house again if i had need in the Titusville area.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the house had everything we needed. Close to the water and beaches. We only used one of the beds but it was very comfy. Check in couldn't have been easier and the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay here again!

My family of 4 and I stayed for just a few days before we left on our cruise out of port Canareval. The AC worked great, the beds were comfortably and the neighborhood was quiet. We didn't stay for very long but it was a nice home base for a little while.

Great accomodations for a family of 8 who wanted to go to the bioluminescent Kayak Tour before hitting the big city.

It is modernized where needed, very clean, and quiet. I had concerns about the owner's dogs that are in the advert but I honestly did not hear a peep from them. This property is so much quieter than any hotel, even higher end ones. I did not wake up to hearing the dogs, or babies crying/kids running in the hall like in a hotel--just peace. It was nice after a long day site-seeing for it to just be quiet. Also, we brought food in advance (food allergies), to prepare or reheat. Had what we needed in the kitchen. No automatic dishwasher though so if you have a large family, bring paper products unless you want to wash by hand. All windows had the nice blinds to block out the sun and reduce the summer heat. I appreciated the art work but then I do like art, a few even captivated me. Beds were super comfy and the ceiling fans through out was the breeze we needed. We also got to see one of the rockets launch from the property--hear it too. If you have questions, feel free to message before booking. Tom is very prompt and forthright.

It was perfect for our visit. Cozy and comfortable, welcoming and homey- the beds were the best I've ever slept in on a trip away! Information was readily available and the host was accessible and responsive. He discloses that he lives in the adjoining unit, but only one of us got a glimpse of him, I think, on one early morning. Quiet neighborhood, close to shops and a quick trip to a lot of things to do, and decorated in a warm way that makes it a home away from home.
Lest I sound like a shameless plug, I can say that the water pressure for showers was a bit low, but we were pretty sunburned quickly and the gentle spray was very welcome over a regular shower. The house is not pristine and fancy, but it was perfectly tidy and comfortable for us. I will save the listing for our next trip, for sure.

Overall, perfectly adequate place to stay. As the listing suggests it offers budget-friendly family / pet overnight lodging. The cost is fair and reasonable: adequate kitchen tools, fine beds and linens, quite evenings, good running A/C, hot water for showers, and friendly responsive host. I have no complaints given the price comparisons and would be happy to support the host with future stays.

Perfect stay before a cruise. No frills, twin beds are kinds hard and 2 of us stayed on the couches but plenty of room for all 8 of us. Communication was great. Check out is at 10 not 11:00. Host was very forgiving about me not realizing this.

The house was lovely and perfect to fit our needs. Our family was coming over from Tampa to see the Kennedy Space Center. The location was less than 20 minutes from our destination and was filled with lovely art that our whole family enjoyed. The house contained all we needed to enjoy our stay and was well priced for the location. Another plus is that it is also located close to Cocoa Beach and had plenty of fun activities nearby for our young children to enjoy. The neighborhood got a bit noisy at times, but never at night or when we were trying to sleep or rest, and the location was a bit hidden from the main road but overall, I would highly recommend this location as a great place to bring a family to come see the east coast of Florida.

In town for a few days of fishing with my brother in law. The house was in a great location with easy access to everything we needed. We really enjoyed downtown and the great restaurants. The best aside from fishing was sitting on the front porch each night watching the neighborhood kids playing up and down the street laughing and having a great time. It may be a mid century neighborhood but it is family friendly and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

Came down for daughters wedding and ended up only being a couple of blocks from her! It was clean and very economical. We love the paintings spread throughout the house. Nice neighborhood pleasant to sit on front porch. We hope to stay here again when all the family wants to get together rather than piling in at her house! Thank you Tom for taking a chance on us and allowing us to rent your place!
