Mayakita was a very clean and nice place. And the host was very responsive to all requests. We could not figure out the toaster oven so we messaged them and they were there within 5 mins showing us how to work it. Also we had no hot water when we first got there and they showed up super fast and got it repaired. The breakfast place next door was fabulous. The hot tub on the roof was a great addition and so nice to have a morning or evening soak. We had a great family trip!

Wow! I just can't say enough about this property! We stayed there with our three boys and my friend and her kids during Thanksgiving week, & we loved every minute. Kids ranged from ages 7 to 17. The Staff: Jimmy and Beth are simply the BEST! I can't speak highly enough of them. Beth greeted us when we arrived and took us on a tour of our apartment. She told us to reach out if we needed anything, and she meant it! She arranged for a taxi to pick us up for our tour, and came by to check on us after we had been there for a day or so. Jimmy arranged for golf carts to be delivered, and he got us a great price - cheaper than we had been quoted anywhere else. He was always around working on keeping the grounds beautiful and went out of his way to help with anything. The grounds: It's clean and beautiful, and we felt like we were staying at a resort but without the crowds. Upon arrival, we had a 5 gallon bottle of water, beach chairs, an umbrella and toys. It's located at the South end of the island, but the bus stops right out front every 30ish minutes. It's 20 pesos a person, and it's only about a 15 minute ride to Playa Norte, about 5 minutes to Punta Sur, 10 minutes to Garrfon de Castilla. If you want to take a taxi, it's only about 150 pesos to get most places. The Mayakita restaurant next door has delicous food! A swimming beach is within walking distance and a sunrise watching beach is right across the street. Beautiful Ocean view! We'll definitely be back here!

This is my 4th time to the island and the 1st staying at a different home. Our 5 kids fit well in the space, and it was nice to have the rooftop as an option when we spent time at the house. Jimmy was a great help managing the property. And even though he didn't speak much english, we were able to communicate well through the google app. I am not sure if/when I will come back to visit, but I would consider this as an option in the future.

Was so nervous being the one responsible for booking but this place made me look so good. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Right across the street from the beach, shared swimming pool and restaurants on both sides. Roof top was perfect for drinks and laughs. Will be taking my family back to this exact spot soon.

Mayakita was a wonderful place to stay on Isla Mujeres. About a 15 minute golf cart ride to the north side of the island, but the location cannot be beat. Quiet and peaceful, yet there are some more local restaurants close by. We stayed in Villa 3 which had 3 bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and two with 2 doubles each with their own bathroom and air conditioning. The water pressure in all 3 showers wasn't fantastic, but Bethsua cleaned them for us to reduce hard water buildup and allow them to be the best they can be. In all honesty, this is typical of most places I have stayed in Mexico, and wasn't a real problem. The views and setup of the townhouse were amazing. The rooftop has its own jacuzzi, table, and chairs to relax in. A patio space to hangout on the main level. The whole back space by the pool is fenced in and feels private. The entrance is up a side street and offers seclusion. We got in late, but there is an Italian restaurant right next door that allowed us to get a quick bite to eat without traveling far. There is also a spot attached to the property that has breakfast items and food/drinks that is open to 2:00 pm and offered great convenience. I cannot rave enough about Bethsua and Jimmy, the on site property managers. They have a little casita off to the side of the property and helped us out with literally everything. They are both so kind and so respectful. We had an issue with our water heater providing no hot water initially and they replaced the entire heater next day so we could have hot showers. They got us anything we needed for the house and were so respectful of not entering the house without permission. They made our stay incredible. I highly recommend staying here. My only piece of advice is to confirm the bedroom setup in the Villa you stay in. Ours worked out fine as a group of friends, but couples may feel differently and I do not know if the bed situations are different in other Villas. We absolutely will be staying here again.

I had really high expectations, this was to be the last stop on our vacation and was looking forward to it the whole time. The property exceeded all expectations. The home was absolutely beautiful, so clean, comfortable beds, plenty of space for 2 families, every supply needed, very responsive host. The only down side was that we couldn't stay longer. The area is so interesting with so many things to see and do we would have loved to have stayed longer. I highly recommend!

This house was first CLASS, everything just as advertised. My wife and I went with 2 other couples and the house was perfect. I cant enough good things about Cecilia and her staff could not have been more helpful during our stay. Cecilia even opened her not just ready restaurant for our group to celebrate my birthday. Can’t wait to go back when her restaurant finally opens for good. Want a great location and great host YOU must stay at this property. Thank you Cecilia and staff….
