We all had such a good time at this fabulous Lake house!! The lay out is like having 2 huge Living rooms, one on the main floor and one on the lower floor, both with TV’s and doors that open to a patio that overlooks the lake! The super clean big pool was a highlight for everyone, as was the new hot tub!We also rented a pontoon boat for a couple days, as well as made use of the kayaks and paddle boards.
Also made use of the firepit and made s’mores one night. I could on and on about all the wonderful amenities this house has to offer! In short, if you’re planning a trip to Lake Keowee, then this is the house for you! You’re gonna love it!

It was a nice stay. We let the owner know about broken skylight shades when we checked in and were told that someone would come to fix them and no one showed up. The trash can in the laundry room was not emptied and contained a dirty diaper. We never saw anyone come to service the pool, which we thought was supposed to be done weekly

Everything was great. Enjoyed all the amenities. I was able to bring our boat and use the slip. We had access to all of Lake Kowoee. Great house for the price.

Had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. Having the pool was a big plus for us as about half of each day was spent there. Made some side trips to waterfalls and poking around Walhalla. Dock area was very nice and we enjoyed the kayaks. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and basically everything you needed to prepare meals. We only had one minor problem with a bathtub drain and Alan, the host, made arrangements very quickly to get that fixed. Having the linens and towels provided was a big help as well. All in all, we had a wonderful week.

We love this house!! Just perfect!

Nice house with a pool, lake and hot tub to boot. Beautiful view in the back looking down over the lake. Quiet neighborhood with a no wake zone on the water. We brought our boat and were able to tie off on the side of the dock. Only issue was hot tub water was dirty when we arrived but the owner was fast to respond and had it cleaned for us- no issues with it the rest of the week. We did several local hikes to waterfalls and even checked out lake Jocassee (within 30 min). Definitely would recommend a lake house retreat here.

We had a great time at Sunsets and Siestas. It was well-stocked and has everything you want for a great trip - a lake, dock, kayaks, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, many bedrooms, a pool and Wi-Fi! I recommend!

Our family of 8 adults and 9 children had a wonderful week in this big, lovely home on Lake Keowee. Great views of the lake from the balconies on the house, lots of fun in the pool and at the dock on the lake. We put our boat in the water at South Cove in Seneca and brought it over to the house taking lots of trips out on the water throughout the week. Loved how close we were to a nice Ingles grocery store. We made dinner at the house most nights and found everything we needed for cooking and feeding a big crew in the kitchen. This was our first time staying at Sunsets and Siestas but I hope it's not the last!!

Loved the house, plenty of room for a family of 15. The pool, basketball goal, hot tub and the Lake were used every day. The owner was quick to respond to a few questions we had the first day. The price was very reasonable. Would definitely book again!.

If we were ever going to this location, we would rent this property in a heartbeat. More than adequately housed our 15 people, well equipped kitchen, great amenities. Linens for extra beds were scarce or maybe we just couldn't find them. A deep clean might be in order, but the over all cleanliness was adequate. Easy check in and out. Explicit instructions as to where technologies could be found with passwords, etc.

The home is a beautiful lakefront property with lots of amenities. My family (12 adults and 3 children) were very comfortable in the home. If the temperatures had been warmer, we would have made use of all of the standup boards the owner has on the floating dock. Speaking of, it was nice to sit on the dock in the comfortable chairs the owner has and enjoy the peaceful waterfront setting.
We look forward to booking with the owner again next year when the temperatures are warmer;)
Thanking the owner, Alan, for his quick replies to my questions. Also, we appreciated the well appointed kitchen that has plenty of pots, pans, glassware, plates and silverware for feeding a large group of people.

We loved this home! If we ever have a big group again we’d definitely come back!

Pros:The house was nice for a big group. Lots of room. We had 3 families and it was well laid out.
Cons: Whoever stays downstairs will experience floors creaking. The stairs creak when walking downstairs inside of house and floors do too. We were not able to use Pool and hot tub due to electrical issues. Other then that it was a nice weekend.

The perfect place for friends to make memories together.
We are a group of retired teachers who have been friends for 30-40 years. This is our second time staying at this beautiful house and it was perfect for us. We played in the lake, floated in the pool, grilled, cooked s'mores, played games and totally enjoyed making memories together.

Clemson Graduation getaway
It’s easy see why this property is named Sunsets and Siestas! Beautiful property right on the lake with amazing sunsets! The house was clean, well kept and was stocked with everything we needed. It was about 25 minutes from Clemson but well worth the drive! We fished off the dock, used the kayaks and paddle boards, played basketball, relaxed in the hot tub and cooled off in the pool. What more can you ask for! It was so quiet and peaceful there! Alan was a great host. He replied promptly to ever message I sent him which was quite a few! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others!

Family Gathering
The property was well maintained and had plenty of room for our large family during our Thanksgiving gathering. We enjoyed the pier and the kayaks. Fishing was great off the end of the dock for our 8 and 11 year olds. The hot tub was a nice retreat and we watched several movies downstairs. We would return and enjoy the home again.

Fantastic Clemson Game Getaway
Excellent property. Beautiful home, many amenities. Even with the inclement weather we used the kayaks, hot tub, grill, indoor/outdoor fireplace and the beautiful patios. Hope to stay again next year year for our annual Clemson Game Getaway.

Great weekend at Sunsets and Siestas!
We had a group of our friends stay here with us for our wedding weekend. We had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and peaceful and has plenty of room for people to spread out. There are also large spaces for big groups to congregate as well. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and the kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake. Easy check in and the property owner was very responsive to any questions I had. We would love to visit again!

Great Location for Large Family or Group
We had a great stay. Our family had 8 adults, 1 teenager, 2 children, and 1 two year old. This location was perfect. We had a great time on the lake and at the house. There are plenty of spaces in and around the house to "get away" if you need a break from the group. The house is located on a great spot on the lake that does not include a lot of high speed boat traffic. The marina is close and gave us a great deal on a boat rental. We will be back!

Vacation Stay
I was pleased with the house. It offered a lot of comfort. The steps that lead to the lake are difficult for seniors. My mom was with me. I also think the neighbor complained about loudness which I feel was uncalled for. We only sit outside when we arrived and was only on the lake one afternoon. He stood and watched us and I feel he did not want us there. He was only trying to see what we were going to do. Very unfriendly. The boat ramp for boat is quite far.

Great reunion weekend!
Had such a great time in this house. We had 8 adults there for over five days and had plenty of space and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The paddleboards and kayaks were used, and we swam off the dock, in the pool, and in the hot tub every day. We also had plenty of room to watch the Clemson game from the sofa on Saturday.
The extra fridge and ice maker were amazingly convenient to have. As was the grill and the double oven! I feel like we made use of every amenity this home had to offer and enjoyed our time immensely. My only gripe was the pillows, but I’m a stomach sleeper who’s used to down pillows, so you can’t really blame me, right? Also the AC works very well. It was wonderful.
