We came to town with our family, for a 100 year family reunion. I grew up in the area and it was nice to be back home after moving away 20 years ago. The property was a nice oasis, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed. A hot tub would have been perfect. The stove top has a pilot issue, but easy to fix. I hope to return soon and dust again!

There were enough things I didn’t like about our stay that I can’t recommend it. The neighborhood didn’t look very good for starters, then upon entering the air freshener was too strong. Our bed was very noisy- you couldn’t move without it creaking. The lighting was dim throughout the house and when we went to cook our steak dinner, the burners wouldn’t light and there was no propane in the grill. After spending that much money on our fancy dinner, I thought we were stuck. Then we turned on the oven to broil and we’re able to light the burner with a skewer from the flame there. No dish soap other than dishwasher pods.

This home had everything (and more) that my cousin and I needed for a couple nights in Cottonwood. Although we mostly ate out, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The bedrooms are spacious. Water pressure for showers was excellent. The backyard is a quaint respite for unwinding with a glass of wine.

Great location to explore Jerome,cottonwood and Sedona. House was well equipped great kitchen ,bedrooms comfortable and very quiet. Weather was on the cool side but the garden looked like it would be perfect to sit and enjoy. Don’t hesitate to book you will not regret.

Comfortable size for 4 but has capacity to sleep 8. Dining table was a high top. Well appointed kitchen. Nice comfortable covered patio with retractable awnings. Nice grill connected to natural gas. Comfortable beds. A variety of nice hiking trails at the base of Mingus Mountain and also leading out of Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Trails in the Sedona area tend to load up their parking lots early. Late morning, parking slots start to open up but the sun is more intense. Old Town Cottonwood has seen a strong revitalization and is quite active for dining, wine tasting, and window shopping.

The property worked perfect for us from lots of bedroom space, perfect backyard for entertaining young kids to a coffee shop in walking distance with great lattes and breakfast! Property had everything we needed and was setup well. Quiet neighborhood and close to many attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Our 1st night the kitchen sink backed up, responded within an hour. Good. Next morning, both toilets backed up and overflowed (previous guests apparently clogged with "flushable" wipes which handyman pulled out of pipe from out back). We inquired re: refund vs. will this be fixed - no plumber available vs. plumber at end of day, much back and forth, suddenly we were cancelled and refunded and yet handyman said it would be fixed and he would clean up by 1:00 pm. We sat and waited, after going out to breakfast and bathrooms and we had to throw all our stuff into the cars and find another place - manager was fine at first, got very rude when confronted by dueling options and messages between me and my husband (should we stay or should we go?!) By 1:00 pm, we were told to leave, he was shutting the house down. I realize plumbing was a huge problem, but he was really angry when we were still there, debating whether to stay as the handyman said he'd have it fixed by 1 and would clean it all up - fortunately, we found another place same day in Phoenix area, or we would have had to cancel our vacation. Will NEVER deal with this guy again!!

The property was very comfortable. We had seven adults and two pups. We really enjoyed the covered patio outback. We did a lot of gathering in on the house. The house is in a good location for sightseeing. The property was very clean. The owner was very receptive to any questions, and answered the questions promptly.

The home has been updated from the pictures I saw listed. Clean, comfortable, easy to find and check in, and the location was great (quiet neighborhood and the drive to Sedona and Jerome was easy). It had everything we needed, the giant TV in the living room was a huge plus (I really want one now!).

Pleasantly surprised by the property and amenities.

This property was great for us. We chose it mainly to be close to nearby family. The property seems to have been upgraded since the pictures were taken. The appointments in the bedroom were much prettier than depicted. While the house is small for a four bedroom, the layout made it feel larger and the bedrooms felt large even with the queen beds. We loved having a fully fenced back yard for the dogs and the covered patio, sun screen and awning, made the backyard useable, despite the 109 degree heat while we were there. The AC definitely kept up with the temps as well. We were surprised to find a brand new gas grill in the backyard which added to our enjoyment of the property. The lights and overhead fan switches were a little quirky and difficult to figure out, but we were able to cope. The kitchen equipment was above average, they even supplied a blender and mixer and some baking pans. Don't expect chef quality knives though and additional cutting board would have been nice. The refrigerator is large and has an indoor water and ice dispenser. We would definitely stay at this property again. We were able to bike to old town and a nearby large state park with lots of trails.

Exceeded expectations

Exceeded expectations

It is rare that a property exceeds your expectations, but this one did. It was even better than the pictures. The beds were huge, the backyard was glorious, the kitchen was fully supplied and everything was in pristine order. Rodrigo was prompt and helpful with answers to my questions, and the location of this property was perfect for us. My adult family (all 7 of us) and two dogs would highly recommend this property.
