The house was great and had everything you’d need for a stay away from home. We used the fire pit both nights. The outdoor space was very relaxing. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice and clean. The house was cute and stocked with all the essentials. We had a fun time hiking Hocking Hills which was about a 15 minute drive along with most of the restaurants you’d want to hit. Overall great space both inside and out.

The Earth House exceeded our expectations! It's a beautiful property. Perfectly secluded and relaxing. Being all one level (other than sunken game room) was just what I needed with mobility issues while recovering from an accident. The interior and outdoor space is very modern and up-to-date.

When we pulled in the driveway of the Earth house, our host was sweeping the huge entertainment area outside. A giant pergola housed a hot tub. A horseshoe-shaped seating with fire pit. A table seating eight people and gas grill with a concrete countertop to act as a seating area with stools. It was unbelievable.
As we entered the interior of the house, which had sliding glass doors from the bedrooms, and a huge atrium playroom.
There was a huge living room, dining room, an ultra modern kitchen. The playroom was sunken at ground level. It had a beautiful table made out of a slab of wood and blue epoxy. It looked like a river. Comfy cushions and shelving unit full of toys and games.
The living room had a humongous black sofa that fit most of the room and a big screen TV. All the furniture and tables were handmade creations.
The bedrooms on the front you were able to exit the sliding glass doors onto the patio area. There were two master baths and four large bedrooms, with fantastically built beds and built -in storage areas. One bedroom had bunk beds for the kids.
We had such a wonderful time cooking our meals on the grill and sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The hot tub was used everyday.... Most enjoyable!
We played games in the playroom every night. And enjoyed the fireflies twinkling in the night sky and tree cover. It was really magical.
We couldn't wait to get home to Tell our friends. We spent three wonderful nights Highly recommend

I can't say enough about the Earth Home--what a great place to call "home" for a few days! It is surprisingly bright and cheerful for an underground home, and so well-appointed. The beds were all very comfortable, and the living space was cozy as well. The hot tub felt amazing after hiking each day. We felt very lucky to find such a great (and dog-friendly) stay in such close proximity to restaurants and Hocking Hills trails. We highly recommend this rental, and would 100% stay here again!

What a great place to stay for a couple of days with our grown up kids, their spouses, grandkid, and even the pups! They had everything we needed for the Christmas including a decorated tree. Very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. There were towels for the hot tub and plenty of wood for the fire pit. Weather was rainy but we didn’t mind because it was cozy indoors with plenty of space for everyone to hang out and lots of light that came in the huge windows. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This property is cozy, modern, and unique. The check in and check out processes could not have been easier. Upon arrival we could tell the property was well cleaned and maintained. The outdoor firepit/jacuzzi/grill area is fantastic as are the views around the property. We would 100% stay again.

This place was just what we needed. Plenty of space for 4 women to stay and enjoy some catching up. The hot tub and fire ring outside was perfect for ending the evening with the sunset over the hill. We loved the locations too - about 15 minutes from Logan, and all the best Hocking Hills hiking trails. Will definitely be sharing this property with friends!

The decor was very nice and the gazebo with hot tub and fire pit was cool. Supplies needed in the house were good. My daughter who works midnights really liked the room without windows. She was trying to keep her midnight sleep schedule somewhat. The only negative is that spiders wanted to get in. Since the doorways are under ground and the houses is in a wooded area, it wasn’t surprising. And it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

House was great. Our dogs loved running in the yard. Hocking Hills had great hikes, a nice winery, and Lake Logan - we rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon - very fun. Beds were very comfortable. Very responsive owners - ran out of firewood and they delivered more within the hour. :)

The location and the home were both very nice. The grounds and the grill could use some updating. The owner was quick to reply to my request for grill maintenance.

Cute place with lots of room for a multi generational family getaway. This place could use a refresh, weeding, lawn mowed and the cabinets and carpets need a good cleaning. The linens were clean but worn. There was little clean out between tenants… lots of leftover food and things, which we found weird. For the price and cleaning fee we expected more. I think with some TLC this would be a great place to stay!

Staying in an underground house is such an experience and a plus is how nicely updated the house is. It was very private and enjoyed ever second of it. Had one issue came up and contacted owner and they came out to fix it right away. Such great service! We will definitely be back!

This was a very nice cabin. We had several family members meeting here from out of town so it was perfect for our needs. Great central location to everywhere we were going to in the area. House was clean, beds were comfy, and had everything we needed.

This property is amazing! The house is exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities. The property is beautiful inside and out. We brought our dog and it was so nice for him to roam without a ton of vehicles or people around. The owner stopped by and was so nice! He told us about the property, showed us a new property he’s working on, and even let our son check out his gator. If you’re looking for a quiet, totally renovated and beautiful property, I definitely recommend the Earth Home! We will be back for sure!

My family enjoyed our stay at the Earth House. The location was close to all of the hikes we went on, which made it easy to hike at any time of day. The house was very clean and well lit. The hot tub was very big and nice to hang out in at the end of each day. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed this conveniently located home in Hocking Hills. Decor and amenities were tasteful. We enjoyed the hot tub and reading in the sunroom. Our senior dog also enjoyed the large (nearly enclosed) lot. Great location for a quick ride to the state parks and 33. We’d stay here again :)

Very nice property. I read reviews before making reservations the only negative i saw was spiders which we did not have issues with so if it was an issue the owners had resolved it before our stay. We would like to go back in the future.

Wonderful, relaxing stay
We had a quiet, relaxing stay at this property. It was a short drive to all the beautiful hikes in hocking hills. The hot tub was nice for relaxing after hiking. We traveled with two families (2 toddlers) and grandma. We were appreciative of how well stocked the home was-dish soap, condiments, toilet paper, etc. We are seasoned travelers and usually stay in rental properties. All members on the trip commented on how nice this property was in comparison to other recent rentals.
Our toddlers found the bugs to be a joy. We made a game of counting the slugs. It's an underground house in the country-not sure what people expect. Of course there will be insects!
Would highly recommend to anyone with families, will suit a variety of ages-in our case from 2 to 66!

Very relaxing with great hottub and access to movies !! Charming and clean. It is unexpectedly isolated - which made us nervous after watching a really scary movie!!!
