This private and magnificent 6000 square foot, 6 bedroom, 5 bath, 3 car garage log and timber home features a dramatic living room with cathedral ceiling and wood burning stone fireplace, an excellent kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops, and a spacious first floor master bedroom also with a stone fireplace. Step out onto the expansive deck that overlooks panoramic mountain views and features stairs to the lower level patio. A large game room with pool, ping pong, game/poker table and wet bar. A large play area for the kids --- which includes an indoor slide, games, large television, and of course bunk beds! The floor plan offers grand space, views and an appreciation for the elements of nature!
As you step through the front door of this magnificent log and timber home you are greeted by a dramatic living room that features a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams and a wood burning stone fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the home with light, and overlook the expansive deck and peaceful mountain views, including views of Attitash!
The kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops has stainless steel appliances, a double wall oven, and a center island with a breakfast bar. The open layout of the main floor lends itself wonderfully to entertaining.
Step out from the open kitchen and dining area onto the expansive deck that overlooks the mountains. Stairs lead from the deck to the lower level patio, which is complete with a stone fire pit.
A spacious first floor master bedroom has a stone gas fireplace, sliding door to the deck, and a generous sized en-suite with two vanities and walk in closet.
There is plenty of room, with two bedrooms upstairs and a full bath with double vanity. Separate quarters include stone feature wall, and large bedroom with a king bed and twin over twin bunk bed. Outside is a bunk bed room with two twin over twin bunk beds. And YES! We have an indoor slide for the kids to play!
The walk out lower level boasts a home theater, expansive family room for entertaining and fun. Lots to do in the basement as we have a pool table that converts into a ping pong table, large television, pub style seating with wet bar as well as a poker/game table and Simpsons pinball machine.
An over-sized attached garage and a welcoming covered front porch round out this spectacular home.

With the weather not being great during our stay, we spent more time at the house…which was spectacular! The teens/tweens loved lounging in their separate sleeping quarters and watching movies on the big screen. The adults enjoyed the stunning views while relaxing in the main living space.
Close proximity to restaurants (El Reparo and White Mountain Cider Co - delish!), stores and family activities, or just stay at the house and unwind!
Owner is very friendly and communicative. We’ll hopefully be back next year!

This home had everything we needed and more. The home is beautiful, clean and updated. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Bedrooms were comfortable with a “kids suite” over the garage equipped with a tv, legos, a slide and lots of beds. The basement had a screening room, pool/ping pong table and more. The mountain views were beautiful from the large, well- kept porch. We have been staying in the white mountains for 15+ years and this was the best house we have stayed at. Host was very responsive as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Black Bear Lodge is a beautifully curated property nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with an enormous deck and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The home is enormous and accommodates large families or groups of friends and is extremely well appointed. The layout is spectacular, with large bedrooms, plenty of beds, comfortable and high quality mattresses, pillows and bedding. The bedrooms are well spread out and isolated enough to reduce noise and the suite above the garage is almost like its own apartment. The grounds are well landscaped and the stonescaped fire pit is thoughtfully designed, complete with tasteful lighting carefully built into the landscaping. The Great Room and the game room in the basement are truly awesome. The garage is very large and roomy and accommodates 3 vehicles with plenty of room to open car doors. Our large group wanted for nothing and was able to find everything it needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. Brian, the host, was spectacular. He's an excellent communicator and responded to any inquiries within minutes. I recommend this property as highly as possible. It's 5 minutes from Storyland and countless miles of wilderness, hiking, biking, etc. Conveniently located but tucked up off the road and very private. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back!

We've now rented this property multiple times, and it's amazing every time. Communication with property manager is so easy and prompt. House is huge, beautiful, well-equipped, clean....I could go on on and on. Beds are extremely comfortable, game room and theater are awesome. Rent this place. You will not regret it. I rented the house to celebrate a milestone birthday for me and my family. It met every expectation and then some. The bedrooms are plentiful, the kids room with the clubhouse and slide was a super hit with the little ones, Simpsons Pinball a super hit with the big ones and everyone enjoyed hanging out in the game room, theatre and great room.
The kitchen is well appointed and the dining table fit us all. Views of Attitash are tremendous and the accessibility to Attitash, Wildcat and Bretton Woods is hard to beat.
Brian, the homeowner, was super responsive and great to communicate with.
I struggle to think how we could have enjoyed our stay more. We were already planning our next visit before we left!

What a house...spacious, clean and super comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and absolutely stunning views!! It truly was the ideal home for multiple families to come together, without ever feeling on top of one another. The downstairs recreation area of the home was just next level amazing...from the theater room to multiple gaming tables to board games for all ages to enjoy. The location offered an easy drive into North Conway center, but if you prefer to avoid the big crowds, the owner (who was always responsive and helpful) offered several great suggestions for restaurants/pizza/groceries close by. Everything about this home and the rental experience was awesome!

I spent five nights at "The Lodge" during the fall and enjoyed it immensely. The property is unique -- a large, modern log-cabin with all the amenities one could think of. It sits on a hillside with a "private" view of the mountains.
The location is great for exploring the White Mountains Forest and neighboring towns. But when you're tired from enjoying nature and want to relax back "home", the game room, movie theater, even a pinball machine provide plenty of activities.
It's a great place to bring a large family, group of friends, or even enjoy solo. I don't think I will ever forget the view out the A-frame windows to the mountains. Can't wait to return...
The host Brian is also very accommodating and friendly and went the extra mile when I had a family situation affect our plans.

This home is nothing short of extraordinary! Breathtaking views from the main living area, with a truly exceptional great room. Our kids were entertained throughout our stay - the bunk rooms with built-in slide, the game room in the basement and of course the theater room were incredible features! We absolutely can not wait to book again!

We do an annual trip with another family to North Conway. This is our 10th year with a new rental every year. This was one of the best houses we’ve stayed at. They had a slide room with bunk beds for the kids - and the best part is, it was on the other side of the house so we didn’t even hear them! They had a wonderful game room and movie theater. The chairs there rival any luxury AMC. The kitchen was full with everything we needed. Lovely communication with the owner. We would 100% stay there again!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. Very roomy for a large group of 14 friends in town to hike the Presidential Traverse. Amazing open spaces for watching college football and playing ping pong. Property owner was easy to speak with and quick to respond to questions. Town nearby is great with several breweries and restaurants.

We had an amazing time! The house was absolutely amazing! Plenty of room for all of us and perfect location! Very close to mount washington, cranmore, and North Conway! The owners were so accommodating… they gave us excellent recommendations of things to do and restaurants to eat at. They provided plenty of towels and linens and the house was immaculate! The game room and theater room were so much fun for the kids and the property was beautiful. It was the perfect getaway for our family and friends. The kids absolutely loved the bunk room with the slide!

The home was magnificent. We had 6 adults and three grandchildren: ages 3, and two 5 year olds. There was plenty of space and the boys spent hours in the basement playing all the games- especially the pin ball machine.

This was the most amazing home for our family vacation. The house itself is gorgeous with the most incredible views, it was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed. Brian was thorough and very responsive in all communication making it even more comfortable to stay. We traveled with 6 adults and 6 small children and even though we had some not great weather one day, there was so much to do right at the house, we still had the best time. We will definitely be back again!

This was an amazing house! It easily accommodated the twelve of us.(six kids 3-11 ) and 6 adults. Plenty of together spaces and enough private spaces when needed. The weather prevented us from fully appreciating the back and front yards of this beautiful mountain home. However there was so much to do in the house one never noticed the outside. The large windows brought the beauty inside. Brian, the owner of this luxury home) was wonderful. He was helpful and easily accessible. He had fantastic recommendations and quickly solved minor problems. Our entire family was sorry to leave after one week of being together. Each of us would love to return. Hiking, swimming, sight seeing, eating, adventures,... truly something for everyone! It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

The photos do not do this home justice. Everything- from the accomodations, cleanliness, layout- was top-notch. It was extremely well-equipped, the great room was simply breathtaking, the deck and views are out of this world, and communication with the host was just perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We will be back next year. Do yourself a favor and book this property. Close to N Conway with a small supermarket 5 minutes away. It's the perfect house in the perfect spot. Thanks Brian, talk to you soon about next spring!!!

WOW WOW WOW! Absolutley breathtaking! The house is HUGE! There were 11 adults staying here during peak fall foilage season. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to feed a big crew. The layout is great for big family gatherings and plenty of spaces to spread out. There are trails close by for a short hike and so close to all the fun in North Conway! Thank you for such an amazing stay! We wished we could have stayed longer!! :)

We had an amazing stay at the end of September! 4 families with kids and there was still plenty of space for all to enjoy! Location is wonderful but our favorite time was spending time in the house as there was so much to do and explore right there! Already booked multiple trips back!! Can’t wait!

Located very close to Conway and many White Mountain attractions. We spent a long weekend with some friends and their young children. The play room (w/ slide) was a big hit with the kids as well as theater room in the basement. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans etc. Main living room shows great views of adjacent mountains, we went during peak leaf season. The property easily accommodated our 3 small families. All very clean and nicely appointed. We plan to stay again sometime!

This is a stunning lodge-style house with a terrific view of the Presidential Range. The interior furnishings are complete and comfortable. All the bases (e.g. linens, kitchen equipment, kitchen condiments, childreens' toys, local area information) were well-covered. This house is well equipped for a large family gathering and our group of ten had lots of space and privacy. The electronics in the house are top grade -- particularly for a rental. The host was very responsive to our questions.

The house is amazing for family & friends. It was big enough to house all of us and kept the kids entertained. All the furniture and beds were comfortable so you could kick back and relax. The view of the mountains were incredible. The house is close enough to town yet far enough away to feel like you are away from it all :)

Exceeds Expectations
Everything here is as nice or better than the pictures show. We had three families with a total of 13 people join and had ample space for kids naps, separate sleeping areas, and the kids had a blast with all the games, movie theatre, and surrounding area to keep us entertained. Highly recommend.

A beautiful family home
We stayed at this property for Easter and a few days after. Having a separate space above the garage for my sister with her little one so he could nap quietly was such an added bonus. The slide was super fun for the kids and the nice big lounging family room with the beautiful views was amazing for all adults. Even the yard was fun to run around and plan for the kids. I would highly recommend.
