Oceanfront 6 Bedrooms and 4.5 Bathrooms, west side of a duplex home. Private gazebo on the widest part of the beach and walking distance to pier, restaurants, and shops. Vaulted ceilings and ocean views in most rooms of the house. Roku/internet TV's (Netflix, Hulu, YouTubeTV, etc) and 1 gig internet in every bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, utensils. Nonsmoking, no pets. Downstairs: 1 Queen, 2 doubles. The property was perfect for our needs. Everybody had plenty of space and we loved being together in it. They all wanted to come back to the same place next year as well. The location is perfect - also right on the beach and not too far from other activity. Would definitely give it a five star.

Was a great family friendly community. House was beachfront with a cabana that worked out great when little ones and adults wanted out of the sun. Nice to have bedrooms with private bathrooms. Also had plenty of table space and separate refrigerator for drinks. We were very pleased with accommodations and owners were very nice.

Was a fantastic spot for our group of 12 with great bedrooms/beds, nice open space for hanging out, gazebo and right on the beach. Excellent suggestions and responsiveness and easy entry with early entry. Was a great experience!

We had an amazing time at this property during our stay at Ocean Isle. It is in a perfect location and an easy stroll to the pier and shops. The Ocean front views are awesome both East and West and tons of room on the beach for whatever we wanted to do. The owner, Dan, was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had and even texted us to let us know when the cleaners were done so we could check-in early. This beach retreat is exactly what you see in the pictures and I would highly recommend!

Our whole family of children and grandchildren stayed last week in this lovely house. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the house was so clean! The location was fabulous! Right on the beach with a super short walk out to ocean front. The gazebo on the walkway deck was one of our favorite things about the house. Communication with owner was always extremely fast. Hope it works out for us to stay there again next year.

We had never been to oib. It is a beautiful family friendly location. This house is all about location location location. The walkway and little gazebo were perfect. We enjoyed sitting listening to ocean and walking beach. Would stay there again

This is a great place! The view is awesome, and the house is so clean! The ice maker went out when we were there, but the owner was quick to respond. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.!

The duplex is very well situated ocean front. Quite large considering it is a duplex. The views are great and is the highlight of this home. A couple of improvements: This accommodation requires that you bring linens and towels. We forgot to bring a bath mat, so it’s good to remember that so you don’t slip on tile floors. My bedroom had very spartan furnishings and no suitcase stand so you have to put it on the floor. The windows looking out were dirty, so we cleaned them. Housekeeping should do that before arrival. Other than these quibbles, we enjoyed the home and would return again.

It was perfect for families!!!! We had everything we needed (bring 2 baby gates if you have littles though!) — the location was incredible, and the gazebo and beach access FANTASTIC! We loved walking to the coffee shop, then heading to the playground, followed.by walking to lunch at OIFC or Sharkys… then walking back to house for beach time! Thanks a bunch!!! We hope to be back.

Dan was great to work with. House was perfect for having friends join us for a few days before 13 family members came (including 7 kids below 7 years). Weather was perfect so lots of beach time, nearby park and putt-putt within walking distance.

As a family we love it when we can all be together for events, this property with the gazebo so close to the ocean was fabulous. The spacious living room and dinning areas was a definite plus. Thank you we have lots of pictures and memories.

My three college roommates and our husbands stayed Wednesday thru Sunday. We had a lot of room and was perfect. A beautiful view of the ocean. Cooked in three nights and ate out once. Kitchen had everything we needed and a great restaurant nearby. Definitely recommend!

As it turned out, we traded our Beach Front Unit to an Ocean View beach House (Both owned by the same owner). This was due to some maintenance issues at the Beach Front Unit. This was a last minute change which worked out amazing well - it could have been disastrous, but wasn't. We got a newer, bigger unit and a stand alone beach house versus the duplex we originally signed up for. Kudos to the owner for making this work. The Ocean View unit was meticulous, well-maintained, modern and very comfortable. We were a 2-minute walk to the beach which was basically across the street. We would return with this owner.

Dan was excellent host and has made a number of nice cosmetic updates to the home including new floors upstairs (hardwood), new paint and a number of updates to kitchen vs a couple years ago when we stayed.

We had a wonderful time; house was great and exactly what expected from the pictures and advertisements. Only limitation is the oven was temperamental when cooking somewhat. Definitely would use the house again.

Our family had a great week here! There ended up being 9 of us so we had room to spare. We especially loved the gazebo (great spot for relaxing with coffee in the morning or a book in the afternoon), the terrific beach access, and the large living room (two tables to spread out for eating, or playing games, doing puzzles, etc). Dan was super responsive to any concerns we had. If I could rate him a 6 out of 5 I would! We're already looking forward to next year.

We absolutely loved this location. Right on the beach, a deck and a covered gazebo to relax on. The only things we didn't like were an abundance of fruit flies in the kitchen (I'm guessing that's more of an issue from the previous renters and not the home owner) and we all thought the kitchen needed a larger trash can. Other than that the house was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary cookware, utensils and appliances. The bathrooms were all very clean. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great week with family of 12! The only critique is that the floors were dirty (left bottom of socks black) and did not feel like they had been swept. The living room could use some lamps and the couches need a good cleaning. Overall, was a great experience and would rent again!

The location of this house was PERFECT. Walking distance to the coffee shop, playground, restaurant, pier, and of course the beach access out the back door! Dan was a wonderful host and the house was large enough for our family of 13!
