Overall we enjoyed our stay. Boat ramp is a little steep, but access to the lagoon is amazing!

It was a peaceful week! The views were fantastic and the dolphin put on a show almost every day. Wish I would have known I needed to know how to use Roku.

It was my husband's birthday, and he loves to fish. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy nature. Would recommend Red Fish Cabin to friends. Thanks for all your hospitality. Thumbs up from Debary, Florida.

We had an amazing stay! Very clean and close to the water! Nice little get away.

This is a great little cottage on the water with docks. It looks out over the ICW, and you can watch dolphin and manatees right off the dock. We went kayaking every day. There are beaches 20 minutes away.

Everything that we needed to wind down for a few days. Having the use of 3 kayaks was a bonus. Beautiful sunrises and as on the water as one can be without being on a boat. Very friendly people around the area, great restaurant down the street. Very clean.

It is a really good location it is a triplex I didn’t see that anywhere on the listing which wasn’t to horrible.

Nice, felt like we were in old Florida Country. Lots of birds, dolphin, fish, friendly people. Great restaurant in walking distance. We will be back.

I’m not used to staying in such a nice place. The cabin was meticulous and beautifully decorated. I was just looking for a basic place that was close to good fishing grounds. The redfish cabin far exceeded it. We ended up catching some trophy redfish. It was a great stay and Christine was very accommodating

The cabin is charming. It sits right on Mosquito Lagoon. My husband and I spent many happy hours sitting on a chair or bench overlooking the water. The sunrises were beautiful and we could sit in the late afternoon in shade. We saw pelicans, spoonbills, herons and ibis. Mullet fish were almost always jumping. Dolphins came right into the area, too.
We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the neighborhood is. People were very respectful about noise.
We loved Oak Hill. It is a tiny community of lovely people.
Breakfast at the Country Diner in Oak Hill is very good.
We thought the hush puppies (fried dough balls with onion) at Goodrich's Restaurant, walking distance from the Redfish Cabin, were excellent, and we ordered them as takeout.
Although kayaks are on the property, my husband had a tough time without a back rest on the seat. So we rented kayaks. We also took a motorized boat ride. The guides are very knowledgeable and worth the money.
We walked the five mile Cruikshank Trail and shorter Oak Hammock Trail on Merritt Island. The Cruikshank Trail is very sunny with an expansive view of water. The Hammock Trail leads through the woods. We also walked the beach and the Windy Castle Trail in Cape Canaveral National Seashore. The National Seashore offers wonderful educational programs, so stopping at the Apollo Visitor Center to find out about them is worthwhile. The Plant Walk was led by a terrific volunteer. If you like birds, bring your binoculars.
If you want some city life, going into New Smyrna is a lovely destination.

This was our 3rd time staying on this property and once again it didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back again soon!

The short drive and nice accommodations were only the beginning. Fishing was fantastic and the ability to dock the boat steps away from the front door made the place a supper listing in my book. House was spotless and well kept. Thanks to the team for a great booking, easy communications, and easy check in and on our schedule. Thanks again. Gordon and Mary.

Short Drive max fishing/fun
Needed a quick get away with a fair cost. Keys is out with the 500 bucks per day. Went a little back water and found a fantastic place with the boat ramp, dock, condo all withing 50 ft. of the front door. Caught to many fish to list. Boat was safe at a fantastic dock. Beds were confy and the AC was cold. And the price for three days was the cost of one day and was able to make the drive on one tank of fuel. Caught most of the fish within 1 mile of the dock. Will be back again. Thank you Christene.

I booked the fish camp for a quick Christmas getaway. Being a single female, I was a little worried about staying in a fish camp. Those feeling immediately vanished when I got there. Everything was clean and tidy and the people staying there were amazing. Everyone was very nice, like a little family, whether they were just travelers stopping through or lived there full time. I will definitely be back soon to enjoy this little slice of heaven in Mosquito Lagoon.

We had a great experience staying in one of the mobile home units - it has been renovated and is pleasant in the inside. Great wifi and the spectrum TV worked well. We had to put in our t top boat elsewhere as the on-site ramp is covered but it was easy enough. Everyone staying there was friendly and we enjoyed walking down to Goodrich’s for takeout and drinks on the patio. Nothing fancy but clean and very functional. Christine was great!

Best sunrise and fun fishing!
Hosts were SUPER friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay. Mornings on the porch were beautiful with fish and even manatee in sight. Fishing from the dock every day we caught more fish than we could clean and eat. The cabin was perfect for our family. I loved the spacious kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Florida Family Fun
This place is probably amazing for fishing from the looks of it but my mother, daughter, sister, and I came here for a quick Spring Break trip. We live just 3 hours away. We loved the kayaking! The kayaks are just outside your backdoor and easy to launch. The first morning we were here, a manatee was munching on its breakfast literally steps from our backdoor. The sunrise is stunningly beautiful from that same door. I was a little nervous about booking since there were so few reviews but there is a guest book inside that has TONS of visitors' logs with very happy reviews. Neighbors were friendly and had dogs that got along great with my dog - who also loved it here. We came up for A Day Away kayak tour but it was too cold to see the bioluminescence. I've done the tour before in summer months and I can't recommend it enough. Would definitely stay here again in July when coming to do the tour again - it's just 20 minutes away.

We love this place!!!!
My husband wanted to find a place on the water for his birthday weekend. We love fishing in the Mosquito Lagoon area and found the Redfish Cabin. It is so nice!! Super clean and very pretty. It was way bigger than I thought it would be. The kitchen had all the the cooking equipment needed for cooking meals. We also grilled out on the gas grill. A huge plus- it is right down the street from Goodrich's seafood restaurant. We ate there a couple times and even walked from the cabin. Such good food!!! There are so many pluses to this cabin but the best part is the view!!! We loved walking out with our coffee in the morning. Always tons of dolphins. My husband brought his motorized fishing kayak and was able to keep it at the dock right at the cabin (they also have kayaks to borrow). I went fishing on the dock in the attached rv park and caught so many fish (lots of sheepshead and some trout). Everyone here was friendly. The owner Christine answered all my questions and was very helpful. Chevy (spelling?) who works there was very nice and gave great fishing tips. We really had the best weekend and will be coming back again! :)
