As you arrive - You are greeted by the spacious deck in front of the Lodge (and those ever present Gorgeous Mountain Views), which are an integral part of Lookout Lodge’s Attraction. Gather on the comfortable outdoor seating around the “TiKi" Fire-Pit on the spacious deck and share quality time with friends and family while basking in the fire's glow. Or wrap yourself in one of our Plush Bathrobes after a Relaxing Soak in the Sparkling Hot Tub with its Picturesque Views of the multi-layered Mountains.
On summer evenings, the Starry Skies are even more Magical as the Fire-Flies Twinkle all around you.
As you step inside of the Cabin - the Wood Floors, Extensive use of Glass, Posts, Exposed Reclaimed Beams, and Open Spacious Great Room are Welcoming and make you feel both Energized and Relaxed… After a relaxing soak in the sparkling hot tub, wrap yourselves in one of the plush bathrobes and cozy up by the Fire in the floor to ceiling rock fireplace that is a focal point of the Great Room.
The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home, and is well appointed and stocked with everything required to prepare and serve the most Complex Recipes. The Kitchen opens into the Dining Room where the wood table seats 8 Comfortably. Through the Dining Room, is a large Screened Porch that is perfect for relaxing with a good Book, or doing Yoga.
The Open Great Room/Dining/Kitchen’s Focal Point are the ever present Long Range Mountain Views.
For the BBQ'er in the Group, The large modern grill is the ideal spot for cooking tonight's feast, and you can even dine Al Fresco - Mountain Style.
Through the Great Room to your right, is the Game Room that is complete with Shuffleboard Table, Shuffleboard Bowling, an Assortment of Board Games, Large Flatscreen TV, Full Bar (B.Y.O.B), Lounge area, and the Game Table. While you are in the Game Room enjoying your favorite Sports event or a Game of Cards, the Bedrooms on the other side of the Cabin remain Silent and Undisturbed…
If this is a “Working Vacation” for someone in your group, they are sure to appreciate the Loft Office that includes a Desk with Computer Monitor, and possibly the best Mountain Views in the entire Cabin! (Internet Service is provided by Balsam West (formerly named SkyWave), which is without a doubt the most reliable and fastest speed Internet available in the area, and use is unlimited.
On the other side of the Cabin, are the Bedrooms. Each bedroom has received special attention and unique details that are Enjoyable and Memorable.
The first Master Suite is on the main level. The Comfortable King Bed is prepared with Luxurious Linens, High Quality Bedding, and is perfectly placed to Enjoy the Incredibly Beautiful Mountain Views. The Master en-suite bathroom offers a jetted tub and separate shower.
Upstairs is the second Master Suite (Jr. Master), with another Extremely Comfortable King Bed that looks out over the Mountain Views and a Chaise Lounge Chair that is placed beside the large windows.
A few steps down the hall is the 3rd Bedroom with a Luxurious Queen Bed that offers a Sky Light above, and is perfect for laying in bed and Star Gazing…
The 4th “Loft bedroom” is Private and Adorable. There are two twin beds (a trundle bed and day bed above the trundle).

This house was perfect for our family of 7. We had myself and my husband, 11 yo daughter and her friend, 20 yo son, 23 yo daughter and her bf. There was plenty of space and we didn’t feel crowded. We joked there needed to be an intercom system thru the house so we didn’t have to yell, LOL! The shuffleboard was a definite hit as was the hot tub. The beds were by far the most comfortable beds ever and so were the Columbia brand pillows were my favorite! The wifi was strong and my daughter’s bf ran his Xbox while we were there. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

This place was great! You can tell the owners really care about their patrons. Everything was thought thru and they provide pretty much everything you need. There was a couple of small issues, but too small to really mention here. We did send the owners an email that some light bulbs were burned out and some other tiny issues, but nothing that would change my star rating. One of the most incredible views in NC!

Overall the home was clean and was what we expected from the listing. the neighborhood was very quiet and the view was great. Kitchen stocked well for chefs. Only negative was afternoon summer sun was hot and there was no shade on the porch / patio area. Porch / patio had a great view and was very enjoyable in morning and evening when sun was behind the trees or house.

We had a very nice stay at the Lookout Lodge. Everything was just as nice as it was described and looked like the photos. The lodge is very large and accommodated all 8 of us comfortably. We had a few minor issues in the beginning, but the property manager, Steve was very helpful and was quick to respond. We had a great time overall and made many happy memories with the kids!

We had the best trip to Bryson City and this cabin was perfect! Very convenient to downtown Bryson City, breweries and amazing hiking. The cabin itself was incredibly clean and the kitchen well stocked The sunset views were stunning which we enjoyed by the fire. We also enjoyed a snowy plunge in the hot tub and shuffleboard was a huge hit. We loved this cabin and will be back! Thanks for having us!

We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin. There was plenty of room for our family with lots of activities options. The kitchen was perfect for a Thanksgiving meal! We hope to come back again soon!!

We rented the house for Our Son’s graduation trip. It was a perfect home with Mountain View’s. Our boys enjoyed fishing up the road from the house. It’s not within walking distance, but it’s just a short drive away. The house was very spacious and clean. I would personal recommend this home.

Great views. Quite getaway. Close to Bryson City
Property is located in gated community with surprisingly few homes. Beautiful views with great patio and deck to take advantage of the scenery.
House is large with plenty of space to spread out. Our party had 8 adults and the property never felt crowded
Kitchen was well stocked and even included a countertop ice maker.
3 good sized bedrooms. main floor bedroom has on suite bathroom.
1 small loft bedroom with moderate privacy
1 upstairs bathroom. Would have been nice to have one more bathroom with 8 adults, but we knew that before we arrived.
Added bonus was the yard. Bigger than described which was great for our 4-legged guest.
Hattub was large and clean.
Outside pictures of the house make it appear larger than it actually is. The west side of the house has a 3-car garage which is not accessible by guest.
The fireplace was being restored which took away from some of the luxury feeling., but not a huge deal.
No access to the water was the biggest reason for removing a star for accuracy of listing. Most lots are private and the only access we could find to water was the dock for boat access which has signs posted "no swimming, camera monitored"
I had the idea we could walk down to the water and swim, but that was not possible.
Overall, a beautiful property with great views and generous living space.

We had perfect reception on all our devices (att/verizon) all the way up to the lodge & the whole week we stayed. Hot tub was perfect and huge!!!
The fire pit with Adirondack chairs was enjoyed every night we stayed . Cant say enough great things about this lodge. Didnt want to leave!!

This property is amazing and can easily fit 2 families(3 may be tight). The views are unreal and the property is very well stocked. The separate game room is amazing at night as it allows the kids to sleep and the adults to have some fun. The fire pit and jacuzzi make this place hard to beat.
