Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Frühstück war nicht gebucht. Ausstattung einwandfrei, Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Viel mehr lässt sich nach einer Nacht nicht sagen. Ich würde jederzeit dort wieder einkehren, falls ich nach Dôle komme.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Le lieu est idéal, la déco Tip top, la baignoire SPA géniale. les petites attentions à l'arrivée sont très appréciables. Nous avons adoré

petit problème de communication au démarrage, il faudrait changer le numéro de contact reçu en 1er car plus valide. peut-être mettre un rideau un peu épais pour isoler phoniquement la porte d'entrée...

Uitstekend.

Luxe,, compleet uitgerust, centraal gelegen appartement. Prima bed en zeer luxe badkamer.

De (telefonisch) onbereikbare eigenaar. Gelukkig was de buurman-restaurant eigenaar behulpzaam, anders was het misgegaan.

Too expensive for what it is

Bed was very comfortable. View was nice. Nice location

For the price and the images posted I expected something bigger and better. The room is a studio about 12ftx10ft and in that space is a kitchen, sofa bed, double bed and table so you can imagine. The bathroom is in a separate small room attached but the shower had no hot water. If the price were lowered to maybe €40/night it would have been absolutely perfect but I was charged double that. Parking is also off site and expensive.

There were no soaps/shampoos etc. the advertised free parking was not available. The room was not easily accessible by car and the check in was inadequate.

Tout est joli

Pas de cafetière, pas de gel douche , odeur épouvantable de moisissures et de renfermé. Aucune insonorisation, tard le soir on entend les voisins pousser les chaises , prendre leur douche , claquer les portes . Je déconseille pour un séjour avec des enfants impossible de dormir !

Beautiful place but customer service needs some attention.

The location was absolutely brilliant. Overnight parking fee nearby wasn’t that bad either.

There was no airflow nor aircon so it became a hotbox. Bed was not that great either. Also, I had to ask a next door restaurant for help because the communications provided by the owners wasn’t good enough. The owners didn’t respond to any messages at all.

One night too many.

We received no information from the landlord before arrival and had to ask several businesses where the property was before we were able to find it. No one answered the phone number provided. The room we had reserved was not available and we were given a different and smaller room above a noisy street. What was worst was that the room smelled horrible. Something between raw sewage and mold. We kept the windows open but even that didn’t help. We were so happy to leave this morning.

An absolute scam

Dole has a very beautiful inner city. Nice cafés and restaurants and easy accessible by the highway

An absolute Scam. I paid over 70 Euros for a night. After a long ride we arrived during the official arrival time. There was no reception and no one available. We weren´t able to check-in and didn´t get our money back. We had to drive 6 hours home during the night because of this s***ty hotel. Even booking.com wasn`t able to get our money back.

Just about adequate.

The view. Comfortable bed

The bathroom dppr wouldn't slide . The jacuzzi took up all the space. The candles even didn't work. Very dark, and even darker, dusty steep steps to arrive. Key safe didn't work to return key next day.

Very good location to explore the city and comfortable studio

The location was very convenient - in the historical centre of the city next to the waterways. The studio apartment was cosy and well equipped and the bed very comfortable.

Communications regarding gaining access were unclear. This may have been because we only booked on the same day earlier on in the day. When we arrived there was no reception and as we didn't have the number of the apartment had no idea which one it was or how to access the key. Fortunately the gentleman who runs Cafe Charles in the building behind was really helpful and phoned the owner directly, otherwise don't know how we would have gained access. Breakfast was supposed to be included and provided in the cafe next door but unfortunately it was closed.

Great central location. Beautiful. Loads of restaurants. Room well equipped with lovely view of the canal. Beautifully finished room. Great shower.

Difficult to locate residence.. Assumed the rooms were attached to the bar. Would have been helpful to say to ring on arrival. Couldn't get the hob to work. No air con if it is in the height of summer

Extraordinary cleanliness, new linens. Very nice room, view of the canal. Coffee machine, kitchen. Large shower cabin. Parking is a few steps away. Fabulous, thank you so much!

It was so bad we walked away from our second night there, even though we had paid for it.

The ONLY good thing about the property was its location, and the view. Otherwise, STAY AWAY!!!We left a day early just because we couldn’t bear to spend another night in it.

it was like entering a brothel; the walls were dark dark gray, almost black; the heat unbearable was no fan or AC; a Jacuzzi that takes up a third of the space; no toiletries in the bathroom other than a half a roll of toilet paper and a half full liquid soap; no shelves or hooks for your clothes; no way to interact with any staff because there wasn’t any. The whole set up is bizarre. And forget about the ‘B’ for breakfast because there isn’t any.

the view & location …. Except they never answered three requests from booking.com to explain about parking before our arrival. It was all complicated, with no staff, no answers…. The whole place was bizarre. Please don’t book here.

EVERYTHING ELSE !! It was such a horrible experience, we walked away from spending another night there even though we had paid for it.

We booked the room from the description and photos, we were given a different room. Non existent customer service.

Honestly so much. beware the guy is not to be trusted. it’s so much more like a badly run AirBnB - trust your instincts like us walk away. And Booking.com shame on you letting this guy get away with conning your customers on your platform.

Amazing location. Room is in desperate need of some brightness.

The location was unbeatable. The canal literally ran directly underneath the building and the garden path and cafes right alongside were in full flower and colors.

This is a studio in an apartment building, not a hotel or a B&B so there is literally no signage outside to tell you where to go. Once we were finally inside, the interior decor was all top quality but not what I (and, I think, most people) would choose. Black ceiling, dark walls, colored light bulbs, mirrors on the ceiling over the bed; all gave the vibe of a 1980s porn set. We were in Dole for one day to see the Tour De France ride through so didn't spend a lot of time in the room but if we were staying for a week....

Not what we hoped for.

The room was like the photos - close to the town centre and quiet.

Described as a B&B in the title but no breakfast available - even to purchase. Difficult to find. Yes at no.1 in a residence - but how to know which room with absolutely no information. To enter the room you need a code to a safety box to retrieve a tag. No advance information. The host did not answer the phone even though we arrived when we said we would. Finally got hold of him. No information in the room. Lots of remotes to what ? Large screen TV - but only worked on YouTube . No towels in the bathroom. Only soap - no shampoo. Description said there should be water - did not find any. Ok bed - but with a winter eiderdown. We arrived during a heatwave - no Aircon, no fan only a small window that didn't let much air in. So in all it was not the fantastic stay we hoped for.

Seriously could have been better.

We didn’t actually get any sleep, so 7 is very generous. Very central location. The room was very clean and had the things you need. WiFi is fast. But… consider the negatives points before rushing to book.

Who runs this place? I’m a seasoned traveller, but I have no idea who is supposed to be in charge here. I still have 4 messages that remain unanswered and we were let in by a young guy who happened to be outside the restaurant below - completely by chance. The whole thing was bizarre. The room was ok, but the bar downstairs is really noisy until gone 2am and the shower tray trap stank so badly that we left at 7am because we couldn’t sleep in there any longer. I’d have told someone, but who could we tell?! Oh, and you can park for free across the river. Obviously, no one told us this, but we found out ourselves. It’s a real shame. Perhaps we caught them on a really off day.

Love-ly stay in lovely Dole

Unbelievable location and view from window over canal de Tanneurs. Great spa for super sensual experience.

Lack of storage/hanging space for clothes. Maybe work in progress? Remote check-in is impersonal, but quite practical.

Very fun remodel that looked like a lot of love and care went into it. Convenient to restaurants. Very clean.

Very loud at night, hot with no fan, hard to reach owner when we arrived, only one coffee pod. seems like someone needs to be more engaged with the details.

The apartment was very well maintained and had good furnishing. It was very cozy.

We were not able to use the WiFi as the code was nowhere to be found. The bathroom had the smell of a blocked drain.

Very disappointed at being lied to and cheated by the owner. BEWARE - book at your own risk.

BEWARE I didn't like the way I was treated by the owner. All fine at the stage of booking the accommodation. Accomodation was mis-sold. After checkout, owner changed, I was lied to and cheated out of money. I recommend booking different accomodation unless you want the same bad experience as me. There are plenty of other good places in town. Book at your own risk.
