Schöne Anlage aber hinter den Erwartungen

Schöne Anlage oberhalb des Sees. Schöner Poolbereich mit ausreichend Liegen. Nettes Personal beim Frühstück

Klimaanlage vom Dach deutlich hörbar im Zimmer auch nachts. Zimmer recht klein und Möblierung nicht optimal (Stuhl musste jedes Mal zum Fernsehen verschoben werden). Schiebetüre im WC Bereich ging immer wieder auf. Frühstück in Ordnung aber mit Potenzial (Eier lauwarm und zu Beginm der Frühstückszeit noch nicht da)

Room very basic, no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but then you are charged a fortune for tea and coffee during the day. Two single beds pushed together with a sheet and an old itchy blanket on top. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Shower completely open and by the doorway, bathroom not sound proofed which is unacceptable. We were in a ground floor room which felt very overlooked. Pool is small and absolutely freezing, unable to spend more that 5 minutes in there at a time. The restaurant for breakfast was fine, however in the evening the food was bland/boring. The restaurant had no atmosphere, it was dark, silent and unwelcoming. Best part of our stay was the view and leaving for dinner in the evening.

I would love to come back.

We arrived late, during very heavy storms after a day of driving and were welcomed with tremendous kindness and assistance. During our stay all the staff were excellent and the gardens are stunning. Beautiful location and an easy walk to nearby town.

Perhaps not great timing to mow the lawns with a noisy petrol mower when a pianist is playing.

Rejuvenating stay at a beautiful location, will be coming back for sure!

Stunning location, friendly staff and great amenities. The weather was rainy and not great when we went but that didn’t impact our stay because there was still so much to do at the hotel and it was so cosy.

A magical place

Our room faced the lake and the town; at night the fort was lit up & you could hear the lapping of the small waves on the shore. And a sunrise over Monte Baldo - all rather magical. Restaurant had a view of the lake; dinner & breakfast were quite good, well served. Walking into town was easy, with only a few hundred yards on the road to where a path -stairway takes you to the lakeshore & town.

Needed more time! we didn't have the time to use the pool that faces the lake!

Very relaxing hotel with great location for Malcesine!

Fantastic hotel if you’re looking for an extremely relaxing holiday! The pool area has incredible views with waitress service for drinks. All the staff were lovely and a lot of help when organising transfers etc. 20 minute walk into the centre of Malcesine which is mostly along the lovely lakeside path - only a short part on the road.

Incredible view, lovely and peaceful, I was initially worried reading reviews that it was too far outside town but if you’re ok walking it really only takes ten minutes and is a lovely walk. 100% recommend and will be coming back!

A stunning Hotel with views of the lake. Could have stayed there for longer. The pool overlooking the lake and mountains behind were unbelievable.

The breakfast was adequate without being that exciting but this didn't detract from the great Hotel.

Fabulous hotel and location. Would highly recommend

Location and gardens fabulous with plenty of seating/beds. The food was great and staff really helpful and friendly. Excellent facilities and superb infinity pool. Loved having the bikes to ride to town and along the lake. The room was lovely and big with plenty of storage. All in all a fabulous hotel and would definitely stay again. Just wished we had stayed longer

The only thing I could pick up on is the terrace and windows/ doors in the red building need a little renovating on the outside.

The most beautiful hotel and area I think I have been lucky enough to visit.

I would definitely suggest paying the extra for a lake view as waking up to the stunning scenery every morning was amazing. The rooms are plain but lovely quality and spotless, which was exactly what we were expecting from the website. We only had a single shower in our bathroom and the room was a tiny bit smaller than expected but don’t be put off by this at all as we would go back tomorrow and stay in the same room!

We loved everything. It was all just perfect!

Gorgeous setting with great service

Great location, peaceful with wonderful views. Jewel in the Crown is the attitude of the staff, so welcoming and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant is well cooked and plentiful, breakfast equally generous. Pool side service was excellent at all times.

Getting there from an airport without a rented car would be challenging, yet you don't really need a car once you are there - 15 minutes walk to town and to pick up boat trips. Rooms lack mirrors Double room "with lake view" is very much a side view, past other people's balconies.

Peaceful stay.. Stunning views

Pretty much everything. Our room with a balcony and lake view was fantastic. The pool side was stunning and the bar staff friendly and helpful. The waiters at breakfast were also very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh. There was a good range and the cappucino was divine. The location offered stunning views and it was a peaceful and relaxing stay.
