We loved the detail and design put into the hotel. We loved the beach access & beach bar. The restaurants were delicious.
We felt the hotel was under staff in certain areas. The check-in process took way too long due to the lack of staff at the front. The same occurred at the swim up bar and restaurants. The constant waiting rained our experience. We also felt with the quality of hotel that there would be better options than bottom shelf. We are in Mexico and only had two tequilas to choose from.

The service was good. The people were helpful and friendly.
The pool was not heated. I’ve never been to a resort in Cabo that didn’t have a heated pool. Pretty ridiculous for the price they are charging.
The food was average at best with the exception of the Palapa restaurant.

Horrible stay. Staff was not friendly and our room was all the way in the back not ocean view. Instead of ocean view, we had a building view. Requested to change and waisted 2 days and changed to garden view. Room was freezing and there was no heat. Messed up system. Not a comfortable place for a handicap person. Elevators are very far from the lobby and room

The view was stunning and the staff was great most of the time. Due to either shortages of workers or other reasons unknown to us, we did have long wait times for food service and maintenance.
Mold grew in our room causing us to move rooms. The second room started the same growth. We were told it was due to the humidity, but we expected more from a claimed 5 star. Also the facility is nice, but not a true five star.

My family and I had the most wonderful time here. This was our first time at an all inclusive and the room, food and service exceeded our expectations. Our concierge Geronimo went above and beyond at every moment to look after us. As a queer family we were attracted to the hotel because of its positive ratings and we were not disappointed. On the occasion of being treated poorly by a staff member at the one restaurant on site not run by the hotel, the whole reserve team , especially our concierge, Geronimo, jumped into action to remedy the situation. We genuinely felt taken care of. We had an amazing Spa day and felt super relaxed and taken care of. The beach and area of ocean safe to swim in are magical. Away from the crowds of Cabo san Lucas the Paradisus is a gem of a hotel. We look forward to going back soon!
We live in Houston, we are spoiled by so many amazing restaurants and excellent service. What we noticed with it being an all inclusive that since the hotel basically already has your money and I guess not everyone tips, the service in the various restaurants was pretty inconsistent. Not bad but not the level we are used to. However, this was not the case in the reserve lounge or bar, here everything was excellent, well worth the upgrade.

The property is very nice, calm, clean and relaxing.
The property doesn’t have any shows or excitement. Nightly was only a DJ but nothing more than that.

The beach was not bad, you can swim there
Food was just okay, I’m shocked how many great reviews about this place, you always had to wait to be seated, every breakfast they were low staffed so there were many empty dishes in the buffet and it took time for them to bring food out. Pool was somewhat dirty. They closed kids club because hotel is getting ready to be adults only. Not many options for snack.

We didn’t have to go anywhere.
I liked the pool side menu. Dinner menu’s were ok

The swim outs facing the ocean at the reserve were nice, a little wear and tear, but overall nice!
The food at all locations was delicious.
The staff poolside and the staff in the restaurants were attentive and courteous.
Check-in process at the reserve was a production and I would have liked it to be more streamline.
The overall value for only 4 nights just isn’t there.
We had 4 people, at a little over $4000 a couple for 4 nights. I would gladly pay $4000 a couple for a whole week, but not 4 nights.
There was a group that checked in at the reserve, at the same swim up ocean front that we were staying in. The hotel already plays outdoor music, but they thought they’re music was better and needed to be played louder on their portable speaker. This disrupted the pool guests AND the La Palapa guests, but hotel staff did not put a stop to the disruptive behavior.

I liked that I had my own Concierge his name was Ted! excellent hospitality from him.
what I didn’t like they charged me $166.00 for laundry. SMH not cool at all

We are world travelers preferring small boutique hotels but this was an unexpected pearl. Wow, the staff, ALL from housekeeping to restaurant staff were beyond professional and friendly. Sincerely welcoming in a way that is rare.
Not a thing. Keep up the great work.

nice looking hotel with decent beach. food is ok for an all inclusive. we loved the Reserve food buffet and the Nespresso shop. I liked the app to order room service . some friends with babies we were with liked the babysitting services provided.
Our Reserve swim up room was really small, dark and smelled like fresh paint the first day, then wet towels forever the days after that. Ventilation is poor so it smells « humid » . the bathtub in the room is right against the curtains and hard to use without splashing the entire room - i am a bath lover and I did not feel like using it it’s just not well planned . Bathrooms are cramped and poorly lit with very generic toiletries and no fan. Service is questionable. As a reserve guest we get assigned a concierge who communicates by WhatsApp. the concierge is sometimes very quick to respond, and sometimes can take more than 12h ? Same for room service which can be relatively quick or show up hours later. Service at restaurants is extremely slow due to what looks like low staffing. I tried to ordered a paid bottle of wine to get a better one and it was an entire ordeal which took 45 min and could not get charged to my room. They kept asking me if I really wanted to pay for wine. Restaurants « need to be booked 12+h ahead » but we found out that we could actually show up anytime as the hotel was not full at all, even with large groups of people ! this reservation need makes it look fancy but was totally unnecessary. Wine is poor quality as expected in an all inclusive with no choice at all. At bars, ordering a simple drink such as a spicy margarita will lead to a series of 10 to 15 questions about how to make the drink from the bartender which I found really surprising. We were in a swim up suite, which are not private at all- the special pool is shared with the other Reserve guests on the same side of the building, and doing a lap means being able to see everyone in their bedrooms on the way. There are walkways on the other side of the pool so there is a constant stream of people looking at you at all times.

the swimmable beach and the ice cream sundae shop
The need to make dinner reservations was annoying and the food was mediocre.

Architecture. Location. Adult area!! All-inclusive.
The Concierge never answered my questions during the entire stay and only wanted to make restaurant reservations. In addition, he was overly obsequious and touchy to my body. Some food was great (tacos on beach) some was weird (full wine glasses of sake? Not a big deal though.) View was terrific. Location was good. Hard to navigate resort. Adult area terrific!! There should be pickup from airport and WARNING about where to pick up transport and avoid timeshares!

right on the beach, great views, nice pools, extremely friendly staff and the best food we’ve had at an all inclusive property
perhaps coffee shop can be open @ 6:30 am.
not allow vacationers to save beach chairs early n leave it empty so others can’t use beach chairs.
more night time entertainment

I think the resort is in a great location with beautiful scenery of the beach. The staff on the premises with the exception of a few at the front desk were always nice and friendly
Upon arriving I didn't like how we were told we had been upgraded to the "reserve only/adults area" to an ocean view junior suite however the room is NOT a suite it is simply a very small double bed room with an even smaller bathroom. We complained about the room, the smell of sewage and lack of an ocean view only to be told we could switch to a room down the hall that still had the same view, same sewage smell and only one bed (there was two of us). We we not assigned a concierge like all the other guests at the resort seemed to have and all of my requests to speak to or have some sort of contact with management went ignored. I basically felt trapped into staying into the room because the money had been paid and at the end of the day I wanted to enjoy and make the best of the vacation. However I do not feel like I was valued as a paying customer nor was the act of hospitality taken into account. After making several complaints to the front desk and noticing they had nicer rooms on the opposite side of the resort I asked if we could be moved to one of those rooms, I confirmed the resort wasnt even at 50% occupied and the rooms were available but we were told if we wanted to move we would have to pay an additional $250 after already spending almost 6k on a room that smelled of sewage the entire time! How is this good customer service or creating a good experience for the customer especially during the holiday season. I could understand if the rooms we're not available but after being on the resort for 5 days we could pretty much gauge the resort was not at full capacity. Good customer service would've been to move us to another room. I've stayed at many luxury resorts my last stay in Los Cabos I stayed at the Nobu resort and although not all inclusive I felt like I got my moneys worth and valued as a customer.

Nice building and location
Food poisoning twice in one week
Service not good at all

The view was breathtaking. The restaurants and bars are easy to find
The only thing I can say I didn’t like or took an issue with was that there only one restaurant open for lunch.
