L’endroit devrait être rénové et l’accueille améliorer

Le lieux était bien localisé. L’endroit semble avoir connu des beaux jours dans le passé un charme possible. Ils faisaient des travaux quand nous étions là peut être le charme reviendra!!

Trou dans le plafond de la chambre. Travaux non prévu tôt le matin. Piscine pas propre, ne pouvant pas être utilisé. Aucun personnel à qui s’informer ou nous accueillir à notre arrivée et durant le séjour… merci à Samantha la femme d’entretien qui nous a aidé durant notre séjour.

Good

We were able to choose between two cottages which was nice. The apartment was pretty spacious and the whole place is close to the beach.

We didn't get any response from the hosts after sending a whatsapp with a question. It felt like they wouldn't really care about their guests. We didn't see them during 7 days at all. The pool was not as nice as shown on some pictures and there are different poolchairs than on the pictures. The apartment was a little worn out and there was not that much equipment in the kitchen.

the a/c was great. nice beach across the street. Location was ok because we rented a car. Not the size we ask for but it had nothing to do with our stay. Water stop working twice while we were showering. something kept crying outside our door. something kept running on top of the building in the middle of the night and was scratching the roof, that was scary. But other than that it was very nice. The host was very friendly

Good staff and good size of room - that's it

Cornelia was really nice and got out of her way to help us when we needed. Good room size.

On our second day, there was no power or water. It took them the whole day to sort it out and we had to go out without a shower. The shower water isn't hot enough. There's a car hire service linked to the BnB - avoid at all costs!!! We tried to hire a car with a bigger boot (example, a Nissan Juke) as we have a baby and had to transport the buggy wherever we'd go. To start, the car wasn't there the time they told us it was going to be. We also requested a baby seat for our toddler, which we were going to pay $10/day. When the car arrived, it was a Nissan Micra!!! And they didn't have the baby seat!!! Long story short, we wasted our 1st day so we could sort out a car as the BnB is far from anything. Cornelia helped us and took us to a car hire which charged us less for the daily rate and didn't charge for the baby seat for the car.

Bad

The orginal room was dirty and not cleaned so we got a new room. When we was suppose to go to bed the bed was wet so we had to find one blanket (we had with us) and slept on the sofa. The towels was also wet.

Amazing!!

Location is far from downtown BUT quiet, near bus stop and beach, we found it convenient.

The driveways need to be paved, extremely bumpy.

Disappointing

The location is great. There’s a restaurant and coffee shop in walking distance. The beach is across the street and very easy access to public transportation.

Host rushed through the check in process, literally asked If I can hurry because she has somewhere else to be then arrived 40 mins early to rush and check me out. My biggest concern though was that as a solo female guest I did not feel safe for several reasons. There is hallway that leads from the door of the room to two other doors. One of which was not able to be secured from my side. I shared my concerns with the hosts and they assured me that it couldn’t be opened from the other side and that not even they had the key to unlock it. They did come by a day later to try to secure it from the other side but being able to lock it from my side would’ve given me a greater piece of mind. Secondly the lock on the windows were unable to slide across completely. I would like to note that the surroundings of the property could be better kept. I kept my window shade closed from a view of what could easily be a beautiful courtyard but was an eyesore with junk materials, old appliances and one day there was also a male construction worke The outdoor furniture around the pool and the pool all looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while as there were stains on the cushions. The closet area of the rental (hallway) was also not cleaned. There was a dirty mop and bucket as well as a dusty safe and you can tell the floor hadn’t been swept either. My suggestion to the host would be to make that entire area inaccessible as its more creepy than useful anyway. There is currently renovations on the property. I feel this should have been mentioned so that guests like me aren’t surprised when we arrive. Again, there was a junk truck in the parking area with old material and garbage not to mention construction woke me up one morning while I was there- again with no notice whatsoever. The property is in a beautiful location and has lots of potential and many units. This particular unit in my opinion should not be available to rent until those issues are fixed.
