Perfect
Other than the parking issue it was amazing. There is free parking about .3 miles from apartment. If you are lucky you can find unlimited free parking close. We did when we first got there but Sunday I went to do my nails/pedicure & I lost that spot. But otherwise the apartment, location was amazingly beautiful.

Nice for a short stay
Positives:
*It’s a short walk to the beach, bayside and ocean side.
*Bed was comfy with 4 nice pillows, luxurious blanket.
*Shower was amazing!! Perfect water pressure, perfect temperature, nice shower head, roomy! (Towels, Shampoo, conditioner and liquid body soap provided!)
*Short walk to activities and food! (We rented bikes)
*Very clean!
*Coffee maker came with some supplies! We brought our Keurig because we are not used to having these things provided.
*Beach chairs and toys available!
Cons (in fairness none of this was reported during my stay so I didn’t expect it to be fixed while there):
*Couch not comfy (futon without arm rests). I lean when I sit d/t a bum hip so arm rests are a must. I forgot to check this before booking. It’s not a squishy couch but it’s functional.
*couch not convenient to watching tv but I’m assuming that is because this is an older building and space is a luxury.
*No parking for 1 bedroom unit. (Owner did let us use a garage for 2 out of 3 nights as they weren’t being used at the time). Third night we parked in the lot by the bayside beach. It’s really not that far of a walk unless you have difficulty walking to begin with. We used the opportunity to stop for sushi on our way back to the unit.
*Ceiling fan in dining area didn’t work. Cord must have been pulled too hard at some point as it’s stuck.
*Chairs around dining table aren’t made for bigger people (My boyfriend is 6’4”). Average and smaller size people will be fine.
*Toilet is behind bathroom door
*Sink water flow is almost zero in bathroom
Overall not bad for a short stay. We stayed 3 nights. I like to think of the place I stay as for sleeping and showering. During the day we are out and about.

Walk to the beach or the bay!
The description of the property is accurate. We arrived by Uber and used that service the entire time. We were less than a 2 minute walk to coffee, the beach, and the bay. Great access to beach running, ocean activities, and great dining. We slept well in the bed and had everything we needed for several days. Happy we chose this location.

Cute 1 bedroom steps from mission beach boardwalk
We stayed for 3 nights so the one bedroom is great for me and my GF. There are no shared walls and nobody below the unit as well. This was great since we had most of the windows open at night. We found the neighbor noise to be minimal at best.
When we visit San Diego, where we stay is only for sleep. We’re always out and about until bed time. So having a quiet place and not worrying about making noise when coming in late is great!
A small, very small inconvenience (since we don’t mind walking in San Diego weather) is the parking. It is a bit of a walk but thinking about it, compared to our stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt downtown in one of our visits, the distance to walk is comparable to staying in our room and walking to the parking garage.
Overall we were satisfied with our stay and would consider staying here again.

Week Away
Location was perfect as it was steps from the bay walk path and only a couple blocks from restaurants and the ocean at mission beach. Only drawback was we stayed 6 nights and laundry machines are only available to to 7 nights or longer stays.

Booked this listing for a romantic Valentines Day trip. Great location, a bit pricey but with the listed amenities, seemed a fair deal. *PARKING IS LISTED IN AMENITIES* Parking was not included when asked for the assigned spot. I would never book a stay in CA anywhere without parking as it’s a common inconvenience, especially in a tourist area. I would have requested a refund, but it wasn’t an option, so we continued our trip plan to stay at the rental. After a long day of traveling and dinner, we had to park almost a mile away from the property. Not a great area at night, and while walking down the alley to get to the unit I fell on uneven pavement and cut my knees pretty badly. Not able to walk back to my vehicle, because of distance (also not wanting to lose the spot we finally found), I contacted property manager. Also listed in amenities was a first aid kit, which was NOT on property. There was also not any hand soap of any kind in bathroom or kitchen. The manager was nice enough to come by and bring some supplies. That was the only positive experience here. When she arrived we also had to have her fix the pilot on the heater as that was out. Another issue here. When asked if there was a better option for parking she suggested a lot nearby; a lot which has posted signs that there is NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. Her response to that was, “Oh no one checks on that, just park there.” Her suggestion was to park illegally. The second night of the stay parking was even further away. About a mile. Can you imagine staying here with children and trying to do this? Or someone who isn’t capable? Terrible if you have anything to carry. Unable to walk in the beach, or spend time with my partner for the holiday completely ruined this vacation. With Covid, we haven’t traveled. We were really looking forward to this trip. After reaching out to the owner, who did not respond, the property manager came back and essentially said, “You didn’t fall on our property (which I certainly did, right downstairs from the unit!) , and the parking garages were only for two bedroom stays, we’ll give you a free night of a THREE DAY STAY.” Listed amenities for this unit said parking, and a first aid kit. Neither were available. I have screen shots stating that, and the VRBO rep I spoke to also saw this listed. If it no longer lists that it’s because they’ve updated their mistake. I’m not a fan of bad review posts, but I kindly reached out to no avail. DO NOT STAY HERE.
