Man bezahlt für die Lage, nicht für die Ausstattung...

Die Lage ist für Bahnreisende nahezu perfekt, direkt neben dem Bahnhof und in Laufweite zur Altstadt. Wir können zumindest im Sommer auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer zum Innenhof empfehlen, dann kann man bei Hitze mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Das Doppelbett ist relativ bequem.

Das Bad ist zwar riesig, aber wirklich alt und abgenutzt. Das Klappbett war alles andere als bequem.

We stayed for the value and I think we got what we paid for.

Great location near train station and walkable to the parts of town we wanted to see. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Mini fridge.

Doorknob to our room was broken - almost falling off. The outlet also didn’t work by the bed and the other outlet in the room was on a switch so you couldn’t charge your phone unless the hall light was on. We had to charge phones in the bathroom. Hotel smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. There is no AC and no fans. The room we had at the back didn’t get any cross breeze because it was surrounded by buildings so it remained very warm. Our room in the front of the building (we had two rooms) cooled off easily but it was right on the street and there was incredible street noise. So you had to sleep with the windows closed.

With was adequate and clean, but nothing fancy

The location was amazing. We were on and off trains the entire time and this made everything easy.

It constantly smelled like smoke even though it was nonsmoking

Good stay

Nice sized room with a good location, especially if you have to take an early train. Flexible personal that keeps your luggage while waiting for check in.

No air conditioner in the room, so it was very warm during the night.

It's very good location, very close to Bern central station. There are many store in train station. many favorite restaurant were around the hotel. The staff is kind and smart.

Great location within walking of parking garage and city attractions and restaurants. Beds and linens were comfortable.

Bathroom is "tired", tile grout is stained. No in-room coffee was provided, only tea. No wash-clothes were provided, only hand and bath sized towels. Needed to open windows to be comfortable, but street noise did not calm until after midnight.

Nice stay in Bern at the City am Bahnhof.

The location is good, very near the train and bus station. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room is wide enough to accommodate 3 persons. A kettle, hair dryer are provided in the room. As well as ticket for public transportation.

The hotel should provide more bathroom utilities such as shower cap, more shelves in the bath room.

Main draw is the location

Good location, slightly under 10 min walk from the train station and very near the main tourist street. Check in staff were friendly and helpful.

Room felt a little outdated and the mattresses were thin. Place gets a little noisy as the soundproofing isn’t good.

Good affordable hotel in the heart of the city. Was perfect for a family of 4 staying one night.

Location was perfect - steps away from the train station and the Old City. I think they actually upgraded my room to two adjoining rooms instead of one family room since there was availability. Was comfortable for a single night stay.

I will recommend friends who are going to Bern to stay here.

Location, walk underground and when you come out from the escalator the hotel is diagonally across from it. It is also v close to the city centre. All within walking distance.
